To start the New Year right, it only makes sense to prioritize what’s most important, and our most important possession is the life in the soul. That makes Salvation and Eternal Life through Jesus Christ the greatest gift that can be received and the greatest treasure that can be cherished. The ordinance ceremony of Baptism is to follow after the moment of salvation. Baptism is not to be confused with Salvation; it must not come after salvation or before. Only people who profess to be saved believers in Jesus Christ can partake in Baptism.  In this sermon, we will clear the air on some controversies involving Baptism and identify “the authoritative voice” that declares how baptism should be performed.
