What happens when the world's sacred scriptures, advocating love and peace, are drowned out by the cacophony of hate tearing through religious communities? That's the conundrum we tackle alongside Richard Ravenbrook, as we address the glaring contrast between the spiritual ideals of unity and the destructive reality of conflict, particularly in regions like Gaza. With a perspective that challenges the norm, our dialogue with Richard not only shines a light on the discord but also beckons a transformation towards genuine Christ consciousness, where actions speak louder than words.

This episode is an urgent plea for an era where respect outshines division, a time when spirituality transcends the dogmatic and blooms into a force that unites rather than divides. We traverse the landscape of modern spirituality, deconstructing Christianity's alignment with its Jewish roots, and advocating for a future where religion uplifts humanity. Our heart-to-heart with Richard Ravenbrook is a call to arms—except these arms embrace non-violence and champion the innate value of our shared humanity. Listen in as we envision a world built on the bedrock of justice, equality, and love—a world where the soldiers' weapons are laid down in favor of protection and where peace is a reality, not a distant dream.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everyone.
I am Richard Ravenbrook and ofcourse, this is the Pagan
Preacher Coming at you.
Today I want to do a special.
It's going to be a little bitshorter than the normal podcast,
but I need to talk aboutsomething.
The Spirit has really laid onmy heart heavy and I've been

(00:20):
talking about it, but today it'sjust extremely and extremely
heavy.
Searching through the internetseems like everywhere I go, you
just see so much hate in thisworld.
So much hate from those thatclaim they know divinity, so

(00:44):
much biasness and bigotry Fromthose that say they love God's
creation.
We're confused in this world, aren't we?
We focus our attention, ourthoughts, our desires All upon

(01:05):
books left to us by men that wedon't even know, by people we
don't even know.
We base our religious beliefs, our daily walks upon what we're
told is right and what we'retold is wrong, and what we're
told is right and what we'retold is wrong.

(01:26):
And many of us have forsakenthe real, true connection
between us and the spiritualworld.
Because I've said this many, many times that you cannot
understand spiritual things ifyou're afraid of the spiritual.
Most churches, most doctrines, most religious people in today's

(01:48):
world are afraid ofspirituality.
They're afraid of gettingsomething wrong.
We've got to stay within ourbook.
We've got to stay withinwhatever our teacher tells us to
, and we have gone astray.
We have lost everything that weso dearly say we desire.

(02:11):
I'm going to use gaza again foran example, this war between
israel and the palestinianpeople and I know there's other
things going on around the worldbut I'm going to focus on this
because, right now that this iswhere spirit lays so heavy, I

(02:33):
hear the bickering, the battlingthat goes back and forth.
Well, they did this, so we dothis, and they did this, so
we're going to do this.
And they did this, so we'regoing to do this.
So much hate, so little loveFrom people that claim to be the

(02:57):
chosen people of God.
Death, destruction, childrendying in their beds, women,
children dying in their beds, women, young men that have
nothing to do with this battleor this war, this debate, dying
in their sleep.
Why people argue whether it'sright or wrong to kill children.

(03:19):
At the same time, here in thiscountry, we want to debate
abortion and saying that Goddoesn't accept it.
God hates killing children.
But at the same time, we've gotpeople that support it, as long
as they're Palestinian.
No one's going to tell me thatthe man that you call Jesus,

(03:41):
yeshua, would ever accept orcondone what is happening?
And how can we be, or how canthey be, god's people if they
deny his own son?

(04:03):
We all know that most of theJewish religion despises
Christianity in its essencebecause most Jews do not believe
that Yeshua was the Savior.
You call him Jesus, but we know.
We know deep within our heartthat what is happening is wrong,

(04:26):
but we are afraid sometimes tostand up.
We're afraid to say what Spirithas laid on our hearts, because
we know it.
But our religious leaders keepsaying I stand with Israel.
I stand with Israel, and you dounderstand that you can stand
with Israel and still notcondone what its leaders are

(04:49):
doing.
You do know that you can callfor coexistence, mutual
agreement, mutual respect.
There can be peace, there canbe peace throughout this world
If we can first get past thebiasness and the bigotry within

(05:11):
religion.
Spirituality goes way pastreligion.
Spirituality is not justunderstanding what the divine
would do in a book, but knowingfirsthand what the divine would
do within you through youractions.
Because it's not after us tofollow a christ, but it's after

(05:34):
us to be a christ, for christconsciousness upon this planet,
to be god, to be the divinitythat walks upon this earth.
That's why he came to show uswhat we are supposed to do.
We lack doing that.

