What if the very institutions we rely on are failing us? Join me, Richard Ravenbrook, as we explore the urgent necessity for unity in today's fractured world. This episode of "Leaving Religion" takes a hard look at the interconnectedness of our global and domestic crises, from natural disasters in the U.S. to conflicts in Gaza. I challenge you to rethink conventional notions of good and evil, and to see beyond the divisive indoctrinations that keep us apart. Together, let's discuss the importance of building community-based support systems that transcend religious and governmental dependencies, emphasizing the power within each of us to drive meaningful change.

In the next segment, we examine the ethics of blind patriotism and the true motivations behind international conflicts. Is fighting for a country that prioritizes resource acquisition over humanity truly noble? Reflecting on the importance of defending one's home and community, I critique the destructive forces of consumerism and environmental degradation. Drawing on ancient wisdom that values balance with nature, I call for a collective return to compassion and sustainability. This heartfelt episode is an appeal to reclaim our divinity and humanity, fostering a world where love and mutual assistance are paramount. Be blessed, and visit my website for more resources and support.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome everyone.
Welcome back to another episodeof leaving religion, formerly
the pagan preacher podcast.
I am Richard Ravenbrook, andwhat spirit wants to talk about
today is what's going on aroundour country right now.
What's going on around ourcountry right now?
What's going on around ourcountry right now has been going

(00:25):
around our world just in adifferent aspect.
Over the last several months, areas like Gaza and other areas
have been bombarded, childrenmurdered, the streets bombed in

(00:52):
their sleep.
This week, mother Nature kindof did it to us and we kind of
get the feeling of thedesperation that all these other
people around the world havebeen having for months.
The spirit has been warning formonths, if not years, that we

(01:17):
need to come together again, that it's not about religion,
but it's about us.
You know, ozzy Osbourne sayssomething a long time ago you
know that it didn't matter whoyour divine power was, without

(01:41):
each of us we'll never make it.
That's not an exact quote, butthat's what he said and it's
true that you can believe allyou want to believe, that unless
we find a way to come togetherin our mutual interest, in our

(02:03):
common interest, lay down thesefoolish indoctrinations of
religion that separate us, thisignorance of what is good and
what is evil, because what isgood and what is evil is

(02:23):
different for each person evil, because what is good and what is
evil is different for eachperson.
And what you perceive is evilbecause you were taught it is
evil doesn't mean that itactually is evil.
Our perception, ourunderstanding in this country is
slim to none at the best.
We are ignorant of where wecome from.

(02:47):
We're ignorant of our history.
What is taught in our schoolsis untruth and simply lies for
the most part.
You know, we, most of us, don'teven know what happened 50 to

(03:15):
They don't know the truthanyway.
We listen to the news.
The news media that's on TV,the biased news, and this media
that's on TV, the bias news, andthis isn't just, you know, a
conspiracy theorist kind ofstuff.
It's been proven time and timeagain that our news media cannot

(03:40):
be trusted, that they work forthe corporate interest, and that
is in that.
There is no doubt.
The things that we've beenseeing all over the world that's
not broadcasted on the newsmedia and if it is, it's
broadcasted in a differentperspective lies, and we're

(04:01):
beginning to see that now in theUnited States with the
catastrophe and the disastersthat happened in Florida and
North Carolina and Tennessee andvarious other areas Devastation
everywhere, death everywherewe're beginning to see that our
own government isn't going to bethere for us.

(04:22):
Spirit is trying to tell usagain, this time with an iron
fist, and it's time we learn tocome together again and let go
of this entitlement society, where we depend on a government,

(04:45):
where we depend on someone elseto save us rather than us
saving ourselves, rather thanour communities coming together,
not in what they think they canprofit out of it, but because
it's simply the right thing todo.
People everywhere.

