Sonic Smut Release Eye Bleach

In this episode, we talk with Mike, Alice, and Dave from Sonic Smut. We focused on their new album Eye Bleach which was recorded at the famed Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California. The same studio where Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age, Earthless, and other legends of the desert rock sound recorded. The band shares some excellent stories of working in the studio with David Catching (Rancho De La Luna), and engineer Andrew Smetek.

We also talked about keeping the creative flow going as well as imposter syndrome. We wrapped up with a quick bit on favorite holiday movies (Die Hard!!)

Sonic Smut’s Eye Bleach is available on Black Friday, November 28th. You can catch them live at the Paris Bar Detroit on that same night for their record release show. They are joined by the Idiot Kids who are also releasing their new INSTANTS album. Arrive early as Carbon Decoy opens the show
