Welcome to the next episode ofthe Fit and Healthy Sioux Falls
Show.
I'm your host, cj Workamp, andtoday we are transforming the
negative thoughts that we alltend to have into positive
thoughts that move us towardsour goals.
Let's dive in to today'sepisode.

What is going on, my friends?

(00:44):
Welcome to the next episode.
This is going to be a greatepisode, and I know it's going
to be a great episode because Iposted a post in the Fit and
Healthy University, which is ouronline health and fitness
community, and it was a postwith 50 different negative

(01:06):
thoughts that could possibly popup into your mind, and then it
had 50 alternative positivethoughts that you could reframe
that negative and really helpmove you in the right direction.
We all know that the thoughtsthat we have become the really
foundation for the belief thatwe then have and go out and

(01:30):
fulfill our day and fulfill thegoals that we have.
And if the thoughts that wehave continually are negative
and we're not actively swappingthem out with a positive thought
, those negative thoughts aregoing to move us unintentionally
down a path that we don't wantto go.
So what you want to do if weknow that negative thoughts pop

(01:53):
up, and the truth is is they do.
I don't care who you are myself, you, your friends we all have
negative thoughts and,unfortunately, the most amount
of negative thoughts we have areactually like negative towards
ourself.
It's like negative self-talk.
And so if we want to achieveour health and our fitness goals

, we have to believe that wetruly can achieve them.
But if we're always havingthoughts that are negative and
thoughts that are not making usbelieve that we have what it
takes to achieve them, how areyou going to achieve them?
And so today we're going to gothrough a list of 50, that's
right, 50 negative thoughts, andI'm going to give you a way

that you can turn that negativethought into a positive thought,
and so that that way, when anegative thought pops up in your
head, you are armed, preparedand ready to replace it with a
positive thought that can keeppushing you towards the goals
that you have.
So I really would recommend,while listening or watching this
episode, get a notebook out,because this is one where you

might want to jot some of thesedown.
Maybe I'll put them in thedescription also too all of them
but they're just negativethoughts that pop up and maybe
you don't mean for them to, butif we aren't ready to replace
them, they take control andthat's not okay.
So let's dive in to thenegative thought and then let's
talk about the positive thought.
We could already have ready toreplace it.

And again, I'm actually readingthese right out of the Fit and
Healthy University and some ofthem were even commenting that
they took it and they made itinto like a Google Doc or a PDF
and they have it saved becauseit just is such a good help,
reminding yourself how awesomeyou really are.
So let's dive in Number one.

(03:41):
Number one I'm not good enough.
That's a positive or a negativethought that might pop into
your head, but a positivethought you can replace it with
is I'm capable of becoming great.
So, replacing I'm not goodenough with I'm capable of
becoming great Another one,number two I'll never succeed.
If you ever have the thoughtand it pops up, I'll never

succeed.
I want to encourage you toreplace it with I'm on the path
to success with every step Itake.
It's the same thing.
I'll never succeed.
Well, right now you're notsucceeding, but if you replace
it with the positive thought ofI'm on my way to success with
every step that I take.
Number three I always fail.

(04:23):
If that thought ever pops up inyour head, replace that with I.
Learn and grow from everychallenge.
So replace I always fail with Ilearn and grow from every
challenge.
What about this one?
I'm too tired.
We all feel that one right thatpops up.
I'm too tired.
Well, we need to take that andreplace it with I have the

(04:45):
energy to push through andfinish strong.
And it's just that simpleswitching out of a negative
thought to a positive thought.
That's going to keep you going.
Number five it's too hard.
If that thought ever pops up,squash it and we call these ants
.
We call them ants because it'san automatic negative thought.
So if the ant it's too hardpops up, squash that ant and

replace it with I am strongenough to handle hard things.
I'm strong enough to handlehard things.
Number six I can't do this.
Okay, that's a lie, totally alie.
You can replace it with I'mcapable of overcoming any
obstacle.
So replace I can't do this withI'm capable of overcoming any

(05:32):
obstacle.
Number seven I'm not smartenough.
Okay, we can replace that, thenegative of I'm not smart enough
.
Replace it with I have theability to lean sorry, to learn
and improve every day.
I have the ability to leansorry to learn and improve every
day.
I have the ability to learn andimprove every day.
What about this one?
I'm not worthy.
So many times we have thatthought of I'm just not worthy.

(05:55):
We can replace that with I amdeserving of success and
happiness.
What about this one?
I'll never be like them.
So many times that comparisonis the thief of joy, so replace.
I'll never be like them.
So many times that comparisonis the thief of joy, so replace.
I'll never be like them with.
I am on my own unique journeyto success.
I love that one.
You are on your own uniquejourney to success.

