little throat to the pilot, but what are your coffee orders?
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (00:44):
Well, honestly, it changes all the time. I feel like,
since I'm a brista like I'll do I'll try a
bunch of different types of drinks. But honestly, if I'm
being honest, it's probably like a nice van Lte with
whole milk.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
I know that's crazy, and you get an ic Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's that's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
Minus mine is so like I'm that extra in the car.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
So I get I get a Grande shaken espresso with
cinnamon dulcet powder and cinnamon dulcet syrup, and I get
it with whole milk instead of oat milk, and I
get so extra chocolate cold films?
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Is it Starbucks ordered?
Speaker 3 (01:21):
That's with Wane espresso? Important?
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Why blonde? Is it just gentla blonde?
Speaker 4 (01:26):
It's like brighter and like it's just better espresso. And
then the regular segnature one is just kind of like
a little more like it's darker and like more like
burnt kind of tasting.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah, I feel you on that.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
I think the blonde, the blonde is the way to go.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Oh my goodness, that is I drink black coffee. You
must think I'm a psychopath.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
No, so chill.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
I'm like I'm crazy, Like I know I'm crazy forgetting that.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
As soon as I set in your car, I like
picked up the coffee and I was like, oh, like no.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
We call it a love letter, like when we see
tickets that are like twenty Like it's a story.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
It's a full story.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I like equal a little love litter. Do you have
a favorite city?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Probably New York?
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Like probably New York, But I also love I love,
Uh what was the saying San Francisco.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I love San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I haven't been yet. It's so really yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
It's just it's small, but it's cute. I don't know.
It has a nice energy to it. It's green green.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
I love like hillylating hill.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Yeah, it's very I do love l A too. It's
probably New York l A. Yeah, New York La San
fran I.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Can't ask good list. What about nature spots? Do you
have any like nature spots? L A?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
You got, you got your both beach goes.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah, honestly, I'm just always at the beach. I feel
like this summer like any beach I would I would say,
the best beach in l A to me is Hermosa
Beach or Torrent's Beach, maybe because you're there, but like, okay,
so Santa Manka and Vennicts are all touristy.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
It's like and there's so much sand.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah, got to walk to the ocean exactly.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
And Torrance and Hermosa like it's Hermosa is a little
more touristy, but like Torrent's Beach, like you're it's literally
gonna be empty a lot of the time.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
It's very not crowded. I love that, Okay.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
I would also say the beach like I like torrens
Hermosa and Madonna, because like West said, there's like it's
not it hasn't taken that Taurust hook yet, Like yeah,
there's still like it's mostly like locals. It's not that
crowded and it still has that like local energy to it.
I also love o Hi, like yeah high so little race,
(03:27):
a little reset, a little day trip, will like go
and and like hike down to like waterfall or like
little areas of like water.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
It's just so My only issue with the nature here
in California is the iffing rattlesnakes I've seen really yes,
I've never seen it.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
I've literally never seen.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
One that Tom Springs Josh Tree that live in their
best lives out seven different kinds of everything.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
I mean.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
In Australia, my.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Talk is like I was actually before before we came today,
I was like, oh my god, like I want to
like because my I've just heard so many people like
oh my god, have you been on like credit Australia.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
TikTok.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
I don't know. It's like a thing and just like
tiktoks and people filming like giant what are they called vampires?
Are the giant.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Huntsman's And if they jump on, you've got to put
your hand in the air so they run up and
jump off you.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
That just like kangaroos ending up in people's houses and
like koalas and stuff on.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Peoples are fine, they're fine, They're fine. One day we
were cooking dinner, or Matt was cooking dinner and he
was he was like boss, and we have like that's
what we call each other, and we have like a
glass we used to have like a glass kitchen window.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
And this python snakes hanging.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Out of a tree. Right, that's right. That's one day.
I was hanging washing on the clothesline and he's like,
don't move, and a snake literally had gone through my legs. Yeah,
little whip snake. Yeah. Okay, speaking of this brings us
try next question quite well, do you do either of you.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Have any irrational fears?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I love an irrational thing.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, minus because it exists in Australia. Snake in the
toilet bowl, Oh my god, that really exciting. Yeah, they
crawl underneath the seat.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Of the Yeah, specifically in Australia or.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yes, like there'll be signs if you go to the
outback in Australia, if you go to like cafe's toilet
or restroom, there'll be signs like beware of snows. Oh my,
and you get you're sitting there and you're like, okay,
they're gonna come out of the ball, Lord, it's gonna
drop down on you or something.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
It's so scary fair unlock.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh yeah, you're welcome.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
No, no, I'm already my.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Mine.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Well, I have a lot, but i'd say like like sharks,
Like the ocean is scary? Is that that.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Scary?
