welcome to blessed to be S. I'myour cousin and Christ won trial

(00:47):
event. And this is bougie Biblestudies. If you are new here,
I'd like to welcome you to thenumber one Bible study class
that you will ever come across.
And if you are not new here, youalready know how we get down
over here as we dive into theBible, and read a chapter a week
and get the inside story of whattook place in ancient times. And

(01:09):
that is still relativelyimportant and vital for our
lives. Today, the Bible ispreached all over the world in
different languages anddifferent books. But for me, it
is very important to dive intothe Bible where I understand it
and get that deliverance andthat message from the Holy
Spirit of God to talk and speakto me. And I asked that the Holy

(01:31):
Spirit also speaks to youindividually as you listen to
the story or read the story withme. If you are not new here, you
can check out any episode beforethis and get an understanding of
how these Bible study classestake place. As I just solidly
dive into the Bible and read thestory and let God use me for who
I am to give an insight of myunderstanding of the chapter

(01:53):
that we read, as well as I breakit down for understanding for
myself. Now, the things that Isay on this podcast are not what
God tells me to tell you becauseHe speaks to me solely and I
just ask that you open up yourheart and let the Holy Spirit
and God use you to speak to yousolely as well. So don't ever
misconstrue and think that Godhas given me a message for you.

(02:16):
If anything, what comes from theBible is directed for all of us,
and how we interpret it isstrictly from the Lord to us. So
it is very important for you toget a relationship with God so
that you can hear what he istalking to you about not just
what he is saying to me, youalready go ahead and grab your

(02:38):
Bibles. This week we will be ina second Samuel chapter 12. Last
week, we were in Second Samuelchapter 11. And we heard the
story of David and Bathsheba andDavid should have never done
that where he had Uriah killedand slept with his wife,
Bathsheba, and all of this goodstuff that took place. If you

(02:59):
want to hear that story, goahead and check it out. You can
click the link below this andyou can simply hear any story
before this. But this week weare in Second Samuel chapter 12.
And our title for today isNathan rebukes the king, which
he rebukes King David. And justfollowing up from chapter 11,

(03:21):
which is good I like whenstories go ahead and continue
through. Because if you knowyou've been rocking with us, you
know we've been going in and outof the Bible so that we can kind
of get an understanding of howthe Bible storytelling goes, if
that makes sense. So what I haveis my Bible basically have me
jump to different chapters. Andwhat I like about that is that

(03:43):
it just gives me a goodunderstanding of Christianity,
it gives me a good understandingon the life of Jesus, it gave me
a great understanding of thelife of Paul and you know, as we
are diving into the OldTestament, and it's given me an
understanding of what took placeback then. And that Old
Testament where God was talkingto the people at that time. And
so it is very important for usto really dissect the Bible on

(04:04):
our own and not really go off ofwhat preachers are people are
saying in their terms on on whatthey hear from God because not
everybody message is for youshould I say but I do not want
to take up too much of yourtime. Go ahead and grab your
Bible. You can simply listenalong it is your prerogative, it
is your business. However youwant to choose to listen to this

(04:26):
podcast or go along with us. Youcan be related to me to Christ
and go ahead and dive in bygrabbing your Bible and you
know, letting letting lettingGod use you. If you are ready, I
am too and let's go secondSamuel chapter 11. Nathan
rebukes David. The Lord sentNathan to David and when he came

(04:46):
to him, he said there were twomen and a certain town, one rich
any other poor. The rich man hada very large number of sheep and
cattle but the poor man hadnothing except one little ewe
lamb he had bought, he raised itand I grew up with him and his
children is shared his food, drank from his cup and even

(05:07):
slept on his arm. It was like adaughter to him. Now, a traveler
came to the rich man, but therich man refrain from taking one
of his own sheep or cattle toprepare a meal for the traveler
who had come to him. Instead, hetook the ewe lamb that belongs
to the poor man and prepared itfor the one who had come to him.
David burned with anger againstthe man and said to Nathan, as

