Today I'm going to Share withyou 10 Christian songs that just
are uplifting.
I don't know, they're just powerful.
They make you just want toworship and dance.
And so I'm going to share thiswith you today.
And there's a link in the shownotes where you can go grab that
(01:04):
playlist from Apple Music.
If you're not on Apple Music, then you can just type in the artist
and the name of the song andfind it wherever you listen to music.
Okay, so here we go.
Here we go.
I'm going to share these 10songs with you.
I can tell you that when Ishare songs, which I don't do all
the time, but I do onoccasion, people love finding music
(01:24):
that other people arelistening to that maybe they haven't
discovered before.
Sometimes there are alreadyartists that you're listening to,
but maybe there's newer songsthat you haven't heard from that
artist.
So let me dive right in.
And obviously for rightsreasons, I can't share snippets of
the music with you on herebecause I don't have that lined up
or worked out, but I willshare with you the name of the song
(01:46):
and the artist.
Okay, so there's a couplesongs that I'm really enjoying by
Christian singer Jervis Campbell.
The first is Testify and thenanother one is called Stuck in the
Clouds and the third one byhim is True North.
All three of those are just, Idon't know, they're just good music,
(02:10):
good lyrics, upbeat.
And I have created an albumcalled Upbeat Faith because my other
Faith album has a mix of stuffin it.
But this one, it's the album Iwant to listen to when I want to
be in a good mood and I justwant To I just want to be kind of
get re centered and I justwant to worship God.
And so those are.
(02:31):
Those are the first couple.
And then there is a song thatJervis Campbell and Josiah Queen
sing together called Alonewith you that I really, really enjoyed.
And let me see here.
And then another one by justJosiah Queen is My Promised Land,
which is really good.
(02:52):
And then, let's see.
And then Leanna Crawford, she.
You, many of you might haveheard her song that she sang, it's
probably been years, calledStill Waters, and it talks about
Psalm 23 in the actual song.
But two of her songs that I'menjoying right now are Make it through
and Looking for you.
(03:13):
And then the two other onesare it's no Fear by John Reddick.
And you may have heard thatone before.
I know that one's probably onK Love and things like that pretty
often.
And then the last one that Iwant to share today is by Cochrane
& Co.
And it's money Can't Buy.
It starts out a little slower, but then the beat really gets going
(03:34):
and, you know, just anotherpowerful song.
But these are the 10 songsthat I wanted to come on and share
with you.
And there's plenty ofscripture in the Bible that talks
about praising God withdancing or song or making melody.
And so I'll just share one ortwo of those with you.
Okay.
(03:55):
One is in Psalm 149,3, itsays, Let them praise his name with
dancing, making melody to himwith tambourine and lyre.
Another One is Psalm 95, 1,which is, oh, come, let us sing to
the Lord.
Let us make a joyful noise tothe rock of our salvation.
(04:15):
Okay, and then another onethat's not in Psalm, because there's
a lot.
Lots of those is, let's see,you know, popular one we've probably
all heard is Ecclesiastes 3,4, which part, you know, it says,
a time to weep and a time tolaugh, a time to mourn and a time
(04:35):
to dance.
And in Exodus 15:20, it says,Then Miriam, the prophetess, the
sister of Aaron, took atambourine in her hand, and all the
women went out after her withtambourines and dancing.
But throughout the Bible wesee examples of dancing and singing
or using musical instrumentsto praise the Lord and to worship.
(04:59):
And so I just think that whenwe can find music that helps us do
that, it's just such a lovelything to add into our day when we.
We feel like listening to music.
So like I said, today's ashort episode.
I just wanted to come on andshare those.
And most importantly, today'sepisode will just let you go into
