Speaker 1 (00:05):
A new creature in Christ.
What kind of a creature is that?
Some people think, well, onethat's saved, yes, but you know
what does a saved?
What's it like being a savedcreature?
But when we are born again, thetransformation is phenomenal.

(00:33):
If you're in Christ, you're nowa new creature.
You know, you'll hear peoplesay I have the Lord inside of me
and that's the beginning ofthis spirit life.
I've asked Jesus to come andlive with me and he's in me.

(00:57):
But it's another level for usto live as if we are in Christ.
And now you're as a newcreature.
You have a purpose for life, the world.
They think they have a purpose, but everything they do passes
away, it comes to naught.

(01:19):
We help temporarily, we blesstemporarily, but it's only
temporarily.
But everything that the newcreature does is eternal, for
who hath known the mind of theLord that he may instruct him.
But we now, every time in theBible, in the New Testament,

(01:43):
that you see this term, we,especially in Paul's epistles,
every time you see that he'stalking about you, the believer,
he's talking about the newcreation.
Every time you see we, you knowwe.
Usually that's what it'sreferring to New creation.

(02:05):
But we have the mind of Christ.
Now the reason I want to tellyou this what is so amazing is
that when you are a new creature, you think differently In the
world.
You strive hard to earn yourmoney.

(02:26):
You hoard and you collect for arainy day.
A believer has income and hasstorage as well and have money
there.
But the thing is, when they seea need, they share it, they
contribute it, they give to that, they do not hold back.

(02:51):
Now you're going to say whywould you do that If you were a
wise person?
If you were a wise man or woman, you would not be doing so much
.
Don't give 200, give 20.
Don't give 2,000't give 200,give 20.
Don't give 2 000, give 200.
The wisdom would say hoard it,because you're probably going to

(03:12):
need it yourself later on.
But that's the wisdom thatcomes from men.
Amen In verse 5 of 2Corinthians your faith.
Now, who's the your?
The your that he's talkingabout here is the new created

(03:34):
creature in Christ that you arebecoming your.
Why are you?
Are your the new creation?
Man, the new creation shouldnot stand in the wisdom of men,

(03:55):
but in the power of God.
See, god gives power for lotsof things.
He gives power for us to moveand have our being.
He gives power for us to moveand have our being.
He gives power in faith.
He gives power when the enemycomes against us.
We serve a mighty God of power, and all of these blessings are

(04:21):
given to the new creature that'sin Christ Jesus, because God
will give wisdom, and he givesit in abundance and he expects
us to use it.
He expects the new creature, who is now strong in faith, to
no longer rely on the wisdom ofmen, what the world relies on.

(04:44):
But I'm going to go down toverse 7.
But we speak the wisdom of God.
We speak it.
Did you see that?
We speak the wisdom of God.
How are new believers going toget strong?
How are they going to grow?

(05:05):
They listen.
They listen to God's ministers, they listen to other believers,
they listen to what the Lordhimself says.
They listen Hallelujah andeverything that is spoken where
the new creation man iscomfortable.

(05:27):
Is God speaking Now.
When you think about that for amoment, every believer in the
spirit, every believer, everything they speak, is God
speaking now.
That's taking it out there likehello, like that is just way

(05:48):
too much.
But that's what it says.
See, there are many passages inthe Bible that are so powerful,
so strong that if we could justtap into it, we would move in
such a way that we would haveunderstanding for every

(06:12):
situation we find ourselves in.
We would know exactly what weshould do, what we should say,
when we should say it or whenwe're not to say it.
The new creature is absolutelypowerful, beyond what the human

(06:35):
mind, what the human wisdom, could even try to figure out.
And we have been entrusted withit.
It's a trust.
This was the wisdom of God thatwe would have and speak this

(06:55):
wisdom.
That's the wisdom of God.
That's why it's so importantthat we gather so that we may
have fellowship with one another, because we strengthen one
another.
We do not speak the wisdom ofthis world to an individual
thinking that that is the wordof God.

(07:16):
The word of God does not comefrom the mouth of a worldly
individual.
It may sound like it is, but Iwant to tell you something about
the word of God.
When a believer speaks the wordof God, that is life.
When an unbeliever speaks aword from God, there's no life

(07:42):
in it.
You're going to say well, it'sthe sound, I've heard the
message.
It's not just your word.
Your word is traveling with theinvisible power of God.
That word that you speak is notjust a.
Anybody could stand up, aheathen could stand up and say

(08:03):
Jesus Christ is the sameyesterday, today and forever.
And you'd get chills and sayyeah, yeah, yeah, oh man, that
was wonderful.
No, it wasn't wonderful.
You misunderstood.
There was no life in what theysaid.
Life is in the word, that's inthe new creative being, the new

(08:24):
creature.
When the new creature speaksthe word, it's a good seed.
Have you ever and I'm sure youhave, if you're a gardener,
that's the time of year hereright now if you were to plant a
seed, if you were to plant anold, dead seed, you could go
through all the mechanicsgetting the ground ready and

(08:46):
planting and nothing will grow.
There has to be power in theseed and there's power in the
word.
This is the hidden wisdom ofGod.
I'm going to say this to youtoday and I want you to hear me
clearly.
I know what I'm saying.
We are in a period where we'regoing to have to know those who

(09:15):
are of God.
We are living in a period whenwe must know that it's a word of
life.
We're living in a time wherepolitics and a lot of
foolishness that's gone on won'tcut it anymore.

