Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to your diary episode. Here's the thing. I'm a
bit of a nomad, so these episodes come to from
wherever I'm living or traveling to at the time, so
I'll share with you what's going on in my world,
from book tours, animal encounters, delish meals, nature adventures, health
discoveries to swimming in hidden Byron Bay beaches. Come with
(00:25):
me as I share my adventures with you. Hello there, friends,
and hello from Los Angeles. This is your week diary
of all things Ala and Monday's. You would have if
you've listened to it, would have heard the Boss of
(00:46):
Chino and I do a year recap of the pod,
so that was really fun. We actually recorded it about
a month ago because I had to film this influence
I'm probably this is probably Tami, but I had to
film this influence a gig, specifically in a pod studio,
and I said to Matt, it's going to take about
fifteen minutes to film this influencer gig, but you've got
(01:08):
to hire it for an hour. So I was like, oh,
how about we just get ahead of our year wrap up.
So it was very virgal of us to get ridly
ahead of it and that came out on Monday. The
hot Seat is linked to like the highlights of the
year as well, so they're the last two EPs that
have come out. Now, your next two episodes are special
festive episodes. We had the Lovely Hugh Sheridan on two
(01:31):
weeks ago and that kind of kicked off the festive energy.
But the next two episodes are special Christmas releases that
have such a special place in my heart there that
both these episodes just made me feel so good. So anyway,
just to get excited for them, and then I think
after that they're going to be I'm recording in Australia
(01:52):
for a little bit. How exciting. So I think I
mentioned last week the Boss and I were kind of
just in like health mode big time right now. So
we've just been getting to the gym, doing hot yoga,
eating really well, no sugar, no booze, although I did
have a couple of sneaky whiskies with friends last night.
And can I say I'm feeling it. I don't know,
(02:14):
Like I'm a nutritionist so I should know this, but
it's like it's like when your body becomes so clean
and cleansed and detoxified, it's almost like you feel hyper
sensitive when you have something that rocks that boat. Does
that make sense anyway, Really nice, beautiful Japanese whiskey and
had it with a really healthy dinner that the boss made.
(02:36):
And Boss stayed sober as a judge, so he's really
really locked in. But my rule to myself was, if
I have a couple of whiskeys, I still have to
do seven am hot yoga, and I did and we
still did our gym session, so I'm going to call
that a win. I'm going to call that a win.
But yeah, fascinating, just the way the body kind of
like really I cannot feel like isn't there a book?
(03:01):
The body keeps score like it feels like your body
notices it, you know. Anyway, so interesting. We've got an
event tonight and I said to Matt, oh, there's no
way I like, I cannot have a drink, and he's like, well,
I'm not drinking, so it's fine. So yeah, like we're
really loving just being in this health kind of grind
(03:22):
naturally excited to have a drink in Australia, whereas I
am not, like I even said, I was like, oh,
this is making me realize I feel best when I
don't drink very often, because I think in LA, obviously
the Australian alcohol tax is quite high, whereas in LA
it's very cheap to get really beautiful quality whether it's wine, whiskey, gym,
(03:46):
whatever you like to drink, and so it's not gonna
break the bank to have a really beautiful bottle of
sustainable Pinot. Put it that way. I know some people
don't like sustainable. We found a really yummy, local sustainable one. Anyway,
I digress. My point is. My point is, dear friends,
that it was fun, but my bod definitely responded to
(04:13):
it in a way in which I was like, and
I need a cold shower when I wake up to
kind of like get me out of the headspace and
the funk. But so fun. Okay, So the week that was,
I've had a session with my psych and I actually
deliberately booked one the day before. We've like another one
in a couple of weeks. The day before we fly
to Australia because I am someone that can be really
(04:35):
reactive and I'm so excited to see our families. But
the trip, like the moment we land, it is NonStop,
like we've got a couple of days in SIDS, I'm
doing podcasting. We're seeing Matt's Fat Summer, Matt's Family, SIDS,
taking meetings and then straight to Melbourne podcasting meetings, family,
I'm taking Dad to see a Christmas Carol. Like it's
(04:57):
just non stop, and then Christmas Day and then Boxing Day,
we've got big celebrations. And so because we're getting quite
close to Christmas, like we're spending most like alas already
quietened down, like a lot of our Aussie friends are
pieced out and gone, like it's super common to leave
kind of like after Thanksgiving, because things do quieten down
(05:18):
a little bit here in the entertainment industry over the holidays.
