A place where listeners can hear solid bible teaching and preaching from the KJV 1611. Some content is exclusive to this podcast, while other is from live recorded sermons from Dillon Baptist Church in Dillon, Montana.
Have you ever wondered why some people put such an emphasis on the Bible? I mean, isn't it just a book? Yes, it is a book, but so much more than just a book or even just "The Good Book". Listen on to find out some of the many things the bible can do for you.
In light of Father's Day, we will look at what the bible has to say about fathers.
In this episode we learn a great deal about our tongue and the power it holds. It is a great warning to us to be careful with this powerful member of our body.
Psalm 5, part 1. Here we learn about the postures of prayer and also of God's true opinion toward our sinful nature, but also of his love toward us at Calvary.
Psalm 3 is one of my favorite types of Psalms: it starts out bad and on a low note but finishes victoriously. Here we get to see through the heart of David how his faith in God made all the difference.
Chapter and verse study through the book of Psalms.
Part 2 in the series of being a biblical husband, outlining our responsibilities in the home and our marriage.
What does the bible say about being a husband? Many people think it just all about "ruling over the wife", but actually it is much different than that. Yes, there are scriptural outlines for men and women within the marriage, but I think many men miss the mark when comes to being the right type of husband biblically. Listen to this mini-series to learn more.
As Paul begins to close his letter to the Romans, he discusses a bit about his ministry of spreading the gospel of the grace of God.
In this chapter, Paul touches on spiritual maturity the responsibility that comes with it.
This episode concludes our study in Romans 14. Herein Paul admonishes to be careful about judging a brother in Christ concerning things that do not have a bearing on our salvation. To balance it out, we also learn that some things, though perhaps not sinful, should still be avoided lest we cause someone to stumble.
There are two main judgments spoken of in the bible; one in Romans 14 and the other in Revelation 20. It is important to know the difference and decide at which one you will appear. The choice is yours.
Paul mentions that "we" shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. This is not a general judgment for all peoples, but specifically for those who have trusted in Christ. Listen on to learn more.
David's instruction on keeping a watch over what we say. This was recorded during a live sermon.
David's attitude in prayer and proclaiming his disdain for sin. This was recorded during a live sermon.
With sometimes misplaced good intentions, Christians and pastors will point out things in other people's lives that they disagree with. Often, those things are not clearly defined in scripture, but are a doubtful disputation as Paul teaches in this portion of Romans 14.
This chapter is one that many folks would like to just pass over. Here is where Paul instructs, and gives guidelines, to scriptural submission to authority. Keep in mind, Paul was not writing this from a utopian society, but rather during the period that Nero was in power.
