five, to help you capturethe feel-good, soul-lifting
vibes of the summer season.
The first two episodes are aboutplayfulness and joy, and this
week the focus is adventure.
Not the kind thatrequires a passport or
packed bag, my friend.
(00:42):
I'm talking about the adventurethat fits into your every day.
In my July 16th email, Iencouraged you to notice
when you're on autopilot, and allow your curiosity to
lead, even if it's as simpleas hitting the aisles of
a different grocery store.
I want to make it easy foryou to add adventure into your
day without overwhelm or anybrain power needed, my friend.
(01:04):
So, I have 10 ideas for you.
Simply choose the optionsthat sound best to you
or let them inspire youto figure out your own.
Number one, spend 30 minuteswatching the sky change
at sunrise or sunset.
Take photos or practiceyour mindfulness to be 100%
present so it's sure tostick in your memory bank.
(01:26):
Number two, listen to agenre of music you don't
typically listen to.
Number three, walk inan adjacent neighborhood
instead of your own.
Or maybe choose a neighborhoodwhere you'd love to live.
Number four, do somethingfor the first time.
No self-judgment, my friend.
Just joy.
Number five, switchup a daily routine.
(01:47):
Change the order of what younormally do in the mornings
or evenings, or if you can doit at a different time of day.
Number six, visit a localbusiness you've never been to.
Number seven, change howyou move through a grocery
store, shop, or otherplace that you frequent.
Instead of going to the leftwhen you enter, go to the right.
Rather than sitting inyour usual spot, choose a
(02:10):
seat with a different view.
Number eight, read or listento a book you wouldn't normally
choose or podcast or movie.
Number nine, brush yourteeth or comb your hair
with your non-dominant hand.
How much more do you need tothink about this typically
mundane task when you dosomething as simple as switching
which hand you do it with?
And number 10, enter andexit your neighborhood
(02:33):
in different ways.
When you do, what do you noticethat you never have before?
