Today, we’re chatting with someone whose career path reads like a thrilling novel. Picture this: starting out as a paramedic, rushing to the rescue, only to swap the sirens for a camera and dive into the world of photography. But wait, the story doesn’t end there! After capturing life through a lens, she uncovered her ultimate passion in content creation. Now, she’s a creative copywriter who infuses her diverse experiences into every piece of writing. Join us as we explore how a series of unexpected twists led her to find her true voice and craft compelling content with a unique perspective!
Meet Sarah Wayte,
Sarah's journey is a testament to the power of persistence, self-discovery, and the courage to pursue what truly lights you up, no matter where life has taken you. Who knew that using an entire roll of film to capture the beauty of headstones (age 7) and at 9 yrs old wrote a cringe-worthy poem about memories would be the foundation of Sarah’s career as a photographer and copywriter?
Sarah's path wasn't a straight line. It took her 20 years as a paramedic to realize what she didn't want to do. It wasn't until she moved halfway across the world that she finally gave herself permission to fully embrace her creative passions. Sarah built a successful wedding and portrait photography business while still working in the ambulance service, but in 2019, she took the leap to pursue her creative dreams full-time with the launch of Sarah Wayte Creative.
Listen in to Sarah's story plus tips on how to become a creative content writer. Sarah also shares her perspective on AI in the industry of copywriting and how it can make a positive impact in productivity versus it overtaking the creative side required by writers.
If you've ever wondered whether it's too late to follow your passions, let Sarah's story inspire you. Because if she could do it, then really, anyone can.
