The Magician is a card of manifestation, creativity, and willpower. But what does that mean outside the lens of patriarchy and capitalism, which teach us to over-power and exploit?
In this episode, I explore Magician work through the lens of working with rather than working on — collaborating rather than dominating. Whether we’re embarking on a creative process, a magical working, or a connection with another being, appreciating their unique gifts and nature is essential if we want to build a healthy, cooperative, generative relationship. Understanding how our tools, ingredients, and collaborators operate is key. And understanding our own nature and power is too.
In this way, Magician work becomes a conversation with elements, ingredients, creatures, and environments, and a divine process that allows us all to express our truth and realize our potential.
