Hey there and welcome to Feminine Initiate.
I'm your host, Jesse West. I hope you are doing incredible
and you're enjoying the last fewdays of summer, even though it's
really starting to feel like fall.
And I don't know about you, but the first week of September, I
got so many emails and all of the first lines on these emails
started along the lines of this.Now that summer is over and

we're back to reality and it continued with it's time to
connect and get this meeting in order.
It's time to meet this deadline.It's time to get started back on
this. And it was all projects that
have started in late spring, butthen took a break for the
summer. And now it's time to get back to
reality, back to business. The fall is bringing more
(00:55):
structure. We're getting back to these
deadlines. The year end is approaching and
we're getting back into go mode,feeling like we really need to
be productive and we're kind of abandoning the flow state in the
fun state that we experience in summertime.
Essentially, what this is sayingis that it's time to get back
into prioritizing our masculine energy.
(01:18):
And in this episode, I want to say that it doesn't have to be
that way, that we can still prioritize our feminine energy
while still showing up in our business.
We don't have to abandon fun andflow and pleasure to get back to
meeting deadlines, that we can actually integrate it and
(01:39):
prioritize our feminine side in our life while getting things
done. So I'm going to share seven ways
that we can prioritize our feminine energy during the fall
season as we are all coming backto quote UN quote reality Number
one is to sync with the season. Even though there's still a
(02:00):
couple days left of summer. I'm going to go ahead and say
that it is fall in Northern Ontario.
It is most definitely fall. And I mean pumpkin spice lattes
have been out for like a month now.
So it is fall time. Allow yourself to slow down,
embrace the slowdown that we seein nature.
The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting cooler,
(02:22):
the birds are migrating, the leaves are turning.
Allow yourself to be part of this slowdown Give your body the
rest that it needs, the time that it needs.
If you're feeling tired, allow yourself to go to bed earlier.
And instead of looking at this rest time as unproductive,
reframe it as an investment because the better that you
(02:46):
feel, the better that you will be able to show up for everybody
else in your life. You can choose to be the
energetic leader in your life, in your surroundings, and that
means that you need to prioritize your energy.
And so the more that you prioritize yourself, your need
(03:07):
to rest, replenish your energy, the better that you can be that
positive influence on others. Secondly, it's to cozy up your
environment. Your physical environment plays
such an important role on your energy levels and your mood.
And there are so many beautiful fall decorations available in
(03:28):
the stores right now. The colours are absolutely
gorgeous and the scented candlesare amazing.
I have an Espresso 1 burning right now and it is so delicious
and cozy and just makes me feel so good.
So add whatever you can in your environment by some pictures or
whatever kind of decor you can add blankets, some warm
(03:49):
lighting. Make your space feel really
good. And this will open you U to
creativity and productivity. It'll make you want to be in the
office and be productive becauseit feels so good to be there #3
is to nourish your body deeply. As the weather is getting
cooler, we want to turn towards warming foods.
(04:11):
And so it's time to maybe ease off on the light summer salads
and smoothies and go towards soups, stews, even roasted
veggies, anything with root veggies that really grounds us
into this present moment. And also include immune boosting
(04:33):
herbs into your diet because that's the cooler weather comes
on and fall comes on. We know that this is when
sickness increases. And so if we nourish our body
with plants like elderberry, ginger root, turmeric or even
medicinal mushrooms like reishi,which is one of my go to
favorites. And you can add these in teas,
coffees, soups to really nourishyour body and relish in the
(04:57):
warmth that it is bringing to your mind, body and soul. 4 is
to bring pleasure in ordinary moments.
Your feminine energy is all about pleasure, and we can have
pleasure in any moment. It doesn't have to be reserved
for these big pleasurable experiences, these vacations, or
these big moments of indulgence.We can bring pleasure, have fun
(05:22):
in any moment. This could be as simple as
lighting a candle while you wereare working or journaling.
This could also be adding essential oils to your evening
bath or even just in a diffuser.If you're going to opt for a
diffuser instead of a candle. You can play music in the
background while you're working,cooking, or cleaning the house.
(05:43):
Music is so powerful to shift our energy, help us return to
the present moment. And This is why I created

Right now, I'm focusing on creating a track for each
chakra. And these are 25 minute lofi
beat tracks with subliminals in the background of nourishing and

powerful affirmations to strengthen each of these
chakras. And the intention is to listen
to them in the background while you are being productive at work
or doing whatever it is that youneed to do throughout the day
just in the background. So you can check those out on my

And so whatever you can do, whatever brings you pleasure,
(06:25):
bring that into your ordinary moments because every moment is
truly sacred #5 is to make time for fun.
Just because summers over and beach days are over doesn't mean
that we cannot still have fun. And so prioritize having fun,
whether it's one evening every week or every month, however
(06:48):
your schedule allows it. But really take that time for
you. Your feminine energy flourishes
in community. So prioritize getting together
with your friends or your partner, going for a dinner
night out or maybe a comedy or other events that are happening
in the community, or join a club, whatever you can do just
to continue connecting with others, having that sense of
(07:11):
community, and bringing fun intoyour life. 6 Prioritize
receiving. This might be one of the hardest
things that we can do, but our feminine energy is all about
receiving. We don't have to do everything
alone. It doesn't all have to fall upon
us and rest upon our shoulders. All of the tasks, whatever needs
(07:32):
to be done. And so allowing yourself to ask
for help when you need it and bewise when you decide when it is
that you really need it doesn't mean at the very last when you
were completely energy drained like it is well before that.
So really be in tune with yourself, pay attention and ask
for help when you need it. And this could be someone
(07:54):
helping you at work on a specific task or a project, or
even having someone plan something, taking your hands off
the need to control, which I know is so difficult, but when
we could allow others to really take the reins, we're really
empowering everyone involved. This could even be something as
(08:14):
simple as having your partner cook for you.
And so prioritize receiving. You deserve to receive.
You have done so much. You deserve to be helped,
pampered or warded, loved. Allow yourself to receive all of
that. And lastly, anchor yourself in
gratitude. Take a few moments each morning
(08:38):
to express gratitude for all that you already have and for
what is to come throughout the day.
Gratitude heightens our frequency and it allows us to
set a positive intention for theday to come.
And as we express gratitude and we feel good in this moment, we
are attracting more goodness to us.
(08:59):
We are fueling our desires. Because if we are going to feel
good having reached our desires,which I hope that is the case,
and if not, maybe we need to revisit our desires.
But if we are going to feel goodhaving achieved our desires, but
right now, in this now moment, we're so caught up, we are
(09:20):
feeling so low energy, so overloaded, so fatigued, well,
we're never going to be able to attract that desired result.
We don't attract what we want. We attract what it is that we
are. And when we take a moment to
express gratitude, heighten our frequency, get onto a frequency
(09:40):
of receivership, of abundance, of feeling completely fulfilled,
well, that is how our desired result is attracted to us.
And that's also how we end up feeling fueled into more
positive action, action that doesn't drain us, but that
actually feels fulfilling and good and creates that end result
(10:03):
that we truly want. And so these are seven ways that
we can prioritize our feminine energy as we are entering into
this fall season, entering into this last quarter of the year,
when it's really going to get busier, demands are going to be
higher as we're approaching yearend.
And when we can prioritize our feminine energy, we won't get so
(10:27):
bombarded with the masculine. We won't get so sucked into the
masculine energy that go, go, gomode, doing, doing, doing all
the time, reaching exhaustion. We're going to come in with this
balanced energy and this state of alignment.
And this is when life really feels good.
