There’s a lot of modern talk about how closure is only truly found within. And TBH? I disagree. I think this is a reaction to a relational culture that’s still pretty averse to deep & honest closure conversations. I think we’ve grown so used to the lack of collaborative closure that we’ve convinced ourselves the need or desire is negligible.
“I never get that, so I don’t need it anyway” might just soften the pain of having a consistently unmet need. But is it really true?
In this episode, I explore what it means to find closure when we can't seem to get it from someone else — and how the grief of heartbreak and loss is more of a spiral than a straight line. I discuss the Two of Pentacles and its connection to balance & burden, and, as always, I unravel the lyrics of a song that capture the essence of this episode's energy.
