Speaker 1 (00:16):
Thank you, hello, hello, welcome to another

(00:53):
episode of Fan Faces Plus withyour boy, amadou Amadou the
Great.
How are you doing today outthere, man?
Hopefully you're doing great.
You're doing fine.
You're manifesting greatnessinto the world.
Uh, come on with me, man, let'sgo for this ride, all right?
Today on fan faces plus, we gotuh, the nba playoffs, nba

(01:15):
championships, play championshipplayoffs between the dallas
mavericks and, uh, bostonceltics.
Things are going okay, so far,for one team anyways.
And also we'll speak on KaitlynClark and the Summer Olympics
and what she brings to thattable.
And also we'll be talking aboutthe two-party system, the rift

(01:39):
between the two parties, the twotiers of justice that we happen
to be experiencing in thissituation here.
So let's jump right into it,won't we?
To start off with the NBAplayoffs In so many words.
I watched the first game betweenthe Dallas Mavericks and the

(02:00):
Boston Celtics and from thatfirst game I'm like, wow, dallas
is in trouble.
The eye test.
Boston just popped off thescreen.
My preconceived notions fromthe beginning of the series.
I was thinking that I wasdefinitely thinking that you

(02:20):
know, dallas will come out likegangbusters and whoop on Boston.
But that is not the case at all.
Boston just came out andoverwhelmed Dallas on every
single level and I was just inshock and awe.
I didn't know what to think ofit.
I didn't know what to make ofit.
Boston defended Luka Doncic sowell.

(02:44):
It's like they're blitzing him.
Whenever Luka gets the ball, there's like three dudes all
around him, making all of hisother catch-and-shoot guys
irrelevant.
Luka's known to take on thetest from time to time where you
know you take a tough shot,he'll hit a tough shot and we'll

(03:04):
think nothing of it.
But in this series againstBoston, the Boston Celtics, the
Boston Celtics have Jalen Brown.
They have Jalen Brown, jasonTatum, christoph Porzingis
they're all just doing the work.
Everybody's just playing at anall-pro caliber level and that's

(03:24):
just insane.
Never in my wildest dreams did Ithink I would see this happen
to Kyrie and Luka in theplayoffs.
I thought, you know Kyrie andLuka would rise to the challenge
.
I thought for sure Luka wouldrise to the challenge and
execute on the offense anddefense, knowing what's at stake

(03:47):
here His legacy, his playoffprowess, his future here in
Dallas.
But I guess he's a one-trickpony Lots of offense, no defense
, and in basketball it's atwo-way street.
You need to play offense justas well as you play defense or
you'll become a liability.

(04:08):
And it's not easy to become aliability, but the Mavericks did
.
They wanted to start KyrieIrving.
They got the start, but Kyriedoes not play defense.
Luka doesn't play defense.
They're expecting all the otherguys on the squad to play
defense and they're gettingoverwhelmed by Boston guys on
the squad to play defense andthey're getting overwhelmed by
Boston Celtics.
A barrage of weapons, barrage,I tell you, barrage of weapons.

(04:31):
They're just coming at themleft, right, upside down, and
they're just hitting them onevery level, which is just
insane.
I never thought in my wildestdreams that, uh, the Dallas
Mavericks will be down 1-3against the Boston Celtics.
I thought at least this wouldbe a seven-game series, but

(04:52):
after watching game one, Ithought this was going to be a
gentleman's sweep for sure, andthat's the way it's heading in
my point of view.
Really, yes, christos Porzingisis hurt, but but Christos
Porzingis hurt, it doesn'tmatter.
Boston's still gonna come upbig and they're gonna probably

(05:12):
win the next and they're gonnawin, win it in game six and end
the series because, uh, dallasMavericks just can't stop him on
any level, christos, excuse me,dallas Mavericks cannot stop
him on any level.
Dallas Mavericks cannot stophim on any level and Luka Doncic
cannot expand his energy onoffense and then go back and be
great defensively.

(05:32):
Kyrie Irving has not had agreat series and he was never
known to be a great defensivestopper anyway.
So this series is done, as faras I'm concerned, over and out.
Kristaps Porzingis is really thex factor.
He came in and literally playedlike he didn't miss a beat,
played like he didn't have anytime off, he was just giving it

(05:55):
to Dallas.
So, luca, kyrie, pack your bags.
It's over and the next game nottoday, but in two days or so
it's over and done with.
You guys are going home.
Pack your bags, sad to say it,I don't bet.
So I picked you guys, I pickedthe Dallas Mavericks to win the

(06:16):
series with the seven-gameseries, but all hope is lost on
this end, man, I hope you guysdo well next year.
I hope you guys put together ateam and, uh, come out and do
some things and hopefully thewest, you know, come out the
west and represent the westagain next year.
But I don't know that that willhappen, because it's pretty
much been every year two newteams, two new teams.

(06:39):
So there's not much to say onthat subject, man.
But keeping it on the basketballtip, we got our lady Caitlin
Clark.
There's a lot of noise beingmade about her, you know, not
making the Olympic team.
For me it generally isn't a bigdeal that she didn't make the
Olympic team.

