Speaker 1 (00:42):
Hello guys, how are you doing today, on this fine
day?
My name is Amadou.
Amadou the Great.
Welcome to Fan Faces.
Plus A new name and a new wayof thinking, and we're looking
to hit the ground running.
Hit a whole bunch of topics thatwe weren't too flexible on in

(01:03):
past episodes, but we're goingto do them justice.
Moving forward, we're going totalk about a little bit of
politics, a little bit of popculture, a little bit of sports.
We're going to mix it all inman.
It's going to be great.
You out there that's watchingthis, that's listening to every
episode that we're doing, pleaseshare, like tell a friend to

(01:24):
tell a friend, and make surethat you leave a comment if you
have any questions about any ofthe topics that I jump into
today.
All right, some of the topicsthat I will be jumping into you
got the NBA ConferenceChampionships, the Eastern

(01:46):
Division versus the WesternDivision, and you got Puff Daddy
and the family, everythingthat's going on with them, and
you got also Congress, theRepublican side of it, anyways,
all that's going on with them.
Yes, I'm a little bit biasedthere, but don't be afraid I'll
be completely fair.
Biased but fair.

(02:07):
All right, let me jump intothese topics.
First topic at hand got theWestern Conference Finals going
on between the Dallas Mavericksand the Minnesota Timberwolves
the stars in these games.
You got Kyrie Irving, you gotLuka Doncic that's from the

(02:27):
Dallas Mavericks.
Then you've got Anthony Edwards, you've got Carl Anthony Towns,
you've got Rudy GobertDefensive Player of the Year.
Rudy Gobert, anthony Edwardsand Carl Anthony Towns just came

(02:54):
off of a fresh Game 7 win overthe defending champions, the
Denver Nuggets, and they beatthem, I mean, I'd say, easily.
It seemed like they were goingto win because the way the
second half started there theywere imposing their will
defensively and offensively.
Shots were falling.
Carl Anthony Towns was playinghis game, anthony Edwards was
playing his game, rudy Gobertwas blocking shots, was putting
shots in sinking threes.

(03:15):
It was a pretty good game.
But for the people out therethat didn't believe in the
Timberwolves winning, I thoughtthey had a pretty good chance
because for you to come into thedefending champ's home, beat
them handily twice, in blowoutfashion, two times.
You know that had to sendshockwaves through the league

(03:37):
and for me I felt that thosewins depicted what was going to
happen, the trend that was goingto take place, moving forward
and as it was shown last night,on Sunday.
That went very well for them.
The Sembawolves came through, showed out and did their thing.
They played offensivebasketball.

(03:59):
Well, everybody did what theywere supposed to do their jobs
and on the defensive side, theycrashed the boards and they
played team defense.
They stopped the nuggets andthey stomped nuggets.
They stomped them out.
Basically, they gave them noshot at all for coming in as a
defending champ and I meanthat's a shock to most people.

(04:19):
But I don't believe that shouldbe a shock to most people.
The reason being, to repeat as achampion is pretty hard.
You come in and you're like, okay, I'm going to take it easy,
I'm not going to give it all myeffort, while everybody else is
giving you 110% and if theybeat you it's a big deal.
But if you beat them it's not abig deal.

(04:39):
And this is a wake-up call ofsorts for Djokic.
You didn't win this year andyou probably thought you know I
can go back and repeat.
I'm, you know, the league's MVP.
And if I'm the league's MVP, Imean I could turn it on whenever
I want, and that wasn't thecase.
You can't turn it on wheneveryou want.
You turned it on a little toolate and your team lost.

