(00:23):
Failing hot Seat. Welcome to the fortieth edition hot Seat.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Hi, happy birthday, Happy birthday, Happy fortieth, Happy fortieth.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Oh my goodness, we're both virgos and you're of the ox.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, okay, let's just do a quick rapid fire half
way eighty Yeah, let's just do a quick rapid fire.
Go okay, what is something that you want to achieve
in your fortieth decade?
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Well, you're fourth decade? Is that the right saying?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
So within the next ten years? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (00:58):
Also, is that right? Fourth decade?
Speaker 2 (01:00):
I think we're in our fifth decade. I just completed
our fourth decade. Okay, between forty and fifty. Okay, achievement
like actual like career life things, first of all, happiness, health, calmness, Korea.
I would like to score a major movie. Actually, I
(01:23):
would say many, not just one. A few feature films,
because in ten years you could probably do like maybe four,
you know, maybe five.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
You don't reckon, you could do one a year.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
It's a pretty hard to do one a year, I
reckon anyway.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
And what about like some awards TV show?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
So that yeah, and then I would love to do
like a handful of like amazing TV shows and dramas
nice and the awards don't really mean anything to me,
but yeah, I don't care about that. I'm not in
the line. I've never thought about those things.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
So I'm like, it's going to make me sound like
an absolute drunk.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
No, I know you want the awards, but you're an
award person, like you could do it. Like, I'm not
the guy that ever gets the fucking awards or fucking grants.
I'm the guy that has to bust his balls to
really Yeah, okay, drop me to answer the same question.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
I would love to win an Emmy. Yea happy for
multiple and look, I'm just going to throw a golden
globe in there, go for it. I think I will
be a TV actor as opposed to a film actor.
That is just where I see myself like comedic bones
all that kind of thing. But I shouldn't limit myself,
so be nice to a feature as well. And I
(02:41):
love the idea of like voicing stuff.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Love it cool to hang on? Oh sorry, jeez.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
I would like for us to have a ranch somewhere
in the world, yes, and animals, but we also want
to travel heap, so love it. Yeah, we've got to
be mindful of that. Next question, if you were having
dinner with your twenty year old self, and if you
haven't listened to their Monday yep, go back and listen,
because you do answer this so you can give a
different answer.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Now, what advice would you have?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Get out of your own head, stop being a pussy,
just be like a bit more fearless, and know that
everything that you're feeling isn't real.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
And it will pass and it's not as big as
you think. I like that.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I think my advice would be, don't care about what
other people think about you. Value yourself and see yourself
as an equal. Don't put yourself below others. And I
think the mistake I have made for my twenties and
thirties is I hold people on pedestals.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yeah, and so I'd never want to do that again.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Love it.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
What's something that you're looking forward to achieving between now
and the end of the year.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Do know, I won't give specifics, but obviously, like the
projects that I'm working on behind the scenes, I'd love
to really have them progressed to a phase of signing
off on things. I think that's probably the main thing
in the next three months, which is what will be
(04:14):
my focus. So I've got like a lot of work
and then a lot of projects as well that i'd
love to get real, real, going nice.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I want to be signed to a feature film it.
I mean, it's a big dream.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
No, I love it. I think feature all TV shows.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
By the end of the year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, unreal. Okay.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
What is something you're looking forward to doing to celebrate
your fortieth birthday?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
We have a few things on the history. We're getting
a tattoo, yeah yeah. Are you excited?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
And I'll let you answer the next one shahow tonight
shadow yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
But also our trip yes.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
So, my beautiful dad has organized our calm and we
are going to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to hit two National parks,
both Yellowstone and the Grand.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Titons Grandons pumped, so excited. I've already been planning our itinerary.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Love it.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
What is something that, like we if we were hoping
to go back to Australia for crimbo. What is something
that because you were back at the start of the
year and I think that you and I are in
a real like transformation phase of our lives. What is
a change that you feel like you want to have
(05:33):
implemented since the last time you're in Australia versus this time.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Are you giving you Well, I feel like I feel
like maybe like you should answer that question. I feel
like I was good. I feel like I feel like
Australia's a bit stressful for me, more stressful for you
than it.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Was for me.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Okay, boo boo, Yeah, come on, let's be real.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
You know, I think I the same advice I'll give
my twenty year old self, Like I get really guilty,
Like if we're staying with people, like I want to
eat dinner with them later then I would usually eat
or like, oh, change my plans so that make everyone
happy and eat out a lot more than I want to,
and like usually my value, my health value system gets
compromised ye this year, Like I don't want that to happen.
(06:27):
I just want to like march the beat of my
own drum, Like I really want to take Dad to
the theater. Likely, I just want to do shit that
I want to do, do the pod all that, of course,
spend time with family and have special Christmas moments with them,
But like I don't want to feel like I keep
compromising myself, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Like I want to go to a straggle and to
do all this cool shit for us as well.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Yep, yeah, yeah, I think I get really like stressed
and like caught up in the guilt of that.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
It's really weird.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I don't know what that is in me,
But I don't know. Yeah, but yeah, no, I think
that's great.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Final final one?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
What is?
Speaker 4 (07:06):
I don't know what to say? Do you have one
for me?
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Just to sign off?
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Like, like, what what's your mantra for your forties?
Speaker 4 (07:16):
What's your mantra for your forties?
Speaker 3 (07:17):
You go, my mantra.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Be happy, work hard, love hard, be brave, be brave,
and don't give a shit.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
So my thing is formidable and forty, which I feel
like fits me, Yeah, And to stay relentlessly honest with
myself and others, and like, let that be my baseline
and always come back to that no matter what. And
I just I have this feeling that good shit happens
(07:52):
when you live from that space.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Agreed right, Love you
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Love you, Bye bye two