But we stayed a little bit longer because we were
here last Christmas and we really liked it. But we
just thought this year would be really really nice to
spend time with our fam and you know, it's summertime
in Australia. Swim in the ocean. Dad has a beautiful
place in Talkie, so we're going to stay with him
(05:39):
for a bit and just like be mermaids and swim
in the ocean. And of course we also have plans
to go to beautiful by and Bay, because that's our real, real, happy,
happy happy place. Okay, since I've told you my whole
crimbo holiday plans, how about I actually talk about the
week that was. Let me get my I've got my
(06:00):
in front of me, I got my diary here, guys,
I'm such a nerd poker. What is the date today? Oh? Wow? December? Okay,
so we're locked in. It's actually a really big full
moon today, a full Moanon Gemini, which affects I believe
the mutable signs, which is Gemini Pisces, Virgo Sagi, so
I'm a Virgo san Vigo moon Sagie rising. So I
(06:23):
feel like we're all going to feel this full moon
today or definitely mutable signs up. Anyway, there's something to
think about. Right after I do this call with you.
I've got a couple of really exciting meetings with Australia,
so I'm just kind of like being just kind of
like really getting in getting as much work as I
can get done in the mornings that I can be
(06:44):
really ready for these Aussie meetings and what else has
been going on this week. I'm trying to think we
have beautiful mahalo gal. I'm reading my diary. By the way,
we have beautiful Mahalo Girl, which is our friend Chanelle's
pub and she's such a dream. She's so easy and
chill and mallow. We took over to her friend's place
(07:07):
for dinns. She's just such an easy gal, easy doggo
and so good with her commands. When you want her
to go to the toilet, you say, get busy, Get busy,
Mahalo And she knows so smart. And when you take
her outside and put a lead on, you go, get dressed,
get dressed smart and she'll get She'll like stand there
(07:28):
and wait for you to put her lead on. It's
so cute. She's a black lab anyway, we love her
so much and it's so fun to look after maids dogs. Okay,
so since we last spoke, it was Thanksgiving. Man. I
just had a really chill Thanksgiving, like literally just him
and I had an air One date and got like
beautiful organic turkey from the hot bar at air One,
(07:50):
Brussels sprouts and these like beautiful carrot like roasted carrot
like while roasted carrots really good. I think we went
back like two days later. It was Black Friday sale
here and there's his place in Los Angeles. But the
other area in LA it's a place called Torrents right
near Manhattan Beach, so not far from the airport. And
(08:11):
they have a shop called boot Barn and it's all
things Western, and they had a big Black Friday sale.
So we went there and I got a pair of boots,
Matt got a pair of boots. Matt got a couple
of shirts. I got a shirt i'm looking at now
because I'm going to put it on for my meetings.
And what else did we get? Oh? And I got
(08:32):
a black cowboy hat. In retrospect, I probably didn't need
the black cowboy hat, but it's so fun and curl
and I can't wait to wear it. I'm going to
bring one cowboy hat to Australia with this. But here's
the thing, not to nerd you out on cowboy hat
etiquette or like how to look after them. You can't
really pack him in your suitcase because I'll lose their shape.
(08:52):
And they're kind of an investment piece. Like they're not cheap,
especially depending on how many exes there are. The X
has to do with what amount it is wool versus beaver,
I believe anyway, So I don't want to take my
really fancy stetson, which is my like sand colored one,
and this black one was a good middle of the
(09:12):
range when I was like should I take that? But
I think I'm going to take because we're moving into summer.
I'm not gonna take my straw hat because I've got
a straw cowboy hat and that's a bit more durable
in that. Like, I'm sure I can just shove it
in my suitcase and pack clothes around it, or have
it in my carry on or attach it, you know
what I mean. I don't think it's going to be
too hard. Matt's like, there's no way you're not taking it.
