Speaker 1 (00:02):
Get a.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm Lula Berry, nutritionist, author, actor, TV presenter, and professional oversharer.
This podcast is all about celebrating failure because I believe
it's a chance for us to learn, grow and face
our blind spots. Each week, I'll interview a different guest
about their highs as well as their lows, all in

(00:26):
a bid to.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Inspire us to fearlessly fail. Hello, Welcome to our spooky
season Halloween, God spooky vibes. You don't look very spooky today? Boo?
How do I look gorge big Bluey's Yeah, wash my
hair last night. Do you know when we were first

(00:48):
messaging each other on bumble, when we first started dating.
So this is summer some seven years ago. Now.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I made a comment about your beautiful blue eyes and do.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
You know what you responded to me with, probably some flirty,
smart ass comment.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, you said, they've got me to get me into trouble.
They've got me into and out of a lot of trouble.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Oh absolutely, how do they get out of trouble? You
just flushed those eyelashes, Yeah, exactly to whom. Ah, don't
I just people? Ladies? Ladies?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Oh, you're very funny. So today's a special episode. It's
a spooky season episode because you and I have just
gone away to celebrate our first ever Americana Halloween. We
were here for Halloween last year, but our Halloween comprised
of us donning on Harry Potter sweaters jumpers.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
What did we do last year?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yours was s griffind or mine was Slytherin. Naturally, Uh,
we didn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
We're just home. We were home.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I think we had my dad here and we might
have gone too a pumpkin patch in on the way
to take him to Malibu.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, I think so does that feel about right? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
That feels that feels and I've got a photo of
Dad and I holding pumpkins. But we didn't go to
a party or get crazy dressed up or any of that.
The cool thing about Americans, I will say, is like
it's not just a kid's thing. It's definitely an adults
thing as well. Wouldn't you say, oh my god, the
adults love it. I would say, I would sorry.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
We're all friends here, you can you I would say,
the adults love it more than the children.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, and look here you can do just like a
little something like we're a Harry Potter sweater just for living,
like just for running your errands the whole week of
Halloween and people love it or you can wear this
is the other thing that I noticed, spooky themed things
like ghosts on T shirts or like horror movie t shirts.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
And that's also people said, but we went away.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah, so let's start with Halloween because this is a
spooky episode. We were visiting our friends in Lost Levos,
but we all all four of us dressed up.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
What did you go as? Sir? I went as teen Wolf?
And how you might have had the best costume. I
think I had the best costume because no one saw
my face had a mask on the whole day. You're
the only one with a mask. Yeah, but you look great. Yeah,
that's a lot of fun and harder. We got to
give credit to our friend Eric. He had the costumes

(03:35):
waiting for it. He literally had a rack of costumes
and options and options and like the matching shoes and
everything to go with it. They absolutely hilarious. Everything was
thought out.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I went as kill Bill but also doubles as Bruce
Lee because it's the exact same outfit. And their numb
chucks is that what they're called? Yeah, they were Bruce
Lee's prop not Kill Bill.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah, Immurman's was the samurai sw Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
I My only regret is I should have done a
pose for a photo with you where I was in
fighting stance, because you know how she's always in like
a fighting stance, as is Bruce Lee.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
We should have got your fake samurai saw.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
It, but like down to the tigers, like the shoes.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, matchie, matchie. So Bruce Lee notoriously wore this like
yellow jumpsuit and that's what they referenced in Kill Bill
for Uma Thurman's yellow jumpsuit, literally the exact same. Yeah. Yeah,
I did not know that, did you? Yes? I did
know that. Oh there you go. But yes, we went

(04:41):
to Los Alibos, which is just past Santa Barbara in
the Saint Innes Valley wine country. It's wine country or
stunning wine country. And our friends, so Craig when is
Obi wan Kenobi? Yep?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
And as the day went on, he started singeing the melodies.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Did you know its Imperial March? Yeah? Do you know
how to do it?

