Angel Mason, Athletic Director for Berry College, joins Glenn on the Field for the next segment of the series, “The Truth Behind Playing D-I, D-II, D-3, JUCO, and HBCU Sports”. Angel discusses what it’s really like being a student athlete at a D-3 program, the benefits of playing D-3 athletics, and how D-3 programs are just as competitive as D-I and D-II schools. Angel shares the eligibility and recruiting process for D-3 sports, what D-3 coaches are looking for in their athletes, the negative reputation that is often associated with D-3 sports, and why athletes should never feel that non-DI sports aren't high quality collegiate athletics. She also discusses how D-3 athletes can finance their education, the typical day of a D-3 athlete, and how to get drafted to play professional sports from a D-3 school. Angel also shares how to determine if D-3 athletics is the right fit for your athletic talent and dispels the misconceptions often associated with D-3 programs.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