Speaker 3 (05:46):
But good scary?
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Like I love the ocean, but I have like I
guess I'm just scared, like oh if I go on
the ocean, like, oh, shark's gonna buite me. Like but
it's like the statistically like that's not gonna happen. But
I guess also I'm just scared of the ocean, like
the deep Blue sea.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, as in the movie.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Oh yeah, that's where.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Do you know what I do every time I get
in the ocean because I have the same irrational fear.
I'm like, all right, sharks, I'm a good person. So
I'll do what do you'll like, I'll be really like
respectful of nature and the ocean if you just like
respect me and that's kind. And I just make sure
there's always surfers out deeper than me. They're gonna eat them. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
I used to be a really scared fire but I've
gotten I don't know, I've gotten a lot better with that,
so that like it used to be afraid of.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Like crashing, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, just coming whatever. But
then I just it's something clicked. I'm like, it's not
going to crash, like I don't.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Know, I'm not quite fearless, I feel. Do you have
any others?
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Oh no, you got something like Okay, I was gonna
say death, but that's pretty rational.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
That is very.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Oh oh okay. When I'm in a high building, when
I'm in a really high building, thing I don't know, like.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Like what's that building in New York, I don't know
what's what's the like that, I feel like I just
am always scared, like it's going to like fall.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Okay, that's that's irrational, though, I feel I have.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
An irrational like I don't know if this is rational rational,
but ever since I was a kid. My biggest fear
when I was a kid was like home invasion, Like, oh,
I know that was my biggest because I think I
watched her movies when I was kid.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
You're both obsessed, right, yeah, way too early.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
So I have always had this like fear that like
someone's gonna seek in the house like so that like
like murder, like murder.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
That's very bala though, Like we had a serial killer
in North Hollywood not two weeks ago, very La. And
I know you two have lived in like East La,
same with us, and it's like, you know, the citizen.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
App goes off, it does things going on.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
I was too it was feeding everything way too much.
What about Pitt Peeves.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
Go go okay Peeves, I'd say, okay, Well, this is
one of my pet peeves As a barista, I just
one of my least favorite things.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
And I feel like this happens with a lot of
like I don't know, like older man. They'll like order
while they're talking the phone. It's my biggest pet peeve.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
I'm just like disrespecting.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
They're just like, well, also I get their order wrong
and it's not on purpose, but they go and then
oh yeah, thousand dollars to give it.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, and I'm like, I'm like, what, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
I go bacon Sam, And then the other day I
did that and I got them the wrong sandwich. I
was like sorry, like I didn't hear you because you were.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Like on the phone.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
So that's one of my pet peeves. So maybe like.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Just not paying attention. I don't know, that's just it
just marks me because I'm like the decency of just
say one second, because I.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Get it, Like I get it. I'm like, oh, one
minute and then just order and then just go back
to the phone.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yeah, I'm yeah like that.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Yeah, I feel like I'm pretty lax in terms of
like stuff. But for some reason, like Okay, if I'm
watching a show, I can't like talk to her, like
I can't like talk to her, or like you're sorry
you hold.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
On, hold on, just let me finish, stops up. Okay.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
So I what I'm saying is that like if I'm
watching something and like I can't like multitask in the
way of like, oh, sorry, I thought of a different one.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Wait, no, sorry, I.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Thought of a different one because well, o's funny, all
say too. So the first one is talking during shows
were like I can't just like casually watch something or
like I can't like have to walk in honestly, like
I can't pull laundry like multitask because if I'm watching show,
I like want to like I don't want to miss
the points, and if I do, like I will rewind
her like pose it. Yeah, yeah, that's fair, even like
sitcoms that are like not even like that, like crazy,
(09:45):
I feel like I'll have to be like wait, you know,
like be quiet. I need to hear what they just said,
like I'll rewind it because I'm like I need to
hear what they said because like I'm gonnass that. So
that's when both Okay, you know, I don't understand at all.
I don't understand how people talk when they run.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Like they literally do that though, is that a thing?
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Like I'm like, how the hell do you do that?
I'm like when I'm running, I'm like like on the
phone no, like like you know when you see we're talking, like,
how the hell do you do that?
