If you want to catch big Muskie you have to look up Shane Akin who is considered a legend muskie fishermen in these parts. Shane and his partner Matt still hold the record for most muskie in a day and most in a 2 day tournament with 12 muskie recorded. That record tournament landed them in the PMTT world championship muskie tournament in Kentucky. They had some tough luck and ended up 4th in the world which is awesome considering they were going up against the best.
We touch on the reproduction of muskie in the great lakes area going over the netting and milking of these Apex predators. Did you know a muskie can grow 15 inches in one year?
