My guest this week is Jeff Einstein.
Jeff Einstein is a former digital media pioneer long ago turned digital apostate. His digital bona fides include the first major how-to book series on personal computers and the first digital advertising agency -- both dating way back to the mid-1980s.
He turned digital apostate in the early 21st century when he became the first to explore what he called our default meta-addiction to all things media and all things digital. What happens, he asked, to our time and money and freedom when addiction suddenly becomes the social rule rather than the exception? What happens, he asked, when every function of our lives is suddenly and irrevocably institutionalized by runaway digital scale?
Jeff currently publishes the Quality of Life Resistance Movement Substack and is crowdfunding his latest feature documentary, The Rise of Huxwell, on Rise of Huxwell.
