They ACT within the strategic context they’ve created for their business.
Tactics on their own lead to failure because on their own they have to strategic purpose.
Applying a “tactic of the day” such as Artificial Intelligence without a strategic framework to guide its use isn’t helpful to enhancing the effectiveness of an organization.
“Accidental success” does happen, but you don’t want to bet your future on it.
