A l'occasion de la nomination ce soir pour les fameux Prix Gémeaux de son émission "La préhistoire du Québec"

C'est vrai que le cannabis est en vente libre ici, mais pour autant, si je vous dis qu'ici il y avait des montagnes plus hautes que l'Himalaya, des champignons de 8m de haut et un climat subtropical... je ne suis pas en pleine crise hallucinogène. Non, c'est juste que j'ai laissé Patrick Couture m'embarquer dans un voyage aussi lointain que surprenant. (ceci dit, "comme le disait Jean-Claude Duss, faites quand même "attention aux renards").
Enseignant à l'école primaire de Saint-Zotique (près de Montréal), Patrick est passionné de préhistoire. Et il se trouve que part extraordinaire, le Québec est une terre particulièrement fertile en la matière. On y retrouve les plus grands cratères, les plus anciennes traces de vie, les plus vieux végétaux fossilisés... C'est vraiment étonnant.
Son livre (paru aux éditions Fides et récemment réédité) est également décliné en bande dessinée. 6 tomes ont été nécessaires et rendent le vertigineux voyage aussi ludique qu'instructif.
J'ai adoré... et pas seulement parce que je m'apprête à adopter Patrick (... pour comprendre il vous faudra écouter l'épisode jusqu'au bout ;-) )