Speaker 1 (10:17):
I truly can you know, I couldn't do that.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
So when people try to talk to what I'm like exercising,
I can't.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, okay, well I love this. I feel like really
open Pandora's box.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yeah, I love it.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Okay, And I know you're both like movie buffs, so
you can pick a favorite movie each like out of
Live and I know you both have an obsession with
horror or I'm presuming you do. Yeah, so you can
you can do an add on and have a horror
movie and your regular I love that.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
Okay, Oh my god, I love this honestly fabe movie
of all times probably Bridesmaids.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Oh yeah, I love that movie.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
I just think the writing is so good. It's so
like it's so relatable, like to everyone. I feel like
it's relatable to everyone else.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
It's so fun and rebel Wilson got paid three thousand
dollars for that and paid for a sag.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Yeah, yeah, that's crazy buzzy.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah, well do you want to pick?
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Okay, yeah, horror movie. Like a movie I think about
is this movie called Watcher.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
It's kind of random, but it's with it's with Mike
and Mike and she's like in like it follows and
like things like yeah, kind of indie. She's like a
screen queen. Yeah, but yeah, it's it's really like so
unnerving and creepy, Like I don't know if I've told
you watch it, but it's about this woman who moves
to her boyfriend, like has to move for to a
(11:36):
foreign country for work.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
So she's this American living I honestly can't remember where,
but she's.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Living somewhere and like she doesn't speak the language and
she's just isolated and basically across the street. She notices
that a man is like watching her, but everyone thinks
she's crazy. You know, it's scary and it's so on
and the ending. I love movies where it's like the
ending has literally no dialogue and everything happens just like action.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yeah, and it's like so unnerving and creepy, like don't
watch alone. It's very creepy.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Why you have the intrusive fear like the irrational home.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Put myself in this situations. But that movie is so good.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
It's so like I like movies that are kind of
like small in story, Like it's like just like yes, tense.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
My favorite woul probably be Bride.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
So I'm gonna pick something else, but I love but
I would say maybe probably, Like I call me by
your name, it's just it's just so beautiful, yeah, or
like past.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Past lives.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
It's so good.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
It's about like this like Korean woman who like is
dating this American man. But then she was like, oh,
this like man that I dated as a kid, like
or I guess this kid that I did when I
was a kid. I like always wondered like is he
the one or whatever?
Speaker 3 (12:46):
So she meets him. It's just so beautiful. Have you
seen it? Balled the holes literally the whole time. And
then a horror movie Hereditary.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
I don't know, Oh my god, watch it. I can't.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I will have like this one is actually.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Absolutely not you're not You're not winning me over here.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
But I will say it's very like family centered. It's
like a family drama first, and it's kind of basically
about like like what is built in the cards for
you in life and like the like what that can
the damage of that that it can do of like
following the family and how you can't break the cycle
though you just can't.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
That's like the root of it, Warrens. But it's like
it's like heightened with like demons and like.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
You lose me.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
You know, I don't do a demon.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
I don't do a demon. I'm not interested in anything demonic.
I can't my brain.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
My brain goes too far and I just can't catch it.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
See that kind of stuff doesn't scare me like demon stuff,
but like it's human stuff. Human beings been crazy because
that's real.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Yeah, and someone's thought of that to right, So that's
like a thought that exists exactly by multiple people. Yeah,
mental final question for each of you, and you've kind
of talked about it on the long form a little bit.
But just like in a snippet, if you give a
little bit of advice to someone that's like, oh, I've
got this dream, but I'm kind of a bit scared
anything around, like a creative with a dream.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Yeah, i'd say use that, use the anxiety to your
advantage because I don't know, I feel like because too
many people like like I don't know, there's something to
fake in confidence, but there's also something to bring in
just your authentic self into the room.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
So just like, use that anxiety. Like they say that.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Anxiety and excitement are like the same, right, Yeah, So
it's like, I don't know, turn that into excitement and like, honestly,
just do it. Do whatever you want to do, even
if you're scared, Like if this is really what you want,
just like, make it happen.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Make it happen.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
And I would probably say to like make opportunities for
yourself versus on relying on other people for opportunities. I
feel like that like stalls time a lot, whe like,
oh like, why is it happening? Why is it happening?
Speaker 3 (14:50):
It could happen, and you you have totally capabilities of
just like making it happen. You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
You're both so inspiring. I love it.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Can we do this again?
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Please? Did you have fun?
Speaker 1 (15:04):
So excited for you so here to see this pilot
absolutely blow up. I'm so so proud of you both,
so and thank you for letting me.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Be part of it.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Honestly, I was kind of surprised you said yes, really, yes,
I was just nervous.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
I was like, oh my god, Loveless, she's so like
Lisson talks about you all the time.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
I do.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
He literally talks about you. I love you. He's like,
oh my god, for Lola Indiana, Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah, oh no, this feeling is mutual. I feel so
lucky that we've all got to like cross pilts and
hang and you're stuck with me for life now, so
we'll just.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
How exciting. Thank you both.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
Thank you
