I'll be honest, I've never thought of myself as someone who deals with depression.

I don't know if it's because I have the propensity to spiritualize everything in my life, or if it's just been flat out denial. But, if I'm being honest, depression is something that I deal with not just here and there, but most of my life. I think for so long, I've been able to will my way out of depression through performance and achievement and any sort of forward mobility. But, with life coming to a screeching halt, I've had no where to run to and I've had to really look at my relationship with depression and how I can begin to cope in healthier and more effective ways.

On this episode, I briefly talk about my experience with depression, especially these last few months, and the 4 ways that I'm building resilience around depression and coping with it in healthy ways.