(05:30):
surely as the Lord lives, theman who did this must die, he
must pay for that Lamb fourtimes over because he did such a
thing and had no pity. ThenNathan said to David, you are
that man, this is what the Lordthe God of Israel says, I
anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the

(05:51):
hand of Saul, I gave yourMasters House to you and your
masters, wives into your arms, Igave you all Israel and Judah.
And if all this had been toolittle, I would have given you
even more. Why did you despisethe word of the Lord by doing
what is evil in his eyes, youstruck down Uriah the Hittite
with the sward and took his wifeto be your own, you killed him

(06:14):
with the sword of the almondknights Now, therefore, the
sward would never depart fromyour house because you despise
me and took the wife of Uriahthe Hittite to be your own. This
is what the Lord says, out ofyour own household, I am going
to bring calamity on you beforeyour very eyes. I will take your

(06:35):
wives and give them to one whois close to you. And he will
sleep with your wives in broaddaylight. You did it in secret,
but I would do this thing inbroad daylight before all
Israel. Then David said toNathan, I have sinned against
the Lord. Nathan replied, TheLord has taken away your sin,
you are not going to die. Butbecause by doing this, you have

(06:58):
shown utter contempt for theLord the son born to you will
die. After Nathan had gone home.
The Lord struck the child thatyou Riis wife had born to David,
and he became ill David pleadedwith God for the child. He
fasted and spent the night lionand a sack clock on the ground.
The elders of his house hostedbeside him to get him up from

(07:20):
the ground, but he refused andhe would not eat any food with
them. When the seventh day thechild died. David's attendants
were afraid to tell him that thechild was dead for they thought,
while the child was stillliving. He wouldn't listen to us
when we spoke to him. How can wenow tell him the child is dead?
He may do something desperate,David noticed that his

(07:43):
attendants were whispering amongthemselves and he realized the
child was dead. Is a child dead?
He asked. Yes, they replied, Heis dead. Then David got up from
the ground after he had washed, put on lotions and changed his
clothes. He went into the houseof the Lord in worship. And then

(08:03):
he went to his own house, and athis request, they served him
food, and he ate, but hisattendants had asked him, Why
are you acting this way? Whilethe child was alive, you fasted
and wept, but now that the childis dead, you get up and eat, he
answered, while the child wasstill alive. I fasted and wept.

(08:24):
I thought, who knows the Lordmay be gracious to me and let
the child live. The now that thechild is dead, why should I go
on fasting? Can I bring him backagain, I will go to him but he
will not returned to me. ThenDavid comforted his wife,
Bathsheba, and he went to herand made love to her she gave
birth to a son and they namedhim Solomon. The Lord loved him.

(08:47):
And because the Lord loved him,he sent word through Nathan the
prophet to name him Jedediah.
Meanwhile, Joab fought againstrobber of the Ammonites and
captured the royal citadel. Joabthen sent messengers to David
saying, I have fought againstRobert and taken its water
supply now muster the rest ofthe troops and besieged the city

(09:07):
and capture it. Otherwise, Iwill take the city and it will
be named after me. So Davidmustered the entire army and
went to Raba and intact andcaptured it. David took the
crown from their kings head, andit was placed on his own head.
It weighed a talent of gold, andit was set with precious stone.
David took a great quantity ofplunder from the city and

(09:29):
brought out the people who werethere co signing them to labor
with Saul's and with IronPigsand Axess. He made them work at
brickmaking. David did this toall the Ammonite towns, and then
his entire army returned toJerusalem. And that is the end
of our chapter. You guys. Okay, let's break it down. Let's break

(09:51):
it down.
At the end of chapter 11. Godwas not very happy with what
David did because David use hispower for the wrong thing,
basically. So in chapter 12Nathan came to rebuke David,
like what you did was absolutelywrong. And let me tell you, the

(10:11):
Lord is not happy with you. Sothe Lord sent Nathan a David.
And when he came to him, heended up telling David about a
story. He was like, Look, there's two men. One man, he got
a lot of sheep, a lot of cattle,a lot of everything. And there's
a poor man who has nothing butexcept he has one lamb, he loves
his lamb eat with him. He letshis lamb drink with him. He

