Fearless Films Podcast is a weekly show where we walk through horror movies, breaking down the beats, discussing the lore and interesting trivia of all the best (and worst) in the horror movie genre. The show started as Pete, the horror buff, explaining the plots of horror movies to Kevin, the scaredy cat, who hates being scared but is intrigued by these modern mythologies. Kevin eventually retired from the podcast, but the show goes on! Pete is now joined by Sarah, who also loves horror movies, and they continue the tradition of explaining the scariest stories to all the scaredy cats out there, so they don't have to watch the movies.
This week, to celebrate the month of his birth, Pete picked another movie from his childhood that he definitely should not have been watching so young - John Carpenter's Vampires!
This late 90's western tells the story of a church-backed group of cowboys who hunt vampires across the United States. James Woods and one of the lesser Baldwin brothers must stop the bad guy from Karate Kid 3 before he unlocks a da...
Annabelle is back, and this time, she doesn't need any fancy subtitles! This week, Sarah breaks down the one that started us on this crazy doll train, the original Annabelle!
This entry finds the titular terror invading the home of a happy couple and their newborn babe. She gets up to her old antics and tries to steal and soul she can get her tiny wooden hands on.
Join us as we discuss magical old black ladies (and...

Pete talks us through this crazy film, which doesn't even feature any werewolf stuff until the half way point. So much is going on in this flick: a traumatized reporter, serial killers, occult book stores, hea...

This week, Sarah continues the long chronological trek across the Conjuring franchise and brings us Annabelle Creation! Witness the terrifying origin of the spooky doll that really should have just been a Raggedy Ann.

Another example of the most tense genre of horror - socially awkward horror! And just in time for April Fool's Day!!
This week, Sarah walks us through "I'm Just F*cking With You", which is part of Hulu's Into the Dark film series. A man traveling to a family wedding stops at a small motel for the night, and encounters that kind of jerk who keeps teasing and making jokes, but waves awa...
It's that time of year again. Time to celebrate St. Patrick's day with the best/worst tradition ever: a Leprechaun movie!!
Last year, Leprechaun went to the hood, and the studio liked it so much, they went back a second time! This week, Pete is discussing Leprechaun Back 2 The Hood, the follow-up that lacks any of the charm, humor, or self-awareness of its predecessor. This entry was so bad it put t...
Found Footage. Ancient Pyramids. Bad CGI. It's time for 2014's The Pyramid!
Sarah breaks down this 2014 film about a group of archaeologists who enter a newly discovered pyramid and find something waiting for them within. Follow along as they get picked off one by one, all while absolutely mangling Egyptian mythology.
Join us as we discuss breaking the rules of found footage, why Sphinx cat...
A movie so 2000's it has the year in the title!
This week Pete breaks down the rare 2000's horror movie that he actually enjoys - Dracula 2000! The master vampire (Gerard Butler) is resurrected in modern times, and it will take all of the shaky cuts and nu-metal we have to stop him. Featuring a packed cast of B-level celebrities and one pop singer.
Join us as we discuss what authors started...
What do you get when Stephen King leans all the way into his weird sex stuff? You get Gerald's Game!!!
This week, Sarah discusses the 2017 adaptation about a woman who finds herself in mortal danger when her husband handcuffs her to a bed in a remote cabin and then promptly has a heart attack and dies. The woman is left alone, starving and dehydrating while trying to maintain her sanity long enough to fi...

We ring in the new year by watching a cheap, British 80's flick that starts out strange and just gets weirder and weirder as it goes - Bloody New Year!

This week on Fearless Films, we are tackling the film that some say heralded the return to form of M. Night Shyamalan - 2015's The Visit!
Sarah takes us through the story of two teenage kids who go for a week long visit to meet their estranged grandparents for the first time, but find that nothing is as it seems. Told in a found footage style, the audience is put in the point of view of the terrified and...

Good news, scaredy cats! Today our friend Christian is here to present a less scary film than usual.
This week, we are talking about 2009's Coraline, which falls under the category of "made for kids, but probably traumatized them a little bit". The film follows the story of a young girl who moves into a new house with her parents, and discovers its dark secrets. A portal into a mirror world pro...
We finally made it to the end... for now!
This week, Pete closes off our October Franchise Breakdown with The Exorcist: Believer, a requel from David Gordon Green that features not one, but two possessed little girls! Can he perform the same magic he pulled with his Halloween requel? Unfortunately, yes!

We've talked prequels, we've talked sequels, but now we're talking one of the rarest of concepts: Requel in tv show format!
This week Sarah is breaking down season 1 of The Exorcist: The Series, which acts as a continuation of the universe of the original film, and ignores anything that came before! A normal family becomes plagued by possession, and it's up to two priests to save the day. ...

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween... the franchise, not the holiday. But also the holiday... oh, never mind!
This week on Fearless Films, Pete is breaking down The Exorcist 3 (sometimes known as Legion).
