I was recently asked to give a talk to the local Rotary Club. It was a new term for the president, and she asked if I could speak about "legacy" and the importance of what every single member was doing for the community.

I wanted them to know that legacies come in many sizes and shapes.
And that the greatest legacy isn't something they leave behind--it's what they leave for the future.
Sometimes we think a legacy has to be big and bold, when in reality it can be the sum of the small acts we share and do for others.