(10:35):
basically treats this one lambas if his own child, a stranger
comes to the to the man and therich man ends up not giving his
lamb or any of all of his thingsthat he have to prepare a meal
for the traveler. He ends uptaking the poor man's lamb and
kills it and ends up serving itto the traveler. Now when Devi

(10:58):
hear this story, he gets reallysuper angry. He's like, Oh, hell
no have no that man should payfor that Lamb like He must die
he needs to pay for that Lambtimes for because what he did
was out of pity Nathan is like, well, you are the rich man. You
are that man. You basically tookyou Ryan's wife when God had

(11:20):
gave you plenty wives, he gaveyou your Masters House he gave
you plenty of wives to have butinstead you took your servants
servants wife, and you know whatyou did was basically wrong. You
had no pity. So now David, realize like, Oh my god.
Basically, Nathan said todaythat you are that man. This is

(11:43):
what the Lord the God of Israelsays, I anointed you king over
Israel, and I delivered you fromthe hand of Saul, I gave you
your Masters House in yourmasters wives into your arms. I
gave you all of Israel andJudah. And if all this had been
too little, I would have evengiving you more. Why did you
despise the word of the Lord bydoing what is evil in his eyes,

(12:05):
you know, you struck down youriot a hits a tie with the sward
and took his wife to be your ownyou killed him with the sward of
the Ammonites. Now, the swardwill never depart from your
house because you despise theLord and took the wife of Uriah
the Hittite to be your own. Thisis basically what the Lord is
saying, because he told Nathanto tell David but the fact that

(12:29):
the Lord trusted Nathan withthis information, and David knew
that Nathan was a prophet. Sowhat made this information more
relevant to what took place atthis time, Nathan is basically
still telling David like, youknow, this is what the Lord
says, out of your own household,I'm going to bring calamity on
you before your very eyes, Iwill take your wives I will give

(12:52):
them to one who is close to you.
And he will sleep with yourwives in broad daylight. You did
it in secret, I will do this inbroad daylight before all Israel
like then one thing about Inoticed about the Lord and His
Bible is he don't play. He'llplay no games. That's what they
say fear the Lord because youknow when he brings wrath on

(13:12):
you, it is no joke and in it andit has a way of gracefully
breaking what should have notbeen done like you get a clearer
understanding how God operateslike to win with the Lord, you
need to really be one with theLord. And it's very complicated
if you don't build thisrelationship, this is a building

(13:34):
relationship thing until the dayhe calls you home because he has
to order your steps. So youcan't just be healed one day and
not ask for healing a next dayor like you have to constantly
be building building buildingand so what I noticed about the
Lord is that when he bring wrathhim playing Okay, he bought he
bought he bought to take his ownson he liked look since you did

(13:56):
what you did. Obviously there'sconsequences and karma behind
that the Lord just works inmysterious ways. And he see for
it however he sees best fit orhow she ever sees this this
however you want to identify thecreator of the universe. Davis
says hey, Nathan, I oh my god, like I have sinned against the
Lord. like cheese. What did I dobasically? And then they the

(14:20):
reply, like Yeah, the Lord hastaken away your sin. So you're
not going to die because youknow the Lord forgive you for
your sins for sure. But becauseby doing this, you have shown
utter contempt for the Lord, theson born to you shall die. So
you and Bathsheba already gotdown and got pregnant. That was

(14:43):
Uriah his wife, the son that wasto be born to Bathsheba
obviously but belong to Davidbasically. So after Nathan had
gone home, the Lord struck thechild that Uriah wife had born
to David and he became very sickif he became ill he became sick.
So David prayed. He pleaded, hebegged God don't take his son

(15:05):
away. Please don't do this. Youknow, like, I've sinned. You
I've wronged you. I'm sorry. I'msorry. I'm
sorry, basically. And God, it'slike it already happened. I
already felt what I was going todo. You already did what you
did. It is what it is. I forgiveyou. But the consequences is