(09:34):
I'm like, yes I am, sir, Yes i am. Here's
the thing that's hard for us. So we're going to
fly in and when you fly internationally you're allowed thirty
two kilos of luggage. We've taken all up, we've got
everyone presses, all that kind of thing, so we're going
to be on the limbs. But then we've got internal
flights within Australia where the limit is twenty three What
(09:54):
on earth am I going to do? So my first
plan is I'm going to post my brother his presence
from Sydney because he lives in per and I'm not
going to see him over Christmas, like he's not coming
to Melbs or anything like that. So I'm going to
post because he's a fiery so I'm sure we won't
mind me saying this. So you work shifts and like
over Christmas is super busy from what I can gather anyway,
So I'm going to post Tristan his preses when I
(10:18):
say prasies. His birthday is in January, so I'll post
his Christmas and Birthday present from Sydney when I get in,
so that lights the load a little bit. We're staying
with Matt's sister brother in law in Sydney. Got a
prais for them. I'm going to give it to them.
Their lightons the load a little bit, you know. So
that's my plan. I'm just gonna be really strategic. But
(10:41):
we're fine. We're just going to get to Melbs because
that's where we get all the presents go, you know
what I mean anyway, probably an overshare. What else to
tell you. Literally, I've just been trying to take meetings,
be really healthy, hang with the boo, and we just
have been having like a really good time, just like
(11:02):
being in our health era. La is quite chilly at
nighttime now, like you have to wear jumpers or sweaters
or whatever you want to call it if it's early
morning or late night. So when I'm Cody Yogre at
the morning, like you gotta have full sweater hoodies. It
gets cold. But then during the day it gets like
twenty degrees and it's quite sunny, and so it's kind
of nice to be here in this like cozy, real
(11:25):
like kind of mallow time. I don't know, just it's
I'm thinking, also tell you I feel like that is
that is my update. It's feeling a little bit higglety piggledy,
isn't it. I'm just going to quickly pull you Oracle
cards because you know that's my love language and I
love it as always. I know I said this last time.
(11:47):
There will be no breaks for this pod over Chrissy,
so you'll still get Monday long Form, Wednesday Hot Seat
and Friday Diary. The only difference will be able the
diaries will be recorded in real time. I'll really be
recording them in on a Thursday in Australia for a
Friday release. Whereas because the timing is a bit diff
(12:11):
I have to record them differently in America, if that
makes sense. Okay, So I've pulled a past, present future
top of the deck, bottom of the deck. Top of
the deck is soulmate relationship, new romance with the spiritual
biases here for you now. Bottom of the deck is synchronicity.
Your prayers and questions are being answered by synchronistic events.
Notice them in order to increase their flow. Past Healing Heart,
(12:35):
You're a powerful healer. Keep up the great work. Present
divine magic. Oh this is good. Full moon, Gemini energy,
divine magic, extra magical energy surrounds your situation right now.
Expect miracles and then a future to manifest rapidly. Think
of your desire while you chant, hum, sing or play
(12:57):
music music for manifesting. I love that card. So there
you go, Healing Heart, divine magic, music for manifesting, and
then top of the deck soul mate relationship. Bottom of
the deck synchronicity. Pretty cool. I'm wrapped with that with
that pool. So Monday, you're gonna have a nice crissy
episode with these Christmas ones that they were recorded about
(13:23):
a year. One was a year ago, and one was
two So what I do is all. You'll have a
brand new, fresh intro from me, so it'll be like
us chit chatting now, and I'll explain why I love
it so much and all the fun stuff. Hope you,
my friends, have a rip a weekend. Oh I'm touching
the cord and I can hear it. It rip a weekend.
(13:45):
Go out with the stuff you love. And it's a
fullman in Gemini. So notice the good stuff is meant
to be a fated full moon. So notice the good
stuff that comes in. Let go of the stuff that
doesn't serve you and grow, release, move forward, all right, hooru,
big love Fie
