Episode XXVIII - Dr. Eitan Bar's 'Why Don't Jews Believe In Jesus?'- An Introduction by Gadi Hyer

Shalom Aleikhem, my dear listeners, believer and nonbeliver alike! All glory be to Messiah Yeshua! I do apologize for taking so long to return to you all. The reason for my absence is due to the heavy reading and research of a new book that has come to my possession via Amazon, written by my dear friend and fellow Israeli brother in Messiah Yeshua, Dr. Eitan Bar. Eitan is an Israeli born believer in Messiah Yeshua who also happens to have a bachelor's, masters and doctorate in Theology. He is also the former director of One For Israel ministries. I hold Eitan's thoughts and opinions in VERY high regard! I am friends with Eitan on Facebook and had explained to him a while back that I had felt called to the Gentiles to remind them of the biblical Jewishness of Messiah Yeshua and His Good News. He told me that if indeed my calling is to the Gentiles then I must read his book titled "Why don't the Jews believe in Jesus?". After a long while, I just recently acquired said book. It DOES NOT disappoint! Covering an array of issues, Dr. Bar's book touches on topics that I myself had addressed previously in both podcast episodes IX "Do Not Boast Against The Branches" and VIII "Episode VIII - Passive & Active Antisemitism Inside & Outside of the Gentile 'Church' of America". These topics of discussion and debate are namely the phenomenon within the church called "Replacement Theology" and also Christian Antisemitism - Blatant hatred towards anything Jewish, not even excluding the Jewish people, all while the writings of Paul clearly state that even though they are enemies to The Good News, they are to be loved for the Patriarch's sake, as stated in Romans 11 Romans (Rom) 11:28-32 CJB [28] "...With respect to the Good News they are hated for your sake. But with respect to being chosen they are loved for the Patriarchs’ sake, [29] for God’s free gifts and his calling are irrevocable. [30] Just as you yourselves were disobedient to God before but have received mercy now because of Isra’el’s disobedience; [31] so also Isra’el has been disobedient now, so that by your showing them the same mercy that God has shown you, they too may now receive God’s mercy. [32] For God has shut up all mankind together in disobedience, in order that he might show mercy to all..." Through Eitan's book, I intend to dive deep into all the areas that prevent my own people the Jews from coming to the revelation of YHVH in Messiah Yeshua, beginning with the lies that us Jews have taught ourselves for the past 2000 years and how the Pharisaic rabbinate has deliberately kept Yeshua away from its own people for that same amount of time, to the atrocities that were done to the Jews in the Name of Jesus and the real problem of Christian Antisemitism and Replacement Theology. Last but never least, I will discuss the problem of what Gentile Christians tell us Jews about our God and the fact that the Jewishness of the Good News of Yeshua has been contaminated with false doctrine. The Jews continue to reject the Good News of Salvation through Messiah Yeshua because it has, perhaps even deliberately, lost in original Jewish identity and message. Dr. Eitan Bar knows full well what I intend to do with his book and has given me full creative freedom as long as it glorifies YHVH ELOHIM, His Anointed Holy One of Israel and Rüakh HaKodesh Holy Spirit Who brought Him back from the Dead!