(15:25):
this. The son showed i David wasbegging he spent nights laying
on the floor and a cloth sacklike a pallet. He made his
pallet on the floor, make itmake sense to us. He made a
pallet on the floor, he slept hefast, he didn't eat, he prayed.
He begged and he cried, youknow, basically servants, his
people, everybody stood by hisside, he would not eat any food,

(15:49):
he would not get up, no,nothing. He stayed there. And he
did this for days. Now on theseventh day, the son actually
passed away, they was afraid totell David that the son passed
away. So David realizes that, you know, they're chatting and
he's like, Well, you know, didmy child die, they were scared
to tell them because theythought that he would act out of

(16:10):
desperation, they thought hewould do something crazy. But
our real reality, David was veryhumble. At that point, he
realized what he's done, he knewthat he cannot change God's
mind. You know, as much as hewanted to, he couldn't even go
to his son to make him better.
There was nothing that theycould have did at this time,
that could have stopped thisaction of the Lord, because of

(16:32):
what David does. And it speaks alot to me. It says a lot to me.
When I look at karma in life, Ilook at you know, the
consequences of people, thefruit that we bear, you know how
our lives end up our turn up, orwhatever. It's like, God
definitely forgives us for oursins. But if we look at our
lives, and we see somethingfalling apart, or we see

(16:52):
something happening that hasconsequences to what we have
done, when we went against theLord, our sinned against the
Lord, it really says a lot tome. And it makes me understand
and realize how he uses ourstories to tell another story.
So here he is using David'sstory to tell me that when God
gives you everything, and if youfeel like he ain't giving you

(17:17):
enough, simply, all you have todo is go to him and ask for
more. He is a giving God I gaveyou your Masters House I gave
you all the wives I had, thiswould have been too little for
you, I would have even given youmore, but you despise me, you
went in contempt, you use yourpower to do something very

(17:39):
wicked, which you should havenever done. I've done this, I
can see how this story unfold. Ican see that, you know, I have
tried to use sometimes maybe mylooks beauty, my ways. My
conversation I've tried to whatGod has given me has was not
enough. I couldn't ask for more.

(18:02):
But instead, I go around him andtry to finesse the situation
which I shouldn't do that. And Ican see how some consequences
has took place in my life wherethings have unfolded in a way
that I didn't see coming. But Iknow that the Lord was like, you
know, karma, karma karma has tohit. So he's on the seventh day
the child died. And they wereall afraid to tell him David

(18:25):
noticed that his attendants werewhispering among themselves, and
he realized the child was dead.
So he asked them, you know, is achild dead? And they replied to
him, like, Yes, he is dead. Soat that point, David thing gets
up, he showers he lotions, hisbody, he puts on clean clothes,
he shaves you do everything thathe needs to be he went into the
house of the Lord, and Heworshiped so before he ate and

(18:47):
did anything so the child died.
Then David got up from theground. After he had washed put
lotion on changed his clothes.
He went into the house of theLord and worship that says a
lot. It's like what your sonjust passed away? And shouldn't
you still be laying on the floorfast and crying? It's like, but

(19:08):
at that point, he's like, whatis done already done. I must get
up and worship God. I must getup and repent, I must get up and
move forward. Because I'vesinned in the Lord's eyes. And
I've done this the Lord hastaken away my sin. He's already
forgiving for my sins. My son, what is there for me to do more?