(05:07):
You know, where is ourreligious bodies right now?
Where are the religious peoplewhen all this is happening?
Because they should haveimmediately, without hesitation,
been given 100% towards helpingthe people in these disasters,

(05:32):
without question of morality orwhat religion they were or
anything.
But they should have been there.
But we all should have beenthere.
But we all should have beenthere.
We all should be there.
I know not all of us can justpack up and leave our jobs and

(05:53):
just go help, but there are waysfor us to help.
We can organize differenttrucks of water, food supplies,
we can organize and send acouple that dozens of families

(06:16):
are supplying.
There's always ways.
There's always ways that youcan help.
Maybe take in someone thattheir home has been destroyed,
maybe simply whatever it is, thespirit lays on your heart.
But I think right now we're,because it's a we're being shown

(06:40):
something, not just simply thatour government isn't there,
that we lost we, the people, many years ago, but that we lost
each other, leaving religion.
Religion has had a hold on thiscountry for centuries, since its

(07:02):
foundation, and look where weare, look where it's got us that
.
It's every person forthemselves, everyone depending
on the government, and if youneed anything from religious
people, then you have to obey bytheir.

(07:25):
You have to become members ofthe church or you have to do
this.
You have to do that.
I know because I was there.
I saw church politics.
I was there for 20 years.
I saw it.
I know how they work and itgrieves the spirit.
And what I'm saying iseverything that has been done

(07:47):
has not worked.
Look where we are.
Our country is in total turmoiland don't say, well, that's
because you know evil is risingup in this country and we need
to take it back for God.
Your own belief says that Godis in control.

(08:08):
Everything that has been donehas been allowed.
Every door that has been openhas been accessed by the divine,
enabled by the divine, becauseeven your scripture says that
God even creates evil.
It's what we do with what weknow inside.

(08:37):
Even Yeshua, what you call Jesus, said the kingdom of God is
within you, it's within us,jesus.
Yeshua did not follow the samepath as the Pharisees.
Thus he didn't follow the samepath of the church, because the

(09:00):
Pharisees were the leaders ofthe current church at that time.
So when you begin to leavereligion, you begin to tell
people that we need to cometogether, that we need to look
within ourselves instead oflooking outwardly or depending
on a church or depending on agovernment, that we need to

(09:22):
exercise our own divinity andmake our own choices, that we
don't need to pray to anotherGod, that we have the power
within us to make such change.
Because even Yeshua said if youhad the faith of a mustard seed
, you could tell that mountainto move and it would be moved.

(09:43):
Where is your belief now?
Where is your power now?
Labels and perception havecompletely destroyed this
country and a majority of theworld.
Bad religious leaders trying toconvince everybody that

(10:06):
anything outside the four wallsof the church is evil and they
label it as such.
And then they label that asevil.
You know, I have many paganfriends.
I have many friends that labelthemselves as witches, white
witches, whatever you want toconsider.

(10:28):
There's all kinds of differentbut it's all the same.
Magic is neither black norwhite, but neutral.
It is what it is.
It is what it always has been.
It's the heart of theindividual that makes things
good or evil.
But I've seen religious leaders.
It's the heart of theindividual that makes things
good or evil.
But I've seen religious leaderspoint to these people with no

(10:55):
knowledge of these people, noknowledge of their character, no
knowledge of their history, noknowledge of what they do, and
they condemn them for a labelbecause that label has been
tarnished and blackballed andblackwashed by religious leaders
for centuries.
But just because they do that,it doesn't make it real.

(11:18):
How do you judge something thatyou know nothing about?
Do you know that these peopleheal, that they use herbs and
different things of the earth toheal people, that they help
create a positive atmosphere, positive energy, not only of

(11:42):
physical healing, but emotionaland spiritual healing, but
emotional and spiritual healing, what you label as bad is what
we need.
Many times the church has hadover 200 years in this country
to make this country what theysaid it should be and they

(12:05):
failed.
It's been an utter and completefailure and there is no
prophecy.
You know I'm not saying thatwell, it's prophecy that
everyone's going to walk away.
Do you know why religiouspeople know prophecy?

(12:26):
Because it's already happenedbefore.
You know why it's in thesebooks to continue with a cycle
that has been going on forgenerations and generations and
generations of humanity, keepingus in this loop of ignorance,

(12:46):
locked into a matrix that neverwants us to be enlightened and
to grow.
But we've got to come out ofthis Prophecy.
Many times, not always, I'm notsaying there isn't such thing
as prophecy, because there is.
There is spiritual insight, butwe know certain things are

(13:12):
going to take place because theyalready have taken place before
.
Everyone knows that earth'scycle is every 12 000 years.
We know this well.
Those that have studied andresearched and understand know

(13:32):
this that we know that every12,000 years the earth heals
herself by destroying,obliviating, reforming and
restructuring.
But we have spent our livesbuilding monuments of humanity,

(13:54):
huge buildings, and we think aregonna last forever, rather than
just taking the time toenjoying Mother Earth, the
creatures, the creatures thatwe've allowed to go extinct,
because sometimes humanityspreads like roaches, not caring
about what resources we areconsuming, what resources we are

(14:21):
taking from who, and the deaththat we cause around us by
taking too much.
You know, even the NativeAmericans knew with the buffalo,
they only took what they needed.
Americans are selfish, greedy.
We're getting fat, we'respoiled.