(09:37):
People now, the true ones, thetrue people are going to hang on
to those that have the mind ofChrist and they want to know
what it's like the greatestphilosophers In this world, past
and present.
They're restricted and they'reclouded in their thinking and

(10:02):
their understanding becausethey're not a new creature.
I believe that there has to bea birthing of a new creature and
I believe that that newcreature must be nourished and
matured and will continue tominister in the things of God.
Colossians, chapter 2, verse 3.
Maybe I'll start with verse 1.

(10:23):
For I would that you knew whatgreat conflict I have for you
and for them at Laodicea, andfor as many as have not seen my
face in the flesh, that theirhearts might be comforted, being
knit together in love unto allriches of the full assurance of
understanding.
Therefore, their hearts mightbe comforted, being knit

(10:48):
together in love unto all richesof the full assurance of the
understanding, to theacknowledgement of the mystery
of God and of the Father and ofChrist, in whom are here all the
treasures of wisdom andknowledge.
In John, chapter 1, verse 12 see, we're all we're witnessing in

(11:15):
our lifetime.
Right now, at this stage, weare witnessing the unfolding of
the kingdom of God that iscoming in like a mighty rushing
wind.
We're seeing the manifestationof this kingdom.
We see maturity.
We see people that are hungryfor maturity.

(11:36):
But listen to to this John 1,12.
Here's what the Bible says and Ithink it's so important that we
listen to what the Word of Godsays.
But as many as received himthis doesn't happen to everybody
.
There is a teaching out there.
Everybody's going to be okay, everybody's going to be safe.
No, as many as received him, tothem Gave he power To become

(12:06):
the sons of God, even to them,or that believe on his name.
Who are the them?
The ones that believe on hisname?
Hallelujah, that's soencouraging.
Power to become Greater is hethat is in you than he that is
in the world.
Implying to me, the sons of Godare led by the Spirit of God.

(12:31):
Let's look at Romans 8, 19.
I'm going to share with yousomething more about this new
creature in Christ.
These are some qualities weneed to think about.
For the earnest expectation ofwhat?
Of the creature?
What's he earnestly, anxiouslyanticipating, waiting for the

(13:00):
manifestation of the sons of Godand the manifestation of the
sons of God.
He wants to see them allspeaking the wisdom of God.
He wants to see them all movingin the power of God.
He wants to hear them declaringthis is what God is like and
this is what God is saying anddoing.
They're anticipating that thisnew creature in christ, god's

(13:25):
people, are having a majorspiritual awakening.
Right now we've entered the ageof the kingdom, which is the
age of the spirit.
We've left the day of the souland we've truly entered into
what's known as the third day,the day of the spirit.
We're moving in this and thisnew creature couldn't be happier

(13:49):
time of manifestation likewe've never known it, and it can
only happen if we'll step outand do it.
It's like a little one, and weknow that they can do something.
Little one and we know thatthey can do something, but they
don't know that they can do it.
And we'll say come on, you canstand.
Yes, you can walk.
Yes, you can.
No, they don't know it.

(14:10):
They look at you like are youall right in the head?
Like what's going on?
Yeah, you can do it, and youlet them stand.
I think probably one of the anexample I could use.
That you may find interestingis if you got a bicycle for your
child or maybe your parent didit to you and when you're trying

(14:34):
to learn to ride the bicycle, you know they hold the seat,
they hold the handles and you dothat and you pedal.
They hold the handles and youdo that and you pedal.
You know you do that.
Who knows 15, 20 times.
You're saying you're doingreally good.
Okay, let's do it again, do itagain.
And time 21 you take thehandles and you steer it and
you're still holding the seatand, yeah, you can do it.

(14:56):
Ah, time 26, and you're gettingready to do it and they start
down the road.
Okay, pedal, let's go.
And they're doing it.
They're pedaling, they'rebalancing, maybe starting to
wobble a bit, but they're doingit.
You've been waiting for that.
You've been involved in tryingto get your child to learn to

(15:20):
ride a bicycle.
Well, in the kingdom of God, godis trying to tell us come on,
you can do it.
There's so much waiting for you.
You are a new creature and thenew creature is Christ in you.
I'm reminded today of Christlaying there in the manger,

(15:42):
wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Couldn't do anything but justlay there.
That's all he could do, butthere came a day when he could
walk on water and calm thestorms.
It's time to come out of thoseswaddling clothes as you lay
there sleeping.
Let us arise and go forth.

(16:03):
Now are we the sons of god?
First john 3, 2 and doth.
Not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall
appear we shall be like him,for we shall see him as he is.