(19:31):
Will I stop worshiping the Lord?
Because my consequences thattook place know where the Lord
stop given to me because of myconsequences that took place.
No, actually, life continues tomove forward. David got up he
washed himself. He put on lotionhe put on clothes and he went to

(19:52):
worship the Lord in the house.
He worship this speaks to mebecause in times when I don't
get my way Er, I feel like somethings have fallen apart, I get
discouraged to worship the Lord.
But the Lord is telling me toworship Him in all areas, every
time and every place of my life.
When something goes wrong, Ishall worship him. When

(20:17):
something goes right, I shouldworship him. When I'm standing
in a hallway, waiting for thenext door to open, I should
worship him. When I'm on myknees not knowing what to do,
and I can't move, I shouldworship him at all times of my
life, I should get up andworship Him at whatever place
when David was on a sack of thefloor fasting, he was

(20:40):
worshipping him, when he got upto clean himself to go into the
Lord's house, he worshipped Him.
So it really says a lot to methat you know, no matter what, I
shall worship the Lord, the Lordis my Savior. He's the Creator
of all things. So I shouldworship the Lord. And that's

(21:00):
just what he said to me. Now, Idon't know what the Lord telling
you and show business, you cango ahead and listen to the Lord,
how you choose to I am nottelling you what the Lord is
telling you. I'm telling youwhat the Lord is telling me, I
shall worship the Lord at alltimes of my life, just like
David David made a mistake.
consequences happen. Karma tookplace, he got up and he still
worship the Lord. I respect thatI respect a lot. And again,

(21:21):
that's just me. That's mybusiness. So he went into the
house of the Lord and worship.
Then he went to his own house, and I his requests, they served
him food, and he ate, not attheir request, it was at his
request, he was ready to eat.
His attendance was like, Yo,he's trippin. Because Why are
you acting this way? When yourson was sick, and Ill you laid

(21:44):
on the floor, you fast you didnot eat, you did not want to
speak to us on the thing. Butnow that your son is dead, you
get up and eat. And he like, while the child was still alive.
I fasted and wept. I thought, who knows? The Lord may be
gracious to me, and let thechild live. But now that he is
dead, why should I go on a fastthing? Can I bring him back to

(22:07):
life? No, I will go to him inhis grave, but he will not come
to me. I will go to him whilehe's still alive. But he was
still sick, he could not therewas nothing that we could do. So
then David comforted his wife,Bathsheba, because they both
knew what was going down. Andthen he went, and he made love

(22:30):
to her. But the thing is, hedidn't die from what took place.
God didn't allow the child tolive a long and prosperous life.
And that's because that baby wasmade through sin. It was made
through an awful sin thatshouldn't ever took place. In
the eyes of the Lord. The Lordhas every right to do what he

(22:50):
wants for his children. The Lorddidn't allow the child to live a
prosperous life. And some mayargue and disagree that the Lord
should have let that child livesbecause the child was innocent.
But if you realize how the childwas made, you realize the life
the child would have had, that'snot a way of the Lord, that was
not a right way. So it evenbrings knowledge to me why not

(23:12):
everybody can make it in life, why every child does not had the
opportunity to grow a prosperouslife or to live, you know, in a
fully grown awareness life. Goddoes what he wants with his
children. And he knows thereason behind what he allows to
happen in our lifetime. I can'tspeak on people situation and

(23:36):
say, You should trust God inareas that you don't I speak on
it for me and say that I wouldtrust God in areas that I'm not
familiar with. Just like I trustGod in areas that I am familiar
with, because God created allthings, including me, and
anything that will come from me.

(23:58):
And that's how it's so importantto put God first and then let
the things come after. And Istill battle with this. I'm just
like everybody else. I am not aperfect human, I would never be
a perfect human, but in God'seyes on perfect to use according
to His plan, and what he wantsme to do in this life. So I look

(24:19):
to him to realize certain thingsthat took place in the Bible
that still take place today inthe eyes of us. I see how God
operates. He is not one to playwith. You either get with God or
you get with the world and Godhas a set up where he takes you
on a narrow path and only you onthat narrow path will be

(24:42):
operated by God to let him useyou the moment you try to go off
the path or go into a differentdirection with the case you're
no longer allowing God to useyou things can happen. You're
unprotected. You're not guidedyour footsteps hurting are
ordered your ways of seeing lifeand seeing the past will become

(25:05):
darkened. You don't get to seeclearly because God is the
light. And he's the way and he'sthe truth. I like to think of
this story. As God forgaveDavid. He allowed him to bear
another child with Bathsheba, especially what was his wife,
but the consequences that tookbefore this was able to happen,