(05:02):
And now your team's going toCancun Bye-bye.
So you know, the Timberwolvescame in.
They came in with a game planand they executed.
They stopped Gordon from doingwhat he wanted to do and all the
role players with the Nuggets.
They didn't do that well.
But what are you going to do?
Pack your bags, go to Cancun,go on vacation and get rehabbed

(05:27):
up and get ready for next seasonwhenever the season starts.
But the team that I'm surprisedto see in the Western
Conference Championship I mean,they're good.
But Kyrie, without LeBron hehadn't done much.
So I wasn't expecting Kyrie andLuka Doncic to do much further,
even make it to the conferencechampionships, and they did.
And that's kudos to them andkudos to their you know, playing

(05:51):
well together, kyrie.
You know he's around a talentedLuka Doncic and I guess that
helps his game, because hedoesn't have to.
You know, he doesn't have to bethe main reason why they win.
He can do what he does to bethe main reason why they win.
He can do what he does and thatis just enough for him to.
You know, that's just enoughfor him and the team to escape

(06:12):
on by and make it to theconference championship.
Luka Doncic played his game.
He's a talented offensiveweapon.
He did his thing and that's howcome they ended up in this
position that they're in, whichis pretty cool.
Kyrie could get an opportunityto win a ring without LeBron
James, which would cement hislegacy as one of the great

(06:33):
guards of our time.
I always thought Kyrie was anawesome, awesome player, awesome
ball handler.
I never thought that he couldcarry a team and he hasn't, but
he plays a great role as anumber two which helped catapult
the Dallas Mavericks to theWestern Conference Championships

(06:56):
.
All right, let's go on to theEastern side.
The Eastern side you got theBoston Celtics, jason Tatum and
company, and you got the IndianaPacers, tyree Halliburton and
company, and that's.
You know, that's an awesomematchup really.
Tyree Halliburton he's withCoach Rick Carlisle, who has
championship pedigree, who haswon a championship before, so he

(07:20):
could definitely lead a teamtowards a championship run, but
you know, they don't have thatsquad that they had.
They don't have the squad.
Carlisle doesn't have the squadthat he had when he won the
championship with Dirk Nowitzki.

(07:40):
Tyrese Halliburton is a star, but he's not quite there yet.
So the Boston Celtics may havea game on their hands due to
coaches having playoffexperience, having championship
experience.
But when it's all said and done, the Boston Celtics have more
talent than the Indiana Pacers.
So in that particular positionit's going to be a tough series.

(08:04):
They may even go to seven, butBoston may come out ahead, and
you know that's just how I seethe cookie crumbling.
But let's go back to theTimberwolves.
I do believe the Timberwolvescan make it to the NBA
championship as well, becausethe way they're playing when
they're on offensively, they'reon Defensively, they always try,
but offensively, when they'reon offensively, they're on

(08:25):
Defensively, they always try,but offensively when they're on
and they can put those twotogether.
They're definitely achampionship caliber and I
believe if the Timberwolves areto face the Boston Celtics, it
might be a tough game for Boston.
It might be a tough series forBoston.
All right, let's get on to thenext topic at hand.
Here we got Puff Daddy, diddy, brother Love.

(08:46):
A tape recently came out of himabusing his ex-girlfriend
Cassie Ventura.
There was a lawsuit, he settledand he said oh, you know all
the things that they're sayingabout me, that I did absolutely
not.
True, it's not me, I wouldnever do such things.

(09:06):
But, bro, the tape is out Now.
You're very remorseful.
You should have faced thisthing head on to start with.
They put out the tape so thatyou could face social justice.
And it's not looking good foryou.
Yes, you can apologize, butyou're going to have to give the
public some time.
That tape looked brutal.
If it was up to me I'd say takethe keys, throw that boy in the

(09:29):
clinker, take the keys and lockhim away for good.
But it's not up to me.
And the crazy thing is thatabuse charge has passed its
statutes of limitation.
So, due to the laws of the land, puffy's not going to jail.

(09:49):
He's not in charge for nothing.
The only thing that couldhappen is he, you know, loses
corporate sponsorships,corporate partnerships and
people just back away from himand he fades into the black.
He fades into black and for therest of his life he's living in
obscurity.
That's the only thing thatcould happen to him.
But I'm sure he has enoughmoney stashed away and he has
enough companies underneath himthat would stick with him for

(10:14):
him to be okay for the rest ofhis life and he has enough music
, catalogs and things that he'sinvested in to maintain his
lifestyle.
But this is not looking good atall in the court of public
opinion.
They're not paying us, butwe're here to put our two cents
in and my two cents.

(10:36):
That video looked brutal.
Man.
If they told you he did that,it's a different thing versus
you seeing what he did.
You seeing what he did changesthe whole story.
It made me I mean, my jawdropped.
I was like God damn, that thingis scary.
How could he do that?
Wow, bro.
But that's the thing.