(05:54):
We lack even the fundamentalbasics of humanity understanding
that two wrongs don't make aright and just because one side
hurts another side, it does notgive the right to hurt innocent
people.

(06:14):
Somewhere it's got to stop.
All battles, all wars, alldebates have to stop.
Somewhere Someone has to drawthe line and say no more, no
more, say no more, no more death, no more hate.
Why don't we just figure thisout right here, right now, and

(06:36):
go into it, go into the table, knowing that you're coming out
with an end to the hate.
You know, when you go in, thatyou're going to come out of that
not the same, because you'renot going to go in with the same
biasness and the same bigotryand the same hate and the same

(06:57):
anger and the same wrath thatyou went in with last time.
It can't keep continuing.
Religion has separated us allfor thousands of years one
person saying they have the onlytruth and another person saying
that they have the truth, andeveryone trying to, or everyone

(07:22):
feeling that they have to, forcepeople to believe what they
believe or somehow they're goingto be punished.
And it's ridiculous because youtake things out of context.
You take things in a way thatyou don't even understand.
Most of you don't even know theone that you follow, the one

(07:45):
that you claim to be your Savior, you don't even know.
You don't even know the onethat you follow, the one that
you claim to be your Savior, youdon't even know.
You don't even know his name, his real name.
Most of you don't even knowwhat he did after 12 years old.
Look within the 66 books ofyour Bible when did Jesus go
from 12 to 32?
And if you can't tell me that, then you don't know the man.

(08:10):
And if you don't know the man, then how do you follow the man?
How do you hold an entirereligion upon a man you don't
even know?
Because the church, the church,is no more than the Roman
Empire and you follow afterdisciples, not after the Christ.

(08:32):
And I know right now I'mprobably preaching more to
Christians and those that haveeven left the Christian church
and deconstructing but have hadChristian roots, or those that
don't hold a religion at all buttheir families are Christian,
and they're all saying the samething.
We all support Israel, but weneed to understand that we can't

(08:57):
support what they're doingright now.
We can't support purposelystarving children.
We can't support the massmurder of babies, little
children, mothers.
You can't tell me that it'sacceptable to kill a thousand if

(09:21):
we might get one.
That's not acceptable, not inmy world.
We have weapons today that areprecision weapons, precision
targeted weapons, where we canpractically they can destroy a

(09:42):
squirrel, practically from spacepeople, and we doubt that they
don't understand where thesepeople are, where they're hiding
or where.
Basically, all I'm saying isthey know people, they know what
they're doing and they're doingit on purpose, and it's sad.

(10:05):
But what's even sadder is wehave people that support it.
Now I see even the UnitedStates.
I see people beginning toprotest, beginning to picket.
I see people have to be Muslimor any belief within the

(10:31):
Palestinian people to stand forhumanity and say that the
Creator loves you as much as heloves anyone else and that my
Creator told me that I need tolove his creation, all creation,

(10:52):
and that if it be possible tolive at peace with all mankind.
And there is a way, and it'snot forcing your religion down
someone's throat, it's simplemutual respect.
Simple mutual respect.

(11:14):
That's all it takes.
Don't be offended at whatsomebody else believes, because
it's not for you to be offended.
Don't worry about what'shappening down the street that
you don't believe in or it goesagainst your religion, because
you have all rights to stay homeand not attend.
Stop worrying about what yourneighbor is doing and worry

(11:37):
about what you're doing, orsometimes, like we're talking
today, worry about what you'renot doing, that you're not
standing up for humanity,because you've been bow-breeding
, beating and brainwashed intobelieving that certain people
are bad and certain people areevil.
Certain people are followingthe devil.