Speaker 2 (05:12):
And then Eric went as coming to America, So Eddie
Murphy coming to America, and he nailed it that outfit,
like he got the most comments out of everyone.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Like he was like in a full like tucks with
the crown and then had like the tiger over his
shoulder but all the jewels were and yeah, it was
very very funny. It was so good. I feel like
he got the most compliments.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
I would say his outfit may have won. They don't
listen to pods, so they're never going to know. But
I would say, if you ever hear this Eric your
outfit one.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, well, Eric's the organizational MVP.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Also set designer props, master costume design, like you can.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Do it all. Yeah, that's what he does. See. That
was a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
So we went into town full costume and went wine
tasting in full costume, and then we did we went
to this other area.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Was it called Ballard Ballad, Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
And that's where all the houses get involved and you
walk the stroam the streets and you can literally walk
into people's front yards.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
And they're all like imagine like your real quaint Americana town. Yeah,
literally like you know, two by two streets, that's what
it was. But a lot of churches, Yeah, weirdly six
churches in this like two by two town. So It
was like really quaint Americana town and there was just

(06:44):
heaps of people just walking around and adults. Yeah, it
was like a bit of like a thing. We even
did a bit trick or treating, did we. Well, we
had a few treaties. Oh yes, someone put treats out
and we're like, oh, we'll just grab one of them.
But we weren't going up to people's houses. No, we
were more soaking in the Beyonce and atmosphere. Right. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Yeah, so I say, congrats, we've done our first ever.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
I feel like we did a proper Americana Halloween, yeah,
which I thought was quite fun. Agreed. Yeah, And then
though we went hurry got changed because it was also
very hot. Yeah. We were in non breathable material, non
breathable nylons. Had some dinner which I made pesto, nice

(07:31):
fresh pesto. Yeah, scratch, And then we went and did
the corn Maze, which was at a pumpkin patch in Solvang. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
So we went to this corn maze and so did
you know it only takes a month and a half
for that corn to grow to I did not know
that till like ten feet. Yeah, I didn't know that
corn grew that fast. Did you feel a little spooked
in the corn Maze?

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I didn't feel spooked, but I was like, how the
fuck are we going to find our way out of here?
Like you're just walking around aimlessly. Like once you're in,
you're like, this is fucked.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Because it was on fourteen acres. Yeah, that's fourteen football fields.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah, there's no and there's no like signs or directions
or and it's night. We were doing this at night.
It's like, yeah, so it's pitch black. We brought torches. Yeah,
but yeah, like once we're in there, you're like, and.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
You're running into other people in costumes, so like people
in convict costumes, people in like oh there was like
beetlejuice costume.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
There's a lot going on. Yeah, lucky we had tortures.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I saw a lot of people using their phones and
I was like, ah, that's not enough lights. No, definitely,
And there were things you were meant to find in
the maze, which we've figured out after we've finished the maze.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
But we just did the maze and then you know,
we found our way out in about thirty minutes. Yeah. Fun,
it was a lot of fun. Yeah, thank you to
Eric again for he organized all the tickets organizing. Yeah,
so good.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
So that was our Halloween. We also went up to
celebrate Craig's birthdays. We went up for the last two days.
We stayed in the airstream on this little rodeo kind
of farm.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I think the four horses were rodeo horses, is that right?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah, and they had a free range piglet just rolling around, Yeah,
called Maggie.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Maggie was very cute. Came and visited a few times.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I will say, staying in an airstream, I've stayed in
airstream before, and we already live in a reasonably small apartment.
Get they're small, Yeah they are, They're tiny.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, but we made it work.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
We had fun and then yeah, so I've made I've
made a list of everything we did over the We
were really there for about three days.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah. I feel like you should have done this wrap
up pod with Eric. Really, Yeah, that would be hilarious.
I wanted to come on the pox. I'm you can
do one for his life and career. Should just do
a wrap up one with him and he'll give us
all the behind the scenes. Yeah. Also, people don't know
Eric and Craig around neighbors. Yes, and they've got this

(10:01):
beautiful ranch and we'd go visit.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Them, who've become really good friends with which is why
we actually went up for that trip because it was
Craig's birthday, So we went up on the Thursday for
Craig's birthday. We went straight to their ranch because you
want to drop the ingredients off, and then we made
our way in. Also, this area is so safe, like
we had all our luggage in the car the whole