(06:18):
Don't worry about them.
This is about you and it's yourunique journey to success.
Here's a good one I can'tchange.
So many times we feel that Ijust can't change, and there's
how you can replace that with Iam evolving and improving every
day.
So many people think this I'm afailure, and I actually did a

(06:38):
little mindset Monday on thatone.
We're not failures, and sotaking I'm a failure and
replacing it with I'm a work inprogress, constantly growing,
and so you have to be ready whenthese automatic negative
thoughts pop up.
You have to be ready to squashthem and be prepared, be
prepared.
And so, really, what I will dois I'll put these down in the

(06:59):
description, all of them, all 50of them, and then what you can
do is look through them andmaybe some of them are going to
pop up and resonate more withyou as these pop up in my life
more than the other ones.
Maybe you take your top fiveand then you start memorizing
and studying what you're goingto replace the negative thought
with.
So when that pops up, you boom,replace it.

(07:20):
Not even say it out loud.
Say the positive one out loud.
Here's another one Nobody likesme.
Okay, replace that with I amsurrounded by people who value
and care about me.
Because if you think thatnobody likes you and that's a
thought that keeps popping upand you don't actively replace
it, you're going to startbelieving that, and the truth is

(07:41):
is there are people around youthat love you, that believe in
you and want to see you win.
So replace nobody likes me withI'm surrounded by people who
value and care about me.
13, I don't deserve happiness.
Replace it with I am worthy ofall the happiness that comes my
way.
So you're replacing I don'tdeserve happiness with.

(08:02):
I'm worthy of all the happinessthat comes my way.
I'm not talented enough.
You ever thought that?
Well, let's replace that withmy unique talents and skills.
Make me special.
My unique talents and skillsmake me special.
What if we replaced that?
And we literally thought thatevery day, every time we thought
I'm not talented enough.

(08:23):
If we replaced it with myunique talents and skills, make
me special.
How awesome would you feel,knowing that you are unique and
the things that are unique toyou?
They're actually what make youspecial.
I love it.
Let's keep going on.
I've made too many mistakes.
My mistakes help me grow andsucceed.

(08:44):
Right, we learn from themistakes that we make.
I don't have time.
I make time for the things thatmatter to me, so replace I
don't have time with the thoughtand the statement I make time
for things that matter to me.
I'm too old to start now.
Have you ever heard that?
Have you ever thought that I'mtoo old to start now?

(09:06):
We're gonna replace that withit's never too late to make
positive change.
It's never too late to makepositive change.
Let's keep on going here.
I got another one.
Okay, 18, it's impossible.
Have you ever thought somethingis impossible.
Well, we're going to replacethat with everything is possible
with effort and belief that oneis ended with, and belief.

(09:29):
Everything is possible witheffort and belief.
So, are you putting in theeffort to replace the negative
thoughts that pop up in yourmind?
I'm not attractive.
What about this one?
You ever thought that you lookin the mirror?
You just think to yourself man,I'm not attractive.
Well, replace that friend.
Replace it with I love andappreciate my body for all that

(09:51):
it can do.
Okay, you can do so many greatthings.
You are unique, you are special, and I want you to replace I'm
not attractive with I love andappreciate my body for all it
can do.
Number 20, I'm not strongenough.
Replace it with I'm strongerthan I realize.
Number 21, I'll never be fit.

(10:11):
Okay, first off, never saynever.
We don't want to talk inabsolutes, but we're going to
replace I'll never be fit andwe're going to replace it with
with consistency, I can achievemy fitness goals.
Moving on 22, I'm too scared totry.
We're going to replace that tocourage comes from trying and I

(10:32):
am brave enough.
I'm too busy?
Okay, replace I'm too busy with.
I prioritize what matters mostto me.
It's kind of like I don't haveenough time but I'm too busy.
Replace it with I prioritizewhat matters most to me.
I'm stuck.
We have that negative thoughtpop up, the thought of I'm stuck
.
Replace that with I have thepower to change my circumstances

Replace I'm stuck with I havethe power to change my

Moving on to the next one, 25,we're halfway there.
No one will help me.
Replace that with I amsurrounded by people who want to
see me succeed.
Number 26, I'll never find loveIf you're lonely out there and

you've ever had that thought ofI'll never find love.
Replace that with I am worthyof love and I will find it when
the time is right.
Number 27, I'm not creative.
We're going to replace that tomy creativity.
First, you're going to saycreativity right.
So you're going to replace I'mnot creative with my creativity

flows when I give it room togrow.
My creativity flows when I giveit room to grow.
Number 28, I can't afford toinvest in myself.
We're going to replace thatwith I am worth the investment
in my own growth.
Replace I can't afford toinvest in myself to I am worth

(12:00):
the investment in my own growth.
Number 29, I'm not important.
We're going to replace thatwith I'm valuable and my
contributions matter.
Friend, you need to believe it.
You are valuable and yourcontributions matter.
30, I'll never be happy.
We're going to replace thatthought with I create my own

(12:20):
happiness through my choices.
Make the choices that will makeyour future self proud.
I'm a burden.
You ever thought like you're aburden or felt like you're a
burden?
Well, let's change that thoughtto.
I add value to the lives ofthose around me and maybe, if
you don't right now, saying thatstatement, I add value to the

(12:44):
lives of those around me.
It's gonna help you curate andthink of ways that you can add
value to those around you.
The next one 32, I always messup.
Let's replace that with I'mlearning from my experiences and
improving every day.
33, I don't belong.
Let's change that to.