(25:27):
God they'll allow grace andmercy one David and David still
worship God after what tookplace. I can only imagine back
in that time how vital thisstory was. And this is just a
story being told to us so I'mjust deciphering the story. I
really don't know for sayeverything that took place but I

(25:49):
can just only imagine how anhumbling experience it became
for David to see all this Davidcoffered, his wife Bathsheba. He
went to her he may loved her andshe she gave birth to a son and
they named him Solomon. The Lordloved him. And because the Lord
loved him, he said work throughNathan the prophet to name him
Jetta diet. Meanwhile, Joyfought against Rabab, the

(26:12):
Ammonites and Kapha at the Royalcitadel. Joab does send message
to David saying, Ihave fought against Rabat and I
take it as water supply. Now youbetter muster up your team and
let's stop the rest of thetroops and come over here in the
safest city and capture it.
Otherwise, I will take the cityand it will be named after me
Joanne David like oh, no, no,no. So he mustered up his
troops. And he came over toRabat and he attacked and

(26:35):
captured it. He then took thecrown from the king's head, and
he placed it on his head. And itwas real beautiful. It was a
nice crowd with big diamonds init, and all that good stuff. And
David was able to capture takeover the Ammonites or whatever,
David took a great quantity ofplunder from the city. And he
brought out the people who werethere consigning them to labor

(26:56):
with saws and with iron pigs andaxes. So he basically made them
work. And he made them work atbrickmaking. And then David did
this to all the Ammonite town, then him and his entire army
return back to Jerusalem. Andthat was the end of our
chapters. He got up from hisdepression after everything that
took place. But wow, oh my God,what an amazing, amazing story.

(27:20):
Somebody in our days todaybasically could have destroyed
the evidence with an abortion.
Basically what David did withBathsheba and Uriah simply
easily made a mistake he couldhave that she would go get
abortion that would have been inour days, and a year I would
have never found out the sonwould have never been born, the
child would have never died. SoDavid has his own cover up plan
instead. And because he had hisown cover a plan things took a

(27:41):
left turn, it didn't go asplanned. What ensues is a
classic case of one crimeleading to another right and so
in the end, David breaks thesixth, seventh, ninth and 10th
commandment for his loyaltywhich Uriah is murdered, and
many other Israelites fall withhim jacked up right, the story

(28:03):
of David's infidelity might haveended there and probably would
have except for one, pretend inhis centers at the close of the
chapter of 11. The Lord let itbe known that what David did is
pleased him the next chapterfollow what the Lord did with
David of his displacement. I'mso happy that we got a chance to

(28:24):
go into chapter 12 Because itgave us the ideas of how those
so in this dramatic scene, Davidgreatness shows itself he could
have Nathan killed or he couldlaugh and toss the profit out of
the palace. But David knowsNathan speaks for God and what
may be the greatest moment ofhis life. He admits that he have

(28:45):
sinned against the Lord. And inhis immediate confession, Davis
shows what makes him a man afterGod's own heart is because he
knew and he took accountabilityof what he had did by
displeasing the Lord and hey,you have sinned against him to
appreciate David's confession,we only need to think of the

(29:07):
response of recent leaders, ourpeople in today's time, that's
how you're going to appreciatewhat David did confessing after
Nathan spoke to him. And yes, hecould have had Nathan killed and
he could have kicked Nathan out,but he knew that Nathan was a
prophet. Although forgivenesscomes in an instant, the
consequence of David's actionsflagged to the kingdom for

(29:30):
generations. And that's becauseGod said the sward will never
leave your household. It's likeonce you go against God, God has
every right to do whatever hewants with you, period. But we
do know and kings David'shousehold, it was calamity. It
was a mess. It wasn't the bestIt was crazy. The question is
how do you instinctively reactwhen someone confronts you over

(29:55):
your wrong door? Do you blow updo you get off Raizy do you go
into defense? Or do you admit, like David did and say, you
know, I've sinned against theLord, I shouldn't have done
that. I know before, when I'vegot confronted, I never was a
big fan of constructivecriticism. I never, I never
really was until I realized whatit could do to potentially help

(30:16):
me grow. I didn't like when Iwas told that I was doing
something wrong, sayingsomething wrong or acting out in
another way, because I didn'treally care about anybody else's
opinion on my life, it did notmatter. But what I started to
care about was how God see meand how I will react towards God
and what I would do and his eye.

