Over and over in scripture, we are called to remember. Remembering is essential to living well.
We MUST remember:
Joshua 4:4-7
“…these stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”
Remembering is essential for passing on faith. We need to tell these stories again and again. How tragic would it be if we failed to tell our stories of faith! It’s easy to forget how God has been faithful in our lives. In a fog of suffering, grief, or failure, we can forget who we are and how faithful God has been in our lives, forgetting that the Lord has been in control. Physical reminders, journaling, and traditions can be a great way to remember.
We must remember who died to save us. The love of God is so great. Part of living as Christians is reminding each other of that great love.
