Barby Ingle is a candidate for Arizona State Representative LD7. She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1994. She started her own business and was hired at Washington State University as a head coach, where she served until 2003. Due to health challenges, she moved to Arizona in 2003. She is a Christian and has been married since 2007 to her husband, Ken Taylor. Born in Bangkok, Thailand, to her parents, Christine and Jim, who served in the US Army before passing in 2015 and 2016, respectively, she has three siblings (Jim Jr, Marby, and Tim). Jim Jr. is an elected official on the Bermuda Board of Supervisors in Virginia. She is a successful health legislative advocate with 15 years of experience and has written seven bills, two of which are now law in Arizona.

She has worked on legislation in Arizona and 35+ other states, as well as federally, and worked with the Department of Defense and VA employees to bring medical support options to our military and veterans. She has published ten books (5 co-authored) and has spent the last 18 years educating and authoring articles on improving healthcare from the patient's perspective. Over the past few years, she has received over 40 accolades for her advocacy efforts. Since 2022, she has served as a Precinct Committeeman for Pinal County D5 and resides in Pinal County, AZ.