(30:37):
And that became a walking inrelationship with God and what
that meant to me. In reality, prior before my walk with
Christ, I would not accept noone telling me that I did
something wrong, or that I wasmoving wrong or acting wrong,
like I will literally dismissedthem on my life, like get on my
life, you can't tell me what todo now that I started to walk

(30:58):
with Christ. If I'm told medoing something can get a
reaction from me, I tried topray first, even if it's praying
to my mind, I tried to allow Godto speak to me. So I could use
the right words, I tried to takeon constructive criticism in a
way that God sees me. And so ifsomething is brought to me
brought to my attention, then Itake it to God, and then I let

(31:20):
God dissect it. And then I lethim insert me the things that I
should have and should not have.
I think what people today arenowadays, they're looking for
people to operate their lives, instead of allowing God to
operate our lives. And I saythis to say that we're all
looking for someone to relateto, to feel like, oh, I need to
be like this person, or I needto act like this person, I need

(31:41):
to talk like this person, or Ineed to think like this person.
But in all reality, all we allneed to do is get into our
Bibles and let God use usindividually. And that way, you
know, if somebody is telling yousomething wrong, or telling you
something, right, youimmediately could take that to
God and let God move that inyour life. I think a lot of
people get so caught up andtrying to play God and be God,

(32:02):
that we forget that we actuallyhave a creator that we all can
go to individually, and how I goto God may not be the same way
how you go to God, but itdoesn't make it wrong, and it
doesn't make it right, and how Ireact to certain things should
be how I will react to what Godtells me. I tried to take all of

(32:24):
my wrongdoings or even if I'mgetting told that I'm doing
something wrong, I just try totake that to God. That's my
reaction. Instinctively, I trynot to get so defensive, because
I don't know the other person'smotive. Like I don't know, where
did that information come fromfully, or whatever. So I like
try to go and pray about it,then I can react to it. Now, I

(32:49):
haven't always been this way. Ihad a quick fast reaction to
certain things. Again, I used toput up a big defense or I will
simply just remove myself from aperson's life, our situation or
anything like that, if I wasbeing told something and I think
that's called constructivecriticism, nobody really could
take our handle constructivecriticism, everybody operates
different, but for me is takingwhat I know what I don't know to

(33:13):
God, taken my wants and my needsto God, taking my joy and my
fear to God taken my life, myplans, my goals to God, and then
allow him to operate and whatare my steps accordingly, acts
for certain things at certaintimes. And I pray for certain
people while I'm praying formyself, not such just that is

(33:37):
just honoring God for just whohe is, you know, what he's done,
how he is, how he acts and howHe disciplines how he breaks me
down gracefully, how he shows mehow imperfect I am, but perfect
enough to be used having thatrelationship with God and it
just all falls to just having arelationship with God. And

(33:57):
that's what the story remindsme. But yes, guys, this story
relates to all of us. It'simportant for us to have that
relationship with God so thatwhen we go through our life
stories that God can workthrough us and we can hear from
God, even if he sends somebodylike Nathan, you know, you're
wrong, you know, you're wrong, you can take accountability and
things like that. So I reallyappreciate this story opened up

(34:20):
for me where I can see how I'vedone some things wrong. And you
know how God has given me gracein certain areas just like David
he gave David and Bathshebagrace and allowed them to make
love and bear another Netherchild which was there. It didn't
come from a scheme or scam andthat child was born was named

(34:41):
Solomon. I don't know thestories of Solomon yet, but I'm
very excited to go into thestories when I do get there. And
