Of Fearlessly Failing Hot Seat.

Speaker 2 (00:28):

introduce themself. You can do middle name as well if
you want.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Oh my middle names, I do it in French to
me shared them?

Speaker 1 (00:35):
You Cookina, can you please do it again because I spoke.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Tommy shared them when you cook, Caina. That's very nice,
Tom Cockrell.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
I love the Aussie version.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
At the end, Okay, would you say food wise, you're
sweet or savory?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Er? Sweet?

Speaker 1 (00:51):
What would that meal be like a last meal?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Well?

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Sweet because I like fruit, but I'm not eating fruits
for my last meal.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Okay, then what would the last meal be?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Steak? Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah? Nice? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Nice?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Nice. Do you have a favorite city you've lived around?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
I've lived around. I love Sydney, but I do have
I do love New York.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I know you just got back.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Do you get like a bagel or you to get
a favorite bagel spot or anything?

Speaker 4 (01:23):
There was a place under my bel I wasn't a
big bagel guy. But just martini even martinis are good there.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Do you with them?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
So?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I love a martini? Are we dirty with like a
bit of olive?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Very dirty? Very dirty? Martinia? And I don't.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
I would never get that in Australia because they just
don't make them as well as they do.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Can I give you a hot tip for Australia? Go on,
if you ever got to raise in Byron Bay, it's
on Watergo's beach. They know how to make a martini.
That said, I like.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Probably the only place you get a martini.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Probably I like it with gin, and I like it
with a squeeze of lemon. So no dirty for me,
But I've seen friends get dirty, like a dirty Tito's.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Get it are Titos? Oh wow?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
We think it's so. It's like the best vodka. It's
so clean and easy, and.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
It's like cheap in Target. You can buy it by.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Like the expensive but at least the vodka.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, this is true, This is true.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Okay, we'll try and raise if you go to Barron Bay. Okay,
speaking of Barron Bay, not that you have to answer
it with this, but do you have a favorite nature spot.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, we have a farm out in Orange, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Which is beautiful animals be it. Yeah, there's sheep, cattle
that's working far. I mean it's a big kind of
family thing. We've got cousins on one side, other cousins
on the other. Second cousins of the back padd eggs,
so that Yeah, they have there for Chrissy. We're not
there for Chrissy, but we're there for Easter every year
and it's the big extended family.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Wow. Oh, I'm jealous.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Cattle, we've got motorbikes. We're chasing kangaroos up in the
top hills. It's it's really special.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
That's the our dreamers have a ranch. We just don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
We want to in like Montana, Wyoming or Byron Bay. Yeah, yeah,
I've got I haven't been to Texas yet.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I've got to go Texas. This is awesome.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, well you live there. Okay, what's a quality you
really like about yourself? I know it's hard, those really are.
I know, it's mean, it's mean.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Well, like you said, yeah, I think maybe resilience. You know,
it's I do feel when times are tough, I can
kind of lean on myself, So I'll go with resilience.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
That's like a superpower.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
If you're resilient, you can usually oh this is it
really hit it? Well, I'm going to I teach yogall.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
That I do it alone. I'd lean on people.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I know my people, and I have my friends for
different things or problems. But you know, at the end
of the day, I do feel like I can kind
of get through whatever I need to it.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah, with myself.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
There's this there's this yoga word called shuck shin and
it means you can stand in the fire and just
be a witness, which.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Kind of feels a bit like resilience.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Maybe not, I don't know the comedy rules sitting in
the ship.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah, yeah, you kind of got to get comfy with it, right, Okay,
this is really not fair for me to ask actors
these questions, but it's it's it's a very selfish question
because then I go away and watch or read said thing.
Do you have a play that you could just keep
watching or that you've seen recently.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
You like a play.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, play even something you did in theater school that
you just love.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
We did.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
I mean i'd probably go off school wild importance of
being earnest.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Oh nice.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
But also we did guys and Dolls at school to
the musical and love music from that Curse.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah that was Yeah. I could listen to that over
and over.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yeah, okay, movie movie over and over again.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
So it's not like the Letterbox Top five. It's just one.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
You can do the Letterbox Top five.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
I'm not going to do it that out yet. I've
been working on it for a year.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
I will just do the one I've said my whole life,
which is Indiana Jones. But it's the last one, last Crusade,
I think is the best one because Indiana Jones and
James Bond.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah, right, got it. I have not seen any of them.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I've been on the ride though I felt judgment then No, no, no.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
I know, I know, my face is just embarrassed. No.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Sometimes when I tell friends, I haven't seen like an
epic kind of show.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Star trek again. But I love.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Love Harrison Ford like I love.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
He's also like he's incredible.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Have you seen him in Shrinking?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I haven't seen shrinking.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yet Oh he's so good in it. If you love him,
he's like comedy timing is ten out of ten.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, it's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I highly recommend is. Do you have a book that
you've read recently or something that you're enjoying at the moment.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I go through stages of reading a lot cloud out
lists I read before that the film came out and
that blew me away.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
I've gone back to that affair.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Is that that's not Tim Winton.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I come in the name the author, but it's I
feel like I six stories in wine. It travels through time,
it covers, yes, really everything that makes us human, and
it's just and everything's written in a different style and
it's it's like wow, ten different books in one.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
It's it's beautiful.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Okay, I think I know the answer this final one.
When you get good news, who's the first person your call?

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Cool? Mom?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Spoiler cold? Right before we started recording this good old yeah,
and what was your trick? You're like, if I answer
this normal, if I put.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
On speaker because.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
To make the call fast, I'll put it on speaker
and have you talked to her too? And then she
knows I'm I'm busy in work mode just before the podcast.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Well, she sounds like a legend.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
She's great.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Thank you, my friend.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
I'm sure to thank you. You know that

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