(10:23):
the whole time before even checking in. And then we
went straight to wine tasting. It their I think their
fave is Donaka Donaka. Yeah, and we had a really
nice rose there we did, and then dinner we had
back at their place, ribs and Brussels sprout. Yeah, that
was they packed assert birthday dessert to have buy because

(10:45):
we had a little fire pit out so then we
had a little campfire that was lots of fun. I
was a little bit hung over the next day though.
It took me a bit to rally for Halloween. Yeah,
and the other thing I forgot to me about Halloween.
We did go to Donica again, but then we went
to another Four Brothers, Yeah, another wine tasing that was

(11:06):
nice too.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
I think though these brands are very specific to here
the area. Yeah, I'd like, I don't think you can
go get those wines like in Australia or many other places,
even like bottle oos and stuff here, I don't think so.
I've never seen one at a bottle o here really. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Oh so it's very like because there's a whole membership program,
isn't it.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Like yeah, like obviously they would some like you know,
it's a business. They sell their wine somewhere or ship
them to subscribers. Yeah, but they're not like they're like
really like amazing boutique wines. So it's like you kind
of go there if you're a really big wine fan.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Should have got a red wine from Donnaka Yeah, like
a Gaby.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
We can just ask them when they're back. I know
that's true. I didn't even think of that.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Okay, So we did that and then we had a
little shopping debut.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Yes we did.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Actually can we mentioned the gluten free sing and we
shared because that was really nice.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Oh yeah, in town it's things called panino. Yeah, and
there's what does that mean means? Like little little roll
is what it means? Intelli? Yeah, like a little sandwich,
little little little panino. Yeah, you're a little panino. Yeah,
I did not know that, or it just means like
little bread, little bread. Yeah. Well, there's one in Loss

(12:29):
of Levos and one in Santa Anaez. Right, there's a few.
I think it's like three or four in the area. Yeah,
great train, oh great chain.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Well, and so we discovered when we were getting out
Panino on the Halloween day that there was a little
bit of.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
What's wrong, booboo nothing, you don't need to you made
that sound. Yeah, I know. I was just holding the
microphone and a wrisk got saw. Oh yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
So we discovered there's a little bit of western shopping.
Yes that we thought, oh tomorrow we better head back.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Also, excuse me sorry. Also remember it is horse country. Yes,
I think ranch and horse country.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
You know, so I think that this area is yes,
known for wineries, but I think also there's a Santa
in there's rodeo. Yeah, so I think it's like, yes,
farmland and cattle and dah dah dah. But I do
think you're right. I think it's for competing. Yeah, we've
still never been to a rodeo, No, we haven't. Feels
so Americana.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Yeah, definitely need to.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
And in Wyoming because we went in the shoulder season,
the Rodeo had already shut for the year by about
a month. It wasn't like we were too close to it. Okay,
So we kicked off some Western shopping. Yes, do you
remember the name of the first shop we went to.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Jelleckis, Yeah, great shop. Here's the thing though, We're like,
oh my god, this is a great shop. But to them,
it's just like that's like a normal like cowboy wear shop.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
We don't really have that much access to this kind
of stuff in Australia. Yeah, this is very specific to
American Western.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Yeah, wouldn't you say, very very American Western? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
And there were little nods to like I think this
is part of the stage coach, Like there were little
like did you.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Know so a little like memorial not memorial.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Like plarks up around and they were like little.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
What do you call them, like Oregon trail little Yeah? Yeah,
did you notice that? Or not? Really? Okay, Okay, I
feel like I found it, but I just I find
it funny. It's like, say, like when you live in
the city, you're like, oh, let's go like Western themed
try to like get some Western style clothes and then
you just go to this like one shop and it's

