Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to Fearlessly Failing hot Seat. In this EPP, I
fire rapid questions at one of our fearlessly failing guests.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
PS. I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm not so good at the rapid part. I get
too intrigued by the awesome answers. Now a new EPP
is going to drop every Wednesday, so enjoy this shortest
style episode of fearlessly Failing Hot Seat.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Welcome to the hot seat. What is your full name?
My friend? You can use middle if.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
You're like, yeah, Georgina, Emma Collinson. It is my full name.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Oh, I like that feels British. Yeah, it's very proper.
It is it is.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Would you say taste bud wise sweet or savory sweet?
Do you have a favorite like go to? I love
a chocky anything like a chocolate lava cake.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I haven't had one of them in a long time, I.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Know, but that's I often have this question with people.
Do you go for like a lemonie dessert or a
chocolate And I think it's such a personality test. I'm no,
never a lemon always.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Chocolate, so I would say I'm chocolate.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
But you know, if there was something great lemon curdie,
like a really yummy lemon curd I'd still dive in,
but I would go chocolate first.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
See, everyone's got a preference. It's a it's a straight
down the line.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Usually I will go caramel first, then chocolate, and like
a caramelo Kowala is probably my ultimate, A giant one
though not a literally yeah, it's got Do you have
a favorite city? Oh, that's a good question.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I mean, immediately Melbourne popped into my mind, maybe just
because I'm from Melbourne. That. Oh well, if I was
gonna say like a special city, I'd say Lisbon or
you live there right there, and it is the most colorful, vibrant,
exciting place ever. And I also feel what's so cool
about it is that you're welcome there no matter your age,
Like there is no age in Lisbon. That was one

(01:51):
of the big lessons I learned there was to be
okay with whatever age I am.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh, I love that. I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I feel people say LA isn't like it celebrates the
young only, but no, I do feel like LA.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Celebrates any dreamer. You just got to be a dreamer
in LA. That's a rule.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
That's super cool.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Okay, we'll obviously recording this in the beautiful Byron Bay
Northern Rivers.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Do you have a fear well now that you bring
up sneaks, right, I mean, it did become a bigger
fear for me being in Byron, because I had to
confront it and I ended up having in the first
place I was living in. I was sun baking in
my backyard one day and there was a big eastern
brown sneake sun baking next to me. So we would
have been peacefully just chilling in the sun together for

(02:33):
about ten minutes before we noticed one another. And then
thankfully it was fine and it just like slid it away.
But those things are deadly for anyone who doesn't know.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, you're a goner. I mean.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
The good thing is I got all the anti vendoms
at the hospital, But that also tells you how common
they are.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
If we've got the anti venoms.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah, and this is in the suburbs. Like I wasn't
in full like deep in the rainforest or anything.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Were you just in Byron?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I was in ocean shores.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Oh yeah, yeah, bit more humid. Yeah. Still, wow, that
is wild.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I have an irrational fear that the snake is coiled
in a toilet every time I do a we here.
And I told a friend recently and she's like, fuck you,
I thought about it.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Do you know what freaks me out? I've heard stories
about people feeling a snake on top of their feet
in a bed. No, and it was she's sleeping that Yeah. No,
you want to make sure you're in a place where
there are no holes where my saw snakes could get in.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
No, that'd be a python.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
No, I'm pretty sure someone had a brown sneak at
their feet. No, that's the story I heard that gay
kill you.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
They kill you. Pythons don't bother me. They're gorgeous.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Well, they only bother me if they eat my cat.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
No, okay, yeah, Maximus can't be Maximus. Yeah, totally, totally.
I would have that same fit. Okay, what is one
of your favorite qualities about yourself?

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Oh? That's nice. Maybe, Oh this is actually challenging. But
I would say I feel I have a strong empathy
that can like make people feel safe, and I do
let people, you know, when we're talking about stuff. I
like that I can make people feel safe to share
whatever they're thinking feeling. Nothing's unsafe with me. I'm never

(04:14):
going to judge anyone.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
How good? Oh, I mean that makes sense for your
line of work.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Yeah, wow, it's very helpful with what I do.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
You have a pet Peeve?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Oh many, I've got my cousins staying with me at
the moment. We were eating some chocolate last night on
the couch and I was like, just don't let the
crumbs get on the couch because of the chocolate, because
it'll like melt, melt, and then it melts in at
my couch is like a cream color.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
So oh yeah, that's fair. Yeah. So did he drop
any your cousin?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I don't think he did. I think he did a
pretty good job. I'm noticing those parts of me coming
out having someone stay in my place.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah, a hundred. Have you seen that, Hugh Grant, He's like, oh,
pet peeve.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Backpacks, water bottles, like saw these things Like, I'm like,
you are amazing.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Do you know a new one?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Is mold?

