(00:23):
Failing Hot Seat. Welcome to the hot Seed. I always
get the guest to introduce himself full name, my friend. Hello,
my name is Chloe Elizabeth Wilson, elizabeth'spel Witness. That's correct,
and you've just bought out a book called Ritual which
is officially on sale now, Yes, that is right, Okay
(00:43):
hot seat. Okay. Would you say you're sweet or savory
as far as like your tastes go savory for sure?
Do you have a favor meal like anything noodlely like
Rahman Lusa love a noodle nic? Do you have a
favorite city?
Speaker 2 (01:00):
I mean I would say Melbourne, but I also yeah,
I would say city Melbourne, place somewhere tropical with.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Surf or there you go. Your answer to the next
one was, oh really nature spot.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, definitely. I would say probably like Costa Rica or Indonesia,
like somewhere yeah, with good surf, warm water and tropical.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
What's one of your favorite things about yourself?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Oh? Man, I think I am kind. I think I
try really, I'm like, always be kind to people, and
I think I'm yeah, that is something that I think
I give people a fago.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, I love that. I agree. I think you totally do.
Do you have a pet peeve um?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh, that's a great question. I'm trying to think, Uh
can it? Is it? Like any anything? I think people
who often say that they're super self aware are not. So.
I think people who really sell you on the fact
that their self where and that they understand themselves are
often the people who don't. So I'm like, just keep
(02:04):
it to yourself and be self aware.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
I also think like that even to ritual and like
the cultiness of the ties in.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Do you have a non negotiable.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
At the moment, it's I have to wake up, do
my meditation, breath work, and then jump straight into writing,
otherwise I won't do it. So that my not negotiable
at the moment is like clear the morning early to
get my writing work done. Because otherwise later in the
day my brain is.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, me too, me too. I feel you're on that. Well,
you're good at doing the braain. I'm yogi. I can
do yoga, of course, but love that. Do you ever
mantra or anything you live by? I'm going through a
real phase at the moment.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I think, Ah, probably going back to the thing about
being kind to people. I guess it's just like, don't
be a dick. Yeah, I probably have something more impactful,
but my brain is blank, right, I think, just like
don't always yeah, be reasonable, be kind to people, and
like always kind of like reflect on you know, the
(03:06):
ways he could have handled something better, and like just
be kind.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, I love it. I love it. Okay, I think
I might know the answer to this. But do you
have a favorite movie?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Probably okay to die for? Is this amazing film from
nineteen ninety five with Nicole Kitten, directed by Gus Benzan.
I really love that movie.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
You're laughing, Kimmen, Yeah, of course. The way you're like.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Know that movie is like visually everything that I'm interested in,
and the story is really great. I really don't like
the ending of it, but I can look away from
that because the rest of it's really great.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Okay, beautiful. You're an author, So favorite book or a
book you love?
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Oh okay. So I really really became obsessed with this
book called Big Swiss that came out. It was like
people will have heard of it.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
It was really big.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
It came out Big Big Swiss. It came out at
the beginning of twenty twenty three. It's a like story
about this woman who is a transcriptionist for an unlicensed
sex therapist in upstate New York and she like falls
in love with one of the women whose recordings she hears,
and then she meets her in real life and they
develop this relationship. But the whole time she's listening to
(04:12):
her like sex therapy sessions and doesn't say anything. And
it's just like there's like a screwball comedy element to it,
but it's also quite dark in parts. And I just
find Jen Began, the author. Her voice is like amazing.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Oh amazing. Who is the first person you'd call when
you get good news? Oh, my partner, My partner to
a good combo? That's it, my friend? Well wow, thanks
for jumping on their hot Sedasure to the listener ritual
is out. Now go grab a copy. You can get
it online or at any good bookstore. Is Australia, New Zealand, right,
(04:46):
Australia and New Zealand.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, and also I think like Singapore and Hong Kong
and also Ukraine. It's coming out in Ukraine, right.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
So that nice. Yeah. Anyway, movies that night, how good?
And also like if because we have some American listeners
or online on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (05:03):

Real real, Thank your friend, Thank you
Speaker 2 (05:10):
