Ep. 23 - 4 Ways To Know If Your Living Out You're Truth or Making A Huge Mistake

I think that we can all agree, especially if you’re someone who is trying to do your best of tuning in and honoring your truth, the still small voice guiding your life, that there inevitably comes a time when your soul comes knocking on your hearts door and whispering to you that this is the way. Like, this is the direction that you’re supposed to go.

And often times, the way, it’s not clear, it’s full of uncertainty, it doesn’t always make sense and therefore you can’t really explain why you’re about to do what you’re about to do.

First off, if you are in that season I just want to say that I honor you because I think it takes a tremendous amount of courage to even acknowledge that path. And secondly, if you’re there or you’ve been there before, then you know that honoring your truth during these decisions is really grey because it’s not always clear and usually there’s some sort of metaphorical death happening. A letting go. A walking away. And it can be hard.

And I don’t know about you, but for me, there are times when I can’t help but to wonder if I’m actually hearing my soul’s call, my truth, that’s leading me on my journey of finding my way, or is this just a rogue feeling and in all actuality I’m about to blow up my life and make a huge mistake.

Well, lucky for us, there are those who have gone before us who have laid out questions and wisdom that can help mirror back to us, if we’re willing to be honest with ourselves, if in fact that what we are hearing or the decision that we’re about to make is actually our truth or if there is something else happening.