(14:52):
like the actual Western brands and they're not even expensive.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Oh my goodness, not even a tiny bit. Yeah, here
we go. So it's part of the old stage coach route. Yeah,
in eighteen sixty one to nineteen oh one. This is
just an old wooden sign I found. It's a hostage.
So the Wells Fargo there.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Which is an American bank. It is a historical.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
It's part of the historical society and city and County
of Santa Barbara. Anyway, but from eighteen sixty one to
nineteen oh one, it was part of the old stage
coach route route.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Yes, so, meaning that it would have gone from San
fran to La Really. Yeah, what was the stage coach
all about. That's just a stage coach. He's just like
the little stage coach where like they transport people in,
you know, with the horses, horse and carriage as a
stage coach. I thought a stage coach was your don't

(15:57):
you stop it. I thought that I would travel around
and build a little theater like a stage. No, no, no, no,
can you see how I thought that? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:07):
No, it was like oh, the stage coach must be
like a theatrical group of people that go around.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
A coach is a like you know where they like
take put Yeah, I thought it was a moving theater. Yeah. No, ye,
like it would go on with the horses and sit
in the coach. You sit in the.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Back, and you're like, but I thought they stopped and
put a stage on and then put a little thing.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
They might have but no, anyway, okay, it's it's the
route between woween, the route between San Fran and LA
because that's like three hours out of LA and we're
another like four hours from San Fran driving. Gotcha, Okay,
let's move on from that.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Anyway, we did epping, so we went to that first one. Jiles,
I got a straw which I've been wanting for quite
some times. So to give a little bit a little
bit of cowboy hat etiquette since I'm now really deep
diving the tiktoks of this. Where your felt hat, which
is the steps and that I bought in Wyoming in

(17:15):
the winter months.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
The straw hat is for.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
The summer months because you don't want to sweat into
your wearing like literally felt on your head so keeps
you warm. Like I wore it to the Poorn Mason
Stay Warm. But that beautiful straw number, you just whip
it on in the summer. I'm going to take that
to Byron Bay. I failed that home because it's cheaper.
So they're about like so your felt hats are generally upwards.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Of two hundred dollars American.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
That's your entry level because it's got you with the ex'es.
So like mine's four x, which is the lowest of them,
still great. It's got to be the amount of like
beaver fur versus rabbit, I believe. And then it go
but mine is bison, I think. And then it goes
all the way up to like six x. Then you're
sitting at like three hundred and fifty dollars. And then

(18:03):
it goes up to ten x, and I think you're
getting into the thooey's pretty quickly. And I think it
goes all the way to one hundred x.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Isn't that fascinating anyway? So straws for summertime, and straws
are much cheaper. They said this was fifty bucks. The
ones in all the straw ones in Wyoming were like
seventy five to ninety But we were in a huge
tourist now, I feel like Wyoming.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
It's just that suffs a bit more expensive there. It feels, yeah,
you've only got a certain amount of shops. Yes, touristy vibes.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Anyway, so we went from there to the Loss of
Levos Outfitters, which wasn't open yet, but that from the
outside and front we'd heard it was a bit bougier,
but we couldn't get in there. Yeah, and then next time,
and then from there we went to Santa Anez and

(18:49):
I had my heart set on kJ Murphy's, which is
where you go to get cowboy hats made. Again, looked
really cool if I didn't have my stets and for
sure get one there. Yeah yeah, yeah, but we had one,
so I didn't really matter I had one. I wanted
to get a bit of merch there, but you talked
me out of it for good reason.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah, it wasn't that good merch.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
And I got one at four Brothers, a little bit
exactly with a little smoking cowboys.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
We got one.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
But then around we noticed around the corner a few
other little shops were opening up as we were there.
One was called I believe Rodeo something or rather, I
can't remember. And we got some great patches. Yeah, we
got some cowboy patches. You got one that says y'all, yol, y'all.
I got one that says cowboy and it has the
little horns. And then I got one that you got

(19:39):
one that says good luck in a lucky shoe. But
I might commander that one.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
What we'll see. We'll see about that.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
And then we went to the shop next one that
was really cool too, that was all like Western inspired.
That was a bit gif wery vibes. Did you feel
But did you end up ordering the hatstance?