(14:43):
Everything we need we can justorder from a grocery store.
Many of us don't even have toleave our house anymore.
We can just have it deliveredto the door.
Anything we want, anything weneed, we can.
Just as long as we have a job,we can buy it.
We don't know how to earn itanymore.
Or we don't know how to make itanymore.

(15:05):
Harvest it, hunt it, fish it wedon't even teach those things
in school anymore.
Harvest it, hunt it, fish it wedon't even teach those things
in school anymore.
You know, leaving religion isabout finding our way back to
ourselves.
It's about finding our way backto those pagan roots.
You know, pagan simply meanscountry dweller.

(15:27):
It was those people that werefar enough outside of the
church's influence that theystill follow the old ways, or
people that decided that theywere going to follow the old
ways and disregard the threatsof the church.
But the word pagan got a blackstain on it by the church.

(15:51):
Pagan became a bad term, anevil term, that if you said you
were a pagan, all of a suddenpeople believe that you somehow
serve or worship the devil, whenalmost all pagans don't even
believe in a biblical devil.

(16:12):
Because when you really trulyget to studying and
understanding that there is nobiblical hell, there is no devil
.
Is there good and evil?
Yes, there's good and evil inus.

(16:33):
We create such things with ourintent, with our minds, with our
words.
You know, our words arepowerful.
They manifest into reality.
When we're negative all thetime, we create negative
atmospheres.
We'll begin to be positive.

(16:57):
What would happen if we all cametogether, not in a religious
way, but in a way where we wereall looking within us, looking
within ourselves, looking aroundour country?
And just what would we do if wejust started loving each other

(17:17):
again?
Not, I mean we can't likeeverybody, because there's going
to be somebody out there thatwe simply cannot agree with.
But that does not mean wecannot coexist with them, that
we cannot work with them in themutual interest of things.

(17:39):
We've lost the ability to worktogether.
We've lost the, we, the people, and it's just me and them now,
or us and them.
It hasn't failed because of badpoliticians.

(18:02):
The United States is failingbecause of us, by failed
patriots that have refused tostand in fear due to a slavery
built around debt, that peopleare afraid, afraid to actually

(18:28):
do anything outside of the norm.
You know, go to work, pay bills, because that's what works,
that's what keeps, and, in anaspect, that's kind of like
paying off the bullies, so youdon't get beat up, it's easier,
isn't it?
Well, as long as I just go towork and I do my job, I come

(18:48):
home, I can pay my bills and Iget to have a house and, you
know, I get to eat.
I get to do little things hereand there.
Of course, if I ever stoppaying those things or if I ever
lose my job, I'm probably goingto lose it all, because I never
really owned it to begin.
With.
Taxes, the government justtakes it away, but we go through

(19:13):
this cycle all the time, unableto break free.
People say, well, I just don'tknow where to start.
If you do, you just have tohave the courage to begin, and

(19:33):
it begins by looking withinourselves, laying down the
swords of religion and pickingup just a hand to humanity.
These people are devastated.
This hurricane didn't just wipeout one area.
It is wiping out homes, businesses, people.

(19:56):
People are dying still.
And what do we do?
Are we mad because thegovernment's not doing anything?
Are we mad because certaingovernment's not doing anything?
Are we mad because certainorganizations aren't doing
anything?
But, at the same time, may theSpirit work on each one of us

(20:22):
about what we're doing, what wecan do, even if it's just
speaking, a positive affirmationto bless these people, that may
they find refuge, may they findfood and water, may they find a

(20:44):
helping hand that pulls themfrom the water, even down to the
smallest animal.
May they be saved because theyare our brothers and our sisters
and all creatures, great andsmall.
They are our responsibilitybecause they are our family.

