certain uncertain about stepping
into your business calling, especially when it comes to

We are diving into why you'recalled to sell and how embracing
your purpose can transform theway you approach your business.
(01:02):
So if you are ready and you wantto learn how to sell with
confidence and just why it isthat as Christians, we are
called to sell.
It is our calling.
This is for you.
So if you're ready, let's pray,you guys.
Heavenly Father, thank you forevery person listening to this
(01:24):
right now.
Lord, I praise you for you theunique gifts and talents you've
placed within each and every oneof them.
Father, you've called them tobuild, to create, and to serve,
not just with their hands, butwith their hearts and their
businesses.
Lord, I ask that you open theirhearts today to receive the
truth that they are not onlyallowed to sell, but you have
(01:48):
called them to sell.
You've called them to step intothe marketplace and share what
you've given, given them, givento them with others.
God, I pray that you wouldremove any guilt, fear, or doubt
that they may carry around theidea of making money.
Father, help them understandthat profit is a tool.
(02:09):
It is a tool to serve others, tobless their families, and to
further your kingdom.
Let them see their business asan extension of your mission and
let them walk in obedience towhat you've called them to do.
Lord, I pray for the courage tostep out in faith even when it
feels uncomfortable.
Help them to see that steppinginto their calling fully is not
(02:31):
about pride, but rather aboutstewarding what you've entrusted
to them.
Remind them that when they serveothers with their gifts, they
honor you.
Father, give them clarity, confidence, and a boldness to
move forward, knowing that youare with them every step of the
way.
I ask that you would open doorsof opportunity that no one else
(02:54):
can shut, and give them favor inthe eyes of their clients, their
customers, and within theircommunity.
Let their businesses be areflection of your love, your
grace, and your goodness.
May their work be an act ofworship and may everything that
they do be done with excellence, integrity, and just a complete
(03:15):
unwavering faith in you, Lord.
Thank you for your incredibleplans that you have for their
lives.
Lord, we trust you with theoutcome and we surrender all of
our plans to you.
In Jesus' name we pray.
Amen.
Hey, hey, hey! All right, let'sbegin.
(03:38):
So if you've ever wonderedwhether it's okay to sell what
God has called you to create, Iwant to set you free from that
today.
That disbelief that asChristians we cannot sell, we
cannot charge, we cannot makemoney.
You are called to sell.
(04:00):
And I know that sounds strangeat first, but selling is
something that manyentrepreneurs wrestle with,
especially Christianentrepreneurs.
It feels like something's sosacred or personal, but I want
you to understand this.
Understand this, guys.
God did not give you a gift orthis business plan just to stay
(04:23):
hidden and tucked away.
You are called to share withothers.
And yes, that means you're goingto have to sell.
I know we're not in the in thebusiness to make money, it is
our calling, but we do havebills to pay.
We have to sell in order to keepdoing our purpose, in order to
(04:48):
fulfill our mission.
This is our calling.
So let's start with thefoundation.
Business is not just a job orjust a side hustle.
It is it's an assignment fromGod.
You were literally created withthis unique skill set, these
unique talents and solutionsthat is it's going to impact
(05:12):
those around you.
There's people praying for whatyou have, and you are too scared
to get yourself out there anduse those gifts and turn them
into a business.
You are fulfilling the callingthat God placed on your life.
And this is not just aboutprophets, it's about purpose.
Let's let's sit let's sit onthis for a moment.
(05:35):
Let's anchor into Romans 12 6.
If you have your Bible, open itup to Romans 12 6.
It says, We have different giftsaccording to the grace given to
each of us.
Those gifts, they are meant tobe shared, and that includes
sharing them in a way thathonors God.
(05:56):
And yes, that involves selling.
You have to sell.
Selling is it's a service, salesis a service, and when we think
of sales, it's easy, especiallyin the online industry, to think
of pushy sales tactics andmanipulative strategies.
(06:17):
I can't talk tonight.
Manipulative strategies, butthat's not what we're going to
talk about here.
We do not share manipulativestrategies on this podcast.
If you are new, we do not dothat on here.
We are in the kingdom of God.
Sales is a service.
Selling isn't about convincingsomeone to buy something they
don't need.
(06:37):
It's about offering somethingthat will genuinely help heal or
improve their life.
You are serving people.
You're serving people by givingthem an opportunity to
experience transformation, whether that's in the form of a
product, form of a service, formof a just a solution.
(06:59):
You have the solution to theirproblem.
And when you sell from thatplace of integrity and faith and
within your values, you areproviding a valuable service to
those who actually need it.
We don't sell to people whodon't need our services.