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Like being up here because I'm from Victoria, like like
you know, dry climate, I'm not used to all the
damp the mold, So I'm big on a dehumidifier my ways,
and I just try and keep everything as dry as I.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Can, especially if you've a girly girl and got beautiful
bat any handbags, which are fun to have in Melbourne.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
But I'll pee you're like.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I used to just always go to Bunning's and get
those those things that suck out the moisture in the
air and put them just with all my Siner bags.
But I never lost one. I was in Bangalore, which
is like Mold Central. I've lost a pair of leather boots.
Oh yeah, Matt's lost something leather. I don't know what
it was, but yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
It's not fun.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
It's tough.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
What's one of the best gifts you've been given? Oh?
My first cat?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
So when I was eight years old, for Christmas, I
was given a kitten, which was just like the most
like peak memory of my childhood to be like, I
never thought like I could receive a pa and it
was just so exciting and I just remember that forever.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
What did you name it?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Her name was Belle. Oh she was my little best
friend or through my childhood.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Ah, I love Were you an only child?

Speaker 3 (06:11):
No, I got a brother and a sister. Oh, it
was the baby of the family.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
But the kitten took the cake. It was your favorite. Yeah, Oh,
I love that.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Do you have a mantra or anything that you're kind
of like a living by at the moment.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
That's a good question.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
A mantra. I'm big on surrender and I'm trusting that.
Like I'm curious about the concept of what's in my
highest good, So I like to work with those kind
of words, like allow whatever it is in intention or
something I'm doing, if I'm writing part of my book
or something, I just want to say, let this be
whatever it should be for my highest good, and I'm

(06:46):
open to that being something that's uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Ooh oh, I like that.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Do you have a non negotiable or a couple non
negotiable in any context, any context being yelled at it's
not a not something Oh okay, okay, yes, so no, no,
let me sorry. Like so when I say non negotiable
for me, it would be nature, yoga like things that
are on your list of like no, not what you
don't want stuff on your list that you're like, I

(07:13):
have to be in nature daily, or I have to
write daily, or I have to you know what I mean,
got it.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
I'm like, if someone yells at you, that's a non
negoti not allowed explained that. I think being in nature
definitely is a non negotiable, Like I just I need it,
and I don't know if I can live in an apartment.
I'm about to move for the Gold Coast, and you
know that's a very apartment in life potentially, So we'll
just see where we are.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I lived in Billy Heads.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Yeah, I'll go for somewhere I can get my feet
on the ground or yeah. And I love like a
calming environment. I'm big on home like incense, burning, calm music,
breath work, my CACW. That is Georgie morning.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Oh that sounds amazing.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Okay, this is a really hard one. I ask a
lot of people. This is a nerdy actor. Do you
have a favorite movie or something you could watch on repeat?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
It's really hard.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
I have to say, Oh, there's so many going through
my mind for a long time. That movie Big Fish
my favorite. I've got to see that was a great one.
Or I mean, to be honest, the original Lion King
is coming.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
That's like a childhood memory. I went on New Year's
Eve with my mum, Like you know, when you remember
all that shit so good.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I could watch that over and over and I have.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Sad though there's a few moments where you're just like, I.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Think we all got a bit of like collective trauma
from that.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Isn't Beat for Beat because I learned story theory to
acting school Beat for Beat.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Harry Potter is Star Wars and Lion King as Hamlet.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard that too well. I
think all our stories follow similar themes, so they all
have the hero's journey.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
But yeah, if I had to go for another one,
I'd say probably like Lord of the Rings, so good,
big Lord of the Rings.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Now, I would love to live in that Elvis land
whatever it is, what's it called?

Speaker 2 (09:02):
But you know what, I'm riving dell.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Byrons like Rivendell on, especially if you go into the
rainforest area.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah, one hundred percent I fully agree with you.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Thank you for.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
