My guest Nordelis Vega was my youngest guest to date, a high school student at the time during an earlier iteration of my podcast I called, "The Good Vibes Project."
Her perspective and discussion was so impressive, I believe her thoughts can benefit so many people and everyone should hear them. As we get older I believe the best wisdom we can show is knowing that we can learn from those around us, both older and younger.
In this episode, Nordelis Vegas talks about filling up, "the social battery," and the work she's done to engage young people by founding the Dutchess County Council of Teens in New York state.
We discuss the work she's doing, bringing attention to mental health, especially in schools, and why she started in the Girl Scouts.