Speaker 1 (19:56):
No? I didn't. I was going to wait till Black Friday.
I was smart, but had some cool hat stands in there. Yeah,
they did. What else to tell you? Then then we
went across and this is where we got the real ripper. Ripper.
We went to a horse feed shop. Now bear with us,
So again, this is a small country town. So like

(20:18):
these shops exist in these places because it's like farmland
and they're farming shops. So imagine like a Bunning's for horses,
for horses and farming.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Yeah, so we walked into this farming shop and you
just wore and It literally smells like horse feed and
stuff like palladi food and stuff. And there's everything like brushes, horseshoes, everything.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
It's huge, little like actual horseshoes that you buy for
your horse, pop on your horse. And there's like like
the bridles, and there was the saddle, the saddles which
were about three grand.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
And then anyways, we saw you could just walk up
these little stairs and it was a little small kind
of like clothing section, right, and we went straight to
the clearance rack. Yeah, and you found yourself an epic
jacket that was thirty percent off and we got this
incredible jacket for seventy buckos.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
How good. We're all stuck up for winter and cowboys.
Well we're here, it's winter now, it's going to get
cold now, how good? I know. And then we leave
and then we're back in the heat.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
And then we went and just had a little in
four weeks time, then we just went and had a
little coffee at the belingerie.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Yeah, is that what you call it? Something like that?
You know you're a Italian. That's not an Italian word.
It's French, the French. Close enough, yeah, close enough. What
do you call a belingee. I don't know, I currently
what it was called belingerie. Oh nice, I made that up.
And we got a coffee and we got on the road.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Then our now tradition when we leave the boys is
to stop off at Calabasas air one.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Yeah, like a bougie air one. And there were more
horses in a little flow horses there. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Yeah, so that was our little halloween Yeah, spooky season round.
Can I do a little asterix here? Okay, go because
I feel like it's a little on brand with the
Western Yeah. Since you've last spoken on the podcast, yeah
you have. My friend got two more tattoos.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yes I have. Would you like to share a little
bit about it? And so do you? Yes, I have.
I've gone from zero to heroes. I know, well I
got so. The one that I was going to get
on my birthday is a little magic mushrooms, a little
ptilocybin mushroom. It looks really cute. I got that on
my arm. And then we got.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Little matching again, matching again. Heaven forbid, we get divorced.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I know, right, We've got to get married first to
get divorced. Little bullhorns. It's actually a long hornball longhorns
they call them and step but all in like stent,
like fine line stencil, yeah, which is very cool and
my mum is going to be pretty livid. And you

(23:14):
got your finger one topped up, yeah, and I got
my little finger. I got my finger refilled in tattoo,
just touched up.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Yeah, because we're getting I didn't know this, but because
we get fine lines, they touch them up a bit
just to get them like perfecto, give them a second
go and all that kind of thing. So the reason
why we did this is Wolf, who we went to
for our birthdays, is moving to Seattle, and so I
said to Matt, do we want to just book one
more in? And I didn't when we're in Wyoming because

(23:42):
I found what I wanted. I wanted a stencil of
a cowboy on a bucking bronco, which is kind of
the Wyoming logo unofficial low it's like the unofficial logo
of the town, the state, I think, because it's on
everything except flag.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
The flags are bison, and yeah, yours is call you
got little little cowboy back in bronco and then I
got there and then you get the matching horns too, and.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Then Matt's like, you can't keep getting them on your
in your arm because you're an actor, But I keep
doing it.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Yeah, well they're gonna have to be covered up, you know.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Yeah that's fine, but they're dainty and fine. And I
got my my shark also touched up because if anyone
else out there that is sensitive like me, the second
skin I reacted to when we first got our tatoos am.
I like the whole area, so it's like a stand
aid and it can stay on forever. I think they're

(24:40):
using hospitals and stuff like burns and yeah exactly, but
my whole the whole area where the second skin was like,
my skin went really red and raised, and we think
that might have like pushed out a bit of the
tattoo as well, probably. So I've been much more rancho
relaxo with these two.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Be very rancho.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Haven't been like because the first one, I was like
washing it every few hours and then.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Yeah too much. Yeah, just chill, and you want to
talk about our well, actually my great celebrity spot. As
soon as we looked out, did you put this on
the list? No? And I forgot about to put it
in the pod diary.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
I was like, oh my goodness, I record a podd
and I left out in integral Yeah, celeb spotting. So
we were standing out in the front of the where
we went for our tattoos.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Yeah no, no, let me let me do the real
quick backstory where we were standing. So just next to
the tattoo place is a restaurant called Mattsu Issue yes right,
which is Chef Nobu's first restaurant, and it's been on
your bucket list forever forever and it is like meant

