In this episode we speak to Mel Meik about her experience with becoming hairless at age 20, just prior to her 21st Birthday.
Mel found a treatment that worked for her and amazingly her hair grew back.
Sadly this was fairly short lived, as at age 25 she experienced further hairloss only this time it didn't affect the whole head.
From working through the reasons behind these traumatic events and spending time to allow herself to heal Mel fully recovered. The work she put into herself helped her to discover a new career path in hypnotherapy, Emotional freedom technique (EFT) and psychotherapy.
Her belief is that she lost her hair for a reason and without those experiences she wouldn't have moved into a career were she is able to support others dealing with traumas and other conditions.
She continues to work on herself daily and combats her stresses with breathwork, yoga and meditation.
