Au début c'était une impression, puis j'ai bien vue que ça devenait un sujet politique et aujourd'hui, l'étude menée par Recensement Canada le démontre : oui, la langue française est en déclin au Québec !
Partant de ce constat, Flavie Payette-Renouf a voulu se projeter dans l'avenir. Histoire de voir vers où peut mien nous mener le chemin. Pour cela elle est allé voire une autre communauté qui, de l'autre côté de la frontière (aux Etats-Unis) a aussi connu le pas si lent et inexorable déclin du français. Pourquoi ? Aurait-il été possible de sauver le soldat Ryan (même si pour le coût, Ryan s'appellerait plutôt Jacques).
Le documentaire s'appelle "La disparition tranquille". Il est passionnant car il en dit beaucoup sur l'identité québécoise et cette lutte qu'est, encore aujourd'hui, la défense du fait français en Amérique du Nord.
Perso j'ai envie de voir le Québec comme ce fameux village Gaulois. Tant qu'il sera debout, tout restera toujours possible.
