Fitzlife Unfiltered with Kim & Jamie Fitzpatrick

Kim and Jamie Fitzpatrick are partners in every sense of the word, both in life and business. Former employees turned online entrepreneurs, they are a married couple of two awesome little humans; Colby is 12 and Tessa is 9, and they live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada with their rescue dog Clemmy. They have together, and individually, built multiple 7 figure businesses, both traditional brick and mortar as well as online enterprises in Direct Sales, Online Retail, and life & business coaching. Nothing is off limits in this podcast as they share triumphs and struggles, both personally and professionally, and really hope to help others relate to the trials and tribulations that this crazy life offers. Love, marriage, kids, sex, business, abundance, and inspiration are routinely covered in the hopes that we can provide value to your life and maybe even the courage to chase some of those dreams that have been put on hold for far too long. Please always check the episode notes for contact info and resources related to the topic. Thank you for listening, it is so appreciated! Enjoy!

The conversation centered on a challenge many face.  Alcohol consumption. It's socially normalized, deeply embedded in various cultures, and often used as a...

We’re back in the studio today, and honestly, it feels really good. A year ago, Kim and I were standing at a major crossroads. After ten years of building a business we loved, it came to an end, and while that day could’ve felt devastating, it actually became one of the greatest redirections of our lives. Looking back now, I see how that ending made space for everything that followed.

We handled it differently, and that’s okay. I wa...

We’ve got three and a half months left, and the truth is, this is when breakthroughs are born. This week’s episode is something really special. Kim went solo and shared a powerful conversation about the last four months of the year and what they truly mean for us. She reminded us that we don’t need to wait for January or for a new year to give ourselves permission to start again. We don’t need the calendar to roll over to create change, what we actually need is a new now.

Kim talks about how this season, the final s...

This week Kim and I dive deep into the power of words, the importance of mindset, and the mid-year reset we are both committed to right now. We talk about how what you say matters and how writing it down can shape your reality. I shared how I printed three posters for my office with simple but powerful prompts: “Show me how good it can get,” “Show me how healthy I can get,” and “Show me how good I can feel.” These are daily reminde...

In this episode, Kim brings a powerful reminder that it is never too late to pause, reflect, and realign. She dives into the reality we all face, ife moves fast, business gets busy, and sometimes the goals we set with so much intention in January get lost in the everyday chaos.

Kim uses one of her favourite analogies to paint the picture. Life is like juggling glass balls. As parents, professionals, partners, and leaders, we are con...

In this episode, Kim and I had a raw and meaningful conversation about something we all face in some form: healing.

Healing can show up in many ways, whether it is physical pain, emotional struggles, or mental exhaustion. But the quote that really hit me was this one:

“Everyone wants to heal until the medicine is discipline.”

That stopped me in my tracks because it is the truth most people do not want to face. Healing is not always...

In this episode, Kim and I reflect on our journey as entrepreneurs, partners, and parents over the last 12 years. We talk about how our definitions of success have evolved—what used to mean hustle, chaos, and achievement now means peace, impact, and alignment. When we met in 2003, I had already left teaching to pursue entrepreneurship, while Kim was thriving in a team environment and didn’t yet see herself as an entrepreneur. Over ...

In this week's episode, Kim and I reflected deeply on parenting teens, being vulnerable, and how that has shaped our relationship with our son, Colby. We opened up about how a moment of empathy from him after football practice reminded me he’s growing into a thoughtful young man.

I shared how telling him about my struggles after my cardiac arrest shifted something big in our relationship and it created trust and connection. We...

In this episode we dive deep into the power of subconscious beliefs, parts integration (a tool from NLP), and the ongoing work of aligning business, family, and personal identity. We explore how competing beliefs (like hustle vs. harmony) can be integrated to create internal peace and clarity. Kim shares a powerful exercise where she names her two conflicting parts: Carol (light, joy) and Ursula (sacrifice, hustle), and learns to b...

    Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