(13:06):
I am an important part of mycommunity.
34, I can't handle this.
Let's change that to.
I have the strength andresilience to get through this.
Number 35, I'm not brave enough.
Let's change that to I have thecourage to face my fears.

(13:26):
Number 36, I'm just not lucky.
We're going to squash that badbelief and we're going to
replace it with I create my ownopportunities through action.
You must take action, friend.
You have to own opportunitiesthrough action.
You must take action, friend,you have to.
I said this a while ago and Iused to go to all the

(13:47):
conferences.
I used to go to all themeetings.
I used to listen to all thepodcasts and I'd have a notebook
and I had so many amazing notesin that notebook.
But what I found out is that Iwas actually an information
gatherer.
I gathered all the information,but in order for you to go from
where you're at right now,today, to that next step, you

(14:07):
have got to take action.
So today, decide that you'renot going to just hear these
things, you're going to takeaction on them.
Let's go to the next one.
I'm too far behind to catch up.
We're going to squash that.
We're going to replace it withI can make progress at my own

(14:27):
pace.
Number 38, I'm unlovable.
We're going to replace thatwith I am deserving of love and
I give love freely.
Number 39, I'm a disappointment.
We're going to get rid of thataltogether because you're not a
disappointment, and we're goingto replace that with I'm proud
of who I am and what I'veachieved.

(14:48):
Number 40, you got 10 more togo.
I can't take risks.
You ever feel that way.
I'm stuck where I am and I justcan't afford to take that risk.
Change that thought to I'mwilling to take calculated risks
for growth.
I'm willing to take calculatedrisks for growth.
I'm willing to take calculatedrisks for growth.
Number 41, I'll never reach mygoals, friend.

(15:10):
Replace that belief with everystep I take brings me closer to
my goals.
Start saying that, startbelieving that and start
achieving the goals that you'reafter.
Number 42, I'm not special.
We're gonna replace that with Iam unique and have something
valuable to offer.
Number 43, I don't have thewillpower.

(15:33):
People will say that you mightthink it.
I don't have the willpower.
We're gonna get rid of that andwe're gonna replace it with I
have the inner strength to stayconsistent and committed.
Next, I'm not disciplined,friend.
We need to squash that belief.
We need to replace that beliefwith I'm developing discipline

(15:55):
every day.
So take I'm not disciplined,get it out of your thought
process and replace it with I'mdeveloping discipline every day.
45.
People will judge me.
Get rid of that thought andchange it to I'm confident in
who I am, regardless of others'opinions.
Get rid of it and change it.

(16:17):
Okay, it doesn't matter, peoplewill judge me.
Squash it, get rid of it,eliminate it and start telling
yourself I'm confident in who Iam, regardless of others'
opinions.
46, I'll never be successfulOkay, we're going to replace
that with success is a journeyand I'm taking the right steps.

(16:37):
So take I'll never besuccessful and replace it to
success is a journey and I'mtaking the right steps.
Number 47, I'm afraid offailure Okay, and we're going to
replace that one with failureis a stepping stone to success.
So stop being afraid of failureand realize that failure is a

(16:59):
stepping stone to success.
48, we're getting there.
You guys, it's too late for me.
If you've ever had the thought,or you ever believe, that it's
too late for you, replace thatwith it's never too late to
start fresh and achieve mydreams.
You guys, wherever you're at,whatever it is that you wanna
achieve, it's not too late, butyou have to start taking action

(17:22):
today.
Number 49, I'm not confident.
Let's replace that with I'mbuilding my confidence with
every challenge I face.
If you ever think to yourself,or ever have that thought pop up
, that I'm not confident, I wantyou to squash it, replace it
and add in I'm building myconfidence with every challenge

(17:43):
I face.
And 50, the last one I can'tfind balance.
You ever thought that I can'tfind balance.
Replace that thought.
Establish a new belief of I'mcapable of creating balance in
my life.
I'm capable of creating balancein my life.

(18:04):
Now here's the thing that was50 of them and we went over them
relatively quick.
I want you to know that anynegative thought that pops up in
your head, it's yourresponsibility, it's your
obligation, it's your duty totake that negative thought, hold
it captive, squash it, get ridof it and then replace it with a

positive thought that's goingto create a foundational belief
system that you can stand on.
That you can start to lean onand then you can start to step
on towards the goals that youhave.
This is a health and a fitnesspodcast, but you guys, I'm
telling you, if you don't getyour mind right, I don't care
what health, what fitness goalsyou, if you don't get your mind
right, I don't care what health,what fitness goals you have,

(18:46):
you will never be able to reachthem, because your mindset is
truly what dictates the outcome.
Your mindset is going to buildthe belief that you need in
order to achieve success.
And so if you're havingnegative thoughts pop up in your
mind and you're not doinganything about them and you're
letting them live there that iswhat's creating your belief
system it's time that you startcontrolling the negative

thoughts, squashing them,getting them out and then
replacing them and refillingthem with some of these thoughts
I just gave you.