(07:00):
She wasn't the top to start itoff with.
She wasn't top 12.
So she didn't make the team.
And the people that are arguingfor her to make the team,
they're saying, oh, she bringsso much value to the team.
She could do this.
She could do that Monetarily, she could increase their sales,
she could increase theirnotoriety.
I don't buy that.
Typically on the Olympic level,it's more nationalism when it

(07:23):
comes to rooting for the UnitedStates.
The United States women'sbasketball squad is gonna get a
fan base, is gonna have a fanbase rooting for them,
regardless of who's on there,because there's nationalism,
this pride at stake here.
So everybody in America prettymuch would root for the United
States team on every level.
Women's soccer we go crazyduring the Olympics and during

(07:46):
the World Cup for women's soccerin America.
Men's basketball we go crazyduring the Olympics.
You know pretty much any sportthat America plays.
Men's soccer we're not eventhat good at men's soccer.
I mean, we've gotten better, asof late America's not that good
at men's soccer.
But bottom line is, when itcomes to playing on the national

(08:10):
stage, on the internationalstage, we've always shown our
pride as Americans to supportthe American teams.
We've always stepped up to theplate and came out in droves to
support the Americans.
So I really don't think it's abig deal that Kaitlyn Clark
didn't make it this year.
Maybe next time around, nextOlympic round, she'll make it

(08:31):
and if she does, it would bewell-deserved.
She would have played a buttoff.
She would have made a name forherself hopefully by then and
she could be there.
There's no talking points.
Other than she deserves it, shedeserves it and she should be
on the team.
Other than she deserves it, shedeserves it and she should be
on the team.
That's it.
Lock, step, key, put it all inplace.

(08:55):
So for me, not a big deal atall.
Nationalism over pride, right,we will support our own because
they are our own.
With or without Caitlin Clark, the American squad will be
supported regardless.
So that's my two cents, that'swhat I got to say on that.
Regardless.
So that's my two cents, that'swhat I got to say on that.
But let's go on to the popularculture topics.
Here we got Hunter Biden.
He recently got found guiltyfor having a gun and Donald

(09:18):
Trump recently got found guilty.
You know 34 counts found guiltyfor 34 counts found guilty for
what's a call for trying tomanipulate election documents so
that, so that he can givehimself I mean he paid off, he
paid off somebody and manipulatewhat is said on his documents

(09:39):
to hide the fact that he paidoff somebody not to have a
salacious story out about him, somebody not to have a salacious
story out about him.
And they found him guilty.
Since it is his first offense,he won't see any jail time
whatsoever and he wasn't broughtout in cuffs or anything like
that.
They just let him walk out, hunter Biden, I'm sure they just

(09:59):
let him walk out.
They're going to probably putthem on probation and you know
this, that and the third.
They're going to probably putthem on probation and you know
this, that and the third.

(10:20):
But naturally, any regularperson that's not up to that
tier the Hunter Biden, theDonald Trump level naturally,
when you get convicted, pariah, put cuffs on, you have like five
, six cops around you as ifyou're going to, you know, go
crazy and do something reallydangerous, which is not the case
at all, but for securityreasons.
They have so many cops aroundyou, they have so many law and
order personnels around you.

(10:40):
Just, you know, for the show, for the show and the two-tier
justice system that theRepublicans are complaining
about.
Oh, you know the New York age.
You plotted with Joe Biden tofind Donald Trump guilty.
What would be the reasoning ofthat?
What would be the point?
Donald Trump, they say, givesomebody terrible a rope and

(11:06):
they will always hang themselves.
Donald Trump has been given arope.
They don't have to do anything.
He keeps on doing goofy thingsto hang himself.
He keeps on putting his headwhere it doesn't belong, doing
things that he shouldn't bedoing, and, voila, he finds
himself in situations that heshouldn't be in.
So the two-tier justice system.

(11:28):
He's lucky he's on the otherside of that tier, because, for
an average guy like myself, Itold somebody that I interacted
with I was like hey, you bounceback, you bounce back real quick
and all of a sudden I foundmyself in hot water with HR.

(11:50):
I was like, actually, the exactstatement was hey, you will,
you'll be fine, since you'resemi-youngish.
You bounce back, you snap backreal quick and I made a hand
gesture and whoo, that should becalled sexual harassment.
Oh my God, the two-tier justicesystem.
Man, you guys that have money, you enjoy it.

(12:11):
Us, regular, average yo folksdon't get to enjoy that luxury.
If I smile at somebody wrongand I'm working, hr will and
that person doesn't like me, hrand that person tells HR human
resources will jump down mythroat like hey, what'd you do
that for?
We need to do an investigation.
How dare you?
This could be somethingdetrimental to somebody's

(12:33):
physical and mental health, andI'm like yo, it's not that
serious at all.
So Everybody that's out theretalking about two tiers of
justice the two tiers of justiceexist because you're broke, and
for the broke people we get tosuffer the most.
If you have money, you do notsuffer the egregious things that
they do to you, that they do tous.

(12:53):
If you're broke, they doegregious things to you.
If you're rich, you get to walkout free and go back to your
house and live your life untilwe meet again, until you meet
with your probation officer orthis, that and the third, via
Zoom or whatever, and noshackles on you.
But if you're broke, they'llput shackles on you and they'll

(13:13):
probably have you in prisonawaiting your sentencing.
So everybody that's talkingabout two tiers of justice
system get out of here, especially if you've got money,
especially if you are well-to-doFor the average Joe like myself
.
They'd punish me like I stolesomething, even if I didn't All
right.