(11:58):
That's ridiculous.
This is humanity, and allhumanity deserves Happiness,
love, equality, fairness andjustice.
Israel must be or should I saythe leadership of Israel must be

(12:24):
punished for the war crimesthat they have committed.
And I call upon all those thathave a love for humanity, have a
love for planet Earth, to standwith the Palestinian people,
maybe even stand for both thePalestinian people and the

(12:48):
Israel people.
Maybe, maybe we can get to thepoint where religion isn't an
aspect.
Does that make any sense?
Any good meteor understandsboth sides, because there's

(13:08):
always two sides to the story.
There's always someone else'sversion and you can't listen to
just one side.
We must listen to both sidesand we must know the truth for
what it is, because there'sbiasness and there is anger and

(13:31):
there is false stories withinboth sides, I'm sure.
But as adults, we need to showthe children that we are capable
of peace, that we are capableof doing what we preach every
day, what we teach every day.

(13:52):
We, as adults, we like to say alot of pretty things, but we
don't do them in real life, dowe?
We want to tell our childrenthat we need to have mutual
respect, that we need to acceptpeople for who they are, that we
need to love each other andtreat each other as we would

(14:14):
want to be treated, and then wego out and we disregard the
things that make us civilizedhuman beings.
All over the world, thesethings are happening.
It's happening between God andthe Israelites, it's happening

(14:36):
between it's in the UnitedStates and Germany and France.
It's all over the world.
And you know, you just kind ofpause, because spirit it's
almost something that you can'ttouch with words, but it has to
be done with spirit.

(14:57):
Spirit has to touch you intounderstanding, to understand
that.
You know, and I keep going back, because that's the only way I
can get the people that need tohear this to understand that the

(15:22):
man you call Jesus did not cometo die on the cross.
He came to teach you to be ofChrist consciousness, to be like
him and to learn the thingsthat he learned when Jesus was
12, he went to Egypt.

(15:44):
He left Egypt and he went toTibet.
He left Tibet and he went toIndia.
He taught many things that thechurch today would say was
heresy, blasphemy.
But yet there's documentationand proof of all of this all
over the world.
But your church will not teachyou this.

(16:06):
They don't want you to knowthese things because it goes
against the doctrine of control.
They don't want you tounderstand the truth.
They want you fighting.
They want you arguing.
Stop following after disciples.
If you're going to be aChristian, then be Christ-like.

(16:31):
That means most of the bookthat you read is nothing about
the man you call Jesus, yeshua.
The war in Gaza has to end andI'm calling upon everyone to do

(16:53):
your part to end it.
We don't want to go to war withIsrael.
We want peace with Israel.
But what will Israel do?
Will it yield to humanity andfairness and justice?
Will it yield to love equalityor will it continue to murder,

(17:22):
kill, rape and destroy all thethings that the man you call
Jesus is not?
We see a lot of hatred.
We see a lot of hatred.
We see a lot of war within theOld Testament, but the Old
Testament is Jewish.
The Torah it comes from anentirely different religion.

(17:50):
The Christian church took theTorah and they used it for
themselves, but it really hasnothing to do with that religion
at all.
It's part of what Jesus learned, yes, up until the age of 12,
when he left for Egypt to beginlearning the Egyptian mysteries.

(18:17):
Take some time, listen to whatI'm saying, but more so, listen
to what Spirit is saying.
World peace is available and wedon't have to end religion.
We just have to understandreligion, understand that it's

(18:42):
for each person to follow theirown path and that we need to
respect that path.
We need to respect even thethings that we don't understand,
because there are certainthings in certain religions that
you may not be able tounderstand is acceptable,

(19:04):
because in your perception it isnot, because that's the way you
were raised.
But we have to understand thatjust because your perception
says it's wrong doesn't meanthat it's wrong.
It just means you see it aswrong.
But the truth of the matter is,truth goes way past perception,

(19:24):
and until spirit really getsinvolved, it begins pointing
things out.
We have to lean upon spiritualunderstanding.
I'm calling upon the wars to end, and it's really simple, you
know how.
Upon the wars to end, and it'sreally simple.
You know how simple it is toend war.

(19:46):
Soldiers, put your guns down.
Military men and women simplysit down.
Say no.
Leave those people that aredemanding you murder.
Let them do it themselves.
Your God says that it's yours, then let your God claim it.

(20:12):
But as far as we, the humanrace, us, humanity, we will not
lift a finger in anger or inhate.
We will not destroy in vain.
We will only protect.

(20:34):
Be blessed everybody, andblessed be.