(10:57):
When you get to a position ofhaving enough money to be able
to get away with anything, youuse that money to get away with
everything.
This tape wouldn't have came outhadn't had his house not been
houses not been raided.
The tape came out because hishouse was raided, because the
initial story was that, um, hehad, uh, he had paid security to

(11:17):
buy the tape off of them sothat the tape will never see the
light of day.
Any smart guy would have takenthat tape, destroyed it and
never, ever let it see the lightof day.
But you know guy would havetaken that tape, destroyed it
and never, ever let it see thelight of day.
But you know, when you havelots of money and you're like I
paid 50 grand for this.
I can't pay for anything elseto not happen to me, and I mean

(11:37):
living with that mindset can'tbe good for you, as you can see,
because the court of publicopinion is Pissed off at you
right now.
Puff Daddy, brother love, yougot 50 Cent running out here
like a madman just making fun ofyou, left right upside down,
which is crazy.
And then, to top it off, yourson, his son, puff Daddy's son,

(12:00):
brother love's son, puts out awhat's it called a diss track
against 50 Cent.
You better leave 50 Cent alone, man.
He has nothing to lose.
He doesn't even like his ownson.
You better leave 50 Cent alone, man.
He has nothing to lose.
He doesn't even like his ownson.
So you better leave 50 Centalone if you want to have a good
time in your life.
He doesn't even like his ownson.
So leave 50 Cent alone.

(12:22):
All right, let's touch into alittle bit of politics here.
You got Congress Sessionsturning out to be what's it
called?
Turning out to be like you'rein a set of Mean Girls.
You got Marjorie Taylor Greenejust trying to insult anybody as
much as possible.
It's my right, it's my freedomof speech to say whatever I want

(12:46):
.
However, I want.
That's not true.
It's your right.
Sure, it's your right.
But whatever you say, you haveto suffer the consequences of
the things that you say.
All right, you can't just goaround telling people that you
know their eyelashes are gettingin the way or they're this,
they're that, engaging in whatthey call personalities, and you

(13:07):
know you don't do that.
When they do the same thing toyou, you're like well, how dare
you?
You shouldn't do that to me,because I'm above it all.
Now.
You can't be going around doingthat.
You can't be going aroundtalking down to people.
You can't be going aroundtalking bad about people and
expecting nothing to happen toyou, whether it's words or
violence.
Something's going to happen.

(13:27):
And for people in Congress to bebehaving the way you are
behaving, marjorie Taylor Greene, it's insane.
You need to be courteous.
You need to show people alittle bit of respect, like they
show you.
If they disrespect you, thenfine, go at them.
But if they don't disrespectyou, stop disrespecting people.
Stop getting in people's.
What's it called?
Stop trying to stick it topeople.

(13:50):
What's it called?
Stop trying to stick it topeople, because you know you're
Donald Trump.
What's it called?
You're Donald Trump.
You're Donald Trump ally, youfeel that you could say whatever
you want, however you want, andthere's no consequences.
Only Trump really gets away withit.

(14:10):
Even now, though, he's notreally getting away with it.
He's stuck in courtrooms, stuckin trials, spending a lot of
money, getting taught a lessonthe American way, and the only
way Americans know how to teachyou a lesson is to take your
money away and punish you thatway, or put you in what's it
called and what's it called, andput you in courtrooms and have
you spend money, money, moneyuntil you run out of money.

(14:32):
So, marjorie Taylor Greene, leave people alone.
Stop getting into personalitieswith people and talking bad
about them and expecting nothing.
I mean expecting for them notto get back at you.
Now, when they called you ableach, blonde, butch, built
body woman, all of a sudden, that went viral, and that's not

(14:57):
a good look for you.
That's not.
You know what you want torepresent out there.
You are supposed to be theexample.
Set an example for yourconstituents.
Set an example for youraudience.
Stop talking bad about people.
Respect people so people canrespect you back, so you can be
looked up as a looked up at,looked up at, looked up at,

(15:18):
looked up as a role model Allright For Fan Faces Plus.
