Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey everybody, robert here.
I have been waiting to makethis announcement.
Scott, lee and I have beenprivy to some information about
what was going to be happeninghere prior to us being able to
talk about it publicly.
Good and bad news for the showthe foreign podcast here.

(00:25):
Lee our very own Lee, hasswitched jobs was kind of in
between jobs right now.
He was going through anapplication process and got
brought on by a, we'll say, alarge air carrier.
We don't really ever talk aboutLee's job in the past or in the

(00:49):
future as far as, like, whatthe actual company is, what the
company doesn't matter, it's alarge air carrier.
So yeah, it's exciting.
Lee's excited, we're excitedfor Lee.
What that means for the show isLee's going to be going through
the process of what they callit like in dock in the biz.
It's basically getting typed ona large aircraft, the largest

(01:11):
aircraft Lee has ever been typedon.
It is a multi-month process andat this point we don't know, if
none of us are as familiar withthat, what that looks like.
As far as being able to recordepisodes, scott and I are
certainly not able to recordepisodes on our own.

(01:32):
We have attempted it in thepast.
It's terrible.
I would rather just not releasecontent to you guys than have.
Scott and I try to make aneducational podcast for you,
ladies and gentlemen who listen.
So yeah, we're kind of in limbohere.
It may be up to a couple monthswhere we're silent on the show.

(01:58):
I'm not sure Lee is going tohave his equipment with him
during this process and we'regoing to try to, on the weekends
or when he has a chance, try todo some shows, but they're
certainly not going to be comingout as regularly as they have
been.
And then when you first get onboard with a major carrier, they

(02:25):
tend to work you a lot rightaway.
You're very low on theseniority list, so that is also
going to be interesting to tryto manage.
So right now we're kind of outof.
There's going to be one thatcomes out tomorrow, some extra
audio I had from a recording Igot some other little stuff.

(02:45):
They're not really episodes, but I hope you guys and gals
enjoy it.
We're going to try to put somestuff out there in the interim,
but that normal us doingepisodes, releasing them, filler
clips, releasing them, that, candice, that you've come

(03:06):
accustomed to if you're alongtime listener, that we were
not going to be able to maintainthat for a little bit here.
But yeah, I think overall it'sgoing to be really good for the
show because Lee's going to comeback, we're going to learn what
here a little bit, what thatinterview process is like for a
large air carrier, kind of whatthat INDoc is like, what it's

(03:28):
like getting typed and goingthrough that multi month
training for a big type ratingand a big plane.
So I know a lot of listenersare into that and that's like a
career goal for a lot oflisteners.
And even if that's not whereyou intend to go, we hopefully

(03:48):
will make it interesting.
I'm not interested in gettingan airline job personally, but I
am kind of interested in whatthat process is like and Lee's
going to have some insight intothat process because he'll have
just gone through it.
And then, yeah, instead ofLearJet stories it will be a

(04:09):
much larger jet stories for hiswork and kind of stuff he sees
and does, and it should be good.
It should be good for the show,it should be good long term for
the show.
It's certainly good for Lee,it's a step up, from what I
understand, job wise and, yeah,we're excited for him and we're

(04:29):
excited to get back into theshow, get the show back to
normal once we're through allthis.
But yeah, it's going to be alittle bit of radio silence here
for a little bit.
Yeah, that's all I can think ofto say Thank you for listening,
for the support over the years, and we fully intend to keep it

(04:50):
going when all this is done.