Not everybody needs what it isthat you sell, and that's okay,
because there's people out therewho do, which is why we do not
(07:23):
waste our time convincing peopleto buy something they do not
need because that'smanipulative, it's icky, it's
gross, and we just don't do it.
We are not pushy.
We do not push in this podcast.
I do not teach you to push.
So if something feels off inyour sales strategy, it's
probably because you're beingpushy or you're being
manipulative, and we need toshake that.
(07:43):
So, anyways, um I could talkabout this forever.
Um, but profit is it's a tool,it's not a sin.
We are in we're not in this, like I said, to make money, but
we are money is a byproduct ofsell of sales.
(08:05):
It's a byproduct of how manypeople you are helping.
And a lot of Christianentrepreneurs struggle with the
idea of making money.
We have been taught that thepursuit of profit and sales is
selfish, it's greedy, but that'sjust not true.
Scripture literally tells usthat God gives us the ability to
(08:26):
produce wealth, not so we canhoard it, but so we can steward
it well.
God wants to give his childrenmoney so that we can do good
things with it.
Profit is a tool that enablesyou to support your family, to
continue to fund this vision, this mission of yours.
It it allows you to blessothers, it allows you to just
(08:50):
continue to grow your businessto serve more people.
God gives you the ability tomake money, but it is up to you
to use it for his kingdompurposes.
The temptation is real to shrinkback and avoid selling because
it feels uncomfortable orbecause we don't want to hear or
(09:15):
be that person who talks aboutmoney.
But here's the truth.
Here's the truth, you guys.
Not stepping into your callingfully is actually being
disobedient.
You are not being obedient toGod's purpose for you.
You are being disobedient, youare not surrendering, you're not
allowing yourself to fully stepinto your calling.
(09:38):
You don't need to wait for thatpermission, you don't need to
hide behind a humble excuse.
When you feel called to sell, you step out in that obedience
and you sell.
Whether you're sitting on anairplane and you're talking
about your products to theperson beside you because you
feel that nudge from God going,Hey, that person needs what
you're selling, chances are theyneed what you're selling.
(09:59):
And to be truthful, I'veactually had that exact same
situation happen to me, which isprobably why it just popped in
my head now.
When I was selling a productpreviously to this business, I
was talking just to a personbeside me on the plane, had a
casual conversation, and I waswe were talking about fitness,
(10:21):
and I ended up offering themwhat it was that I was selling,
and they ended up signing up andselling, and they were a
fantastic team member and itchanged their life, yada yada
yada.
Not the point of this, but thepoint of this story and this
example is that if you feel thatnudge to step out and sell, you
(10:41):
don't need that permission, youdon't have to have that, you
know, hide behind that humbleexcuse.
If you feel called to sell, stepout and talk to that person,
step out and share what it isthat you offer because you might
be that person that they havebeen praying for, you might be
the solution that they have beenpraying for.
And if you be if you lead thatthat situation in disobedience,
(11:09):
you're not answering theirprayers, and that that's sad.
That's really sad.
So let's just let's step out inobedience, let's get
uncomfortable because selling isuncomfortable, it's a skill.
It has taken me so long tomaster sales, and there's still
times when I'm uncomfortable,it's constantly growing and I'm
(11:31):
molding just like you.
But selling is a skill you needto sell in order to step into
your calling.
God is calling you to business, and selling is part of owning a
business.
That is how you honor God.
You honor God by trusting thatHe has equipped you for this
(11:53):
work, He's called you into thisbusiness, and you are going to
how do I word this?
You're just you're called you'recalled to sell.
Stop questioning if you're ableto sell because you can.
Everybody can sell.
It's a skill, it's somethingthat is learned.
So it's not just about makingmoney, but it's to serve, it's
(12:17):
to grow, it's to impact otherswith the gift that God has given
you.
So stop seeing sales as a burdenand start seeing as part of your
kingdom mission.
You are a kingdom-ledentrepreneur.
You are listening to thispodcast because you are a
kingdom-led entrepreneur.
And if your business is one ofthe ways God is using it to
(12:38):
fulfill your purpose in thisworld, then get out there and
sell.
Get out there and sell.
Whether it's an Instagram post,whether it's a live stream,
whether it's a conversation inperson, whether it's an email,
it's a whatever it is, get outthere and sell.
You cannot be the answer tosomeone's prayers if you are
(13:01):
standing back and just hopingand praying that this business
works out, hoping and prayingthat your clients come to you,
hoping and praying that you makea sale today.
You have to step out in boldconfidence and share what it is
that you have to offer.
So if this episode spoke to youand you are ready to step into
(13:24):
your calling and grow yourbusiness with that confidence, I
really, really, really, trulywant to help you and support
you.

surrender.
