On this episode Cheyenne describes her experience of being placed in the foster care system at the age of 13. Being the watchful sister to her younger brothers transformed her childhood to adulthood in an instant. In spite of all the hardships she endured, her faith enabled her to thrive within a space that most do not. Cheyenne’s advise to all considering fostering an older youth, “It’s important to just love them where they are at.”
