TW: Suicide, Sexual Assalt, Murder, Violence, Residential Schools.
Today we are reviewing a movie called the Grizzlies. It is an independent film based on a true story of a youth lacrosse team from Kugluktuk, Nunavut. ( I did my best to pronounce that, and honestly, I think I nailed it!) Our review is, I am sure not surprising to our frequent listeners, but all over the place. We talk a little about World Indigenous People Day, some of the struggles of the movie, and the residential schools that the Indigenous people were forced into. (one of our dogs made an appearance with his lovely dancing)