(25:44):
to be amazing Japanese. It's still like even though like
Nobu is Noboo, this is his still like first joint
and he still owns it, I assume. So yeah, and
it's like bougie and still pops off, you know. So
stanning literally at the front of the air waiting for
the uber to come.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Maybe we should go there as our own Christmas celebration. Okay, yes,
we can do that'll be nice.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Yeah, And I said, his black car nice but just
like a nice BMW rocking up with this guy driving.
And I look look at him, I'm like, just a
guy on his own looking pretty norm whatever, but and handsome,
pretty good looking dude. I'm like that's Ryan Fellibe and

(26:29):
it fucking was. And he got out and walked like,
looks straight at us.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
And like, I think he clocked you, going, that's Ryan
for Lebey. Do you think I looked straight up and
he clocked us clocking him, and then he parked the
car and walked straight past us.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah. And he's a short king. He's a short king.
He's like shorter than me. And I feel like that
was my cruel intentions. Oh, you would have lost your
shit if it was Sarah Michelle Galla for Sarah, I
would have got a picky Yeah, what have you really?
It didn't feel like a picky opportunity, if I'm honest, No,

(27:08):
it definitely wasn't. It was like a Galla is a
real hard one because that's your ultimate ultimate crush, but
also Buffy, but also I'd kind of want to be
like friends with her. And then I asked, you wouldn't
want to picky. I don't want to picky.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
I feel like that would have been good light for
a photo. I didn't even think about a photo.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
I was I would never get a photo with anyone,
to be honest, But yeah, Sarah Michelle, Oh that's a
that's a hard one. That's a hard one because that's
your favor. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
I feel like Ryan Philipe is, can we just take
a moment for his fifty two?

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Yeah, he looks great. He looks about thirty five. He
literally he maybe looks our age. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
I was like, sir, you look great. In my mind,
I did not say that he does. He does, but
I was like, that's I love seeing people that are
older than us looking great. Yeah, it's inspiring, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
You know who asked me randomly? Met I don't know
like if this ad exists in Australia, but there's an
Old Spice ad. Yeah, everyone knows the Old Spices ad. Yeah,
with the guy and it's like I'm on a horse,
I'm on a boat that guy. Yeah, that's a good ad.
That's a good ad. Yeah, how funny. Oh you look

(28:20):
at us. We're we're back in celebs.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Who's the other one we see all the time, uh Rabisi? Yeah,
Giovanni Giovanni Rabbi see him a lot of air one
and on the reservoir, Silver Lake Reservoir Hike and Scott Spearman. Yeah, anyway,
they must be Silver Lake lost feelers. Maybe maybe lost

(28:44):
lost East Hollywood peeps. Maybe you know, but thank you
for jumping on the potter roof. That's my pleasure and
happy spooky season two speaking. Do you know what Eric
told me yesterday? Well, as of now first November, yes,
you're allowed to for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Absolutely not December first. I'm sorry, he said, November first, No, no, no,
you can put out a poll, but this absolutely is
not going up in our house. I think we can
meet somewhere in the middle, like November twenty eighth.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah, so well, so, Craig said, the day after Thanksgivings
when you meant too, So that'd be about that. But
I was going to say, what about Dad's birthday? November
twenty fifth?

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Okay, okay, I love that. I love you one month
before Chrissy, you know yep? Okay, all right, love you,
love you, Thank you bye.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
That's a wrap on another episode of Fearlessly Failing. As always,
thank you to our guests, and let's continue the conversation
on Instagram. I'm at Yamo Lullaberry. This potty my word
for podcast is available on all streaming platforms. I'd love
it if you could subscribe, rape and comment, and of

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
