SPEAKER_00 (01:01):
Hey y'all.
Welcome back to the Find YourEdge podcast.
I am grateful you are here, andhappy Thanksgiving.
Today's episode is short butpowerful.
Thanksgiving can easily becomeabout food, the schedule, the
travel, the chaos, the noise.

(01:22):
But at its core, this holiday isabout gratitude, being present
with what we have, who we have, who we are, and where we are in
this moment.
We often don't slow down enoughto notice the good that is
already here.

(01:43):
So today, I want to invite youto take a breath and simply be.
Instead of rushing, instead ofmonitoring your food, instead of
thinking of what you should orshouldn't eat, try shifting or
reframing your focus to whoyou're with, what feels joyful,

(02:06):
what you're grateful for, andwhat today truly means to you.
So I encourage you to, if you'rein a position where you can
close your eyes and take a deepbreath in and out.
And let's do that again becauseI can probably guarantee you

(02:27):
that you probably haven't donethis today.
So just take a deep breath inand a nice long breath out.

Now ask yourself (02:38):
who are you grateful for today?
Maybe it's you.
Maybe it's some loved ones.
Maybe it's some friends.
Maybe it's a pet.
What small joy is present herethat you might otherwise

(02:59):
overlook?
And it doesn't matter how smallor big or poignant or not, it
might be that your joy is in themashed potatoes that are on the
table.
And don't overlook that, right?
Another one to ask yourself ishow can I honor my body?

(03:22):
And how can I honor this moment?
So I know a lot of you folks areoften coming to us because you
want to push your body to dosomething different or beyond
what you may think it's capableof, or that you want to change
your body in some way.

(03:42):
And I encourage you to honoryour body today, at whatever
shape, size, ability, expressthat gratitude.
Food is just one part of theday, and don't let it overshadow
the meaning of the entire dayfor your body, for your loved

(04:05):
ones, for any of that.
So whether you're celebratingbig today or keeping it quiet or
navigating something complex,I'm grateful for you, for your
effort, for your growth, and foryour heart in this journey.

(04:25):
Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.
I hope today feels full in waysthat matter most to you.
Thanks for listening and have awonderful holiday.