(21:11):
All of us are family.
All of us come from the sameplace, the same origin.
We look different, we actdifferent, we talk different,
but in reality we are the same.
But yet we have spent centuriesfighting over land and power

(21:38):
and resources because we'reafraid that if we give, if one
person, one tribe, one culturehas more than the rest, then
they become a superpower, kindof like we did in the United

(22:00):
States.
And being ex-military, beingex-minister, I've seen things
and know things and understandthings that many people can't
phantom.
When you say that I love mycountry and I'd do anything for
it, I'd die for it, I ask you atthis point in time, why would

(22:24):
you die for a country that caresnothing for you?
Would I defend my country?
I mean, would I defend my home?
Surely.
Would I defend my community?
Yes.
Would I defend against peoplethat we're coming against and

(22:46):
wanting to hurt my brothers andsisters around me?
Yes.
But would I just ignorantlypack up and go overseas and
fight for a country that I knowcares nothing about me and cares
nothing about the people thatthey desire me to go kill, the

(23:11):
people that they desire me to gokill, that they're sending
Americans overseas to kill inthe name of resources, in the
name of oil?
And where do we draw the line?
Where do we draw the line andtake our country back, take our

(23:33):
life back?
When do we find the divinitywithin ourselves again and stop
the cycle that has been going onfor generations?
Because the cycle, you know,I've been saying for months that
these things are going tohappen, the things that we see

(23:54):
around Mother Earth and thetornadoes and the hurricanes and
the earthquakes.
I've been saying for monthsthese things are coming and I
wasn't wrong.
And what's coming in the nextcouple months, the next few
months, I believe, are going tobe worse than what we've seen

(24:15):
right now and unless we find away to come together and let go
of that religious nature andjust simply start loving each
other, I don't care what raceyou are, I don't care what color
you are, I don't care whatgender you are.

(24:41):
I don life of happiness, oflove, and it's not for any human
, any failed, flawed human, tojudge you for what you feel
inside, what you believe, thatwe should be helping each other,

(25:06):
that we should be just, weshould be happy, helping each
other, not obligated, and notwanting things in return.
You know these people.

(25:27):
They show videos of themselvesgiving people money and
different things and it saddensme because they're not doing it
to help people, they're justdoing it for you know, the
publicity, the fame and thewhatever it may be.
People may we find in ourhearts, may we find in our

(25:53):
spirit to begin to love people, this world and the balance of
life again.
May we go back to some of whatwe knew in the old ways,
listening to the ancestors howthey lived, how they knew and

(26:16):
understood that we can't takemore than what we need and we
can't just keep destroying andexpect everything to be okay.
We can't just keep destroyingand expect everything to be okay
.
We can't just keep cutting downtrees and pouring pavement over
them and building buildings andbuilding more homes for more
people as we just grow and growand grow while the animal life

(26:37):
dies around us and the resourcesare consumed.
What happens when they're allconsumed?
What happens when there'snothing left?
That time will come, but MotherNature has a way of preventing
that sometimes, and that's whatwe're seeing right now.

(27:02):
Take some time, no matter whereyou are, what you're seeing
right now.
Take some time, no matter whereyou are, what you're doing.
May we find a way to cometogether to help these people.
Maybe it's just one family thatyou can help.
Maybe you could sponsor onefamily, maybe you can do more.
Maybe it's volunteeringsomewhere, maybe it's just

(27:26):
praying for them.
Whatever it is, make it anaction.
Make it a true action.
If you're going to pray, manifest it, make it happen,
believe it can happen.
Manifest that water.
Manifest the waters to reside, cooled down For big businesses,

(27:53):
to want to help Big corporations, to want to simply help rebuild
, without the word profit everbeing in the picture.
Humanity Humanity, you know itcan mean many things.

(28:14):
It's not just the race ofpeople.
Humanity is an emotion, it's afeeling within us.
When we lose our humanity,Humanity in itself dies.
We're all just an empty bunchof vessels running around like

(28:34):
robots serving a higher elite.
And I'm telling you now that wecan change things.
We can make a world that onlyyou can dream of.
But it's not a dream.
It can be real.

(28:55):
But you gotta lay down thatsort of religion.
You gotta lay down that sort ofreligion.
You've got to lay down thatsword of judgment.
You've got to lay down the hesaid, she said stuff and just
simply begin to do what we knowis right Helping each other.
