So how in the world are you supposed to find your purpose when you're stuck in a job you hate or in a relationship with someone who's not supportive, or in any of the other hard places we find ourselves?
In today's episode of FIND YOUR PURPOSE NOW Podcast, we talk about finding our purpose in EVERYTHING we do and in every aspect of our lives. It's in the difficult, even dead-end-feeling situations that we learn the lessons and acquire the character traits and abilities that we will need for the next chapter of our lives.
When we focus on the details of everything that frustrates us, we have small perspective and small power, but when we back up and look at the bigger picture and find meaning in the work we're doing or in our relationships, we gain a larger perspective which is accompanied by more power.
Perhaps the most important aspect of this conversation is that when we say to God, "Your will be done," we can be assured that every situation we find ourselves in can move us closer to our purpose. Pause and think about that for a moment. When you embrace where you are, try to make the best of it, find meaning in it, and learn all you can from it, God will move you through it and on to the next step on the path towards fulfillment of your purpose.
This is true even for the most difficult situations. Even those things that are consequences of our own questionable choices can be worked together for our good so that they become stepping stones to His perfect plans for our lives.
Whatever work we do gives us dignity. If we will find the meaning in everything we do, we can enjoy even the difficult aspects of our lives--we can laugh without fear of the future!
Living your purpose every day for the rest of your life is your antidote to depression, sadness, despair and all the problems that can be associated with those things.
Your purpose is real success, and it includes healthy relationships with good people, peace, joy, wellness, financial stability and a sense of contentedness that cannot be attained any way other than through living your purpose.
So please listen every week as we continue to move toward finding and living the purpose for which you were born and perfectly matched.
