Republican Congressman Don Bacon is not happy about the economic chaos that Donald Trump is causing, and he admitted during a CNN interview that he would like to take away Trump's power to enact tariffs. He specifically said that allowing Trump to do this at all was a "mistake." Those are strong words for a sitting Republican member of Congress, and Trump probably isn't going to be happy to hear that.
New Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney had harsh words for Donald Trump following Trump's decision to enact 25% tariffs on all automobile imports coming into the United States. Carney said that "nothing is off the table" at this point, and that Canada will be hitting America very hard and very fast in response. The problem that America has is that our leader launched a trade war with no protections in place for Americans, whereas Canada has a fund set up to protect their industries.
During a recent press conference that he held from the safety of a foreign country, Secretary of State Marco Rubio boasted about the fact that he has revoked the visas of over 300 foreign students - students that he referred to as "lunatics." This administration is out of control, and these people are innocent of whatever fake excuses that Rubio and Trump come up with.
Reporters and journalists were left shocked multiple times last week as a very confused and agitated Donald Trump couldn't answer basic questions. But these weren't "gotcha" questions - they were questions about well-known current events that Trump admitted to having absolutely no clue about. And when he did answer questions, his answers were direct contradictions of reality. The man's mental status needs to be at the forefront because he is barely able to function anymore.
