But it isn't alwayseasy to listen.
Hey there, my friend.
It's me, Karli, your favoriteGenX dealer of positive vibes
and life and wellness coach forwomen in midlife and beyond.

Thank you for joining me here.
As women in midlife and beyond,we were raised to be polite,
respectful, and agreeable.
Nice traits to have, butperhaps you are one of the many
who became an accommodatingpeople-pleaser as a result.
You can't see me, but I'mraising my hand high over here!
Unfortunately, thosepeople-pleasing tendencies can

get in the way of listeningto our own intuition.
Too often we ignore ordiscount our gut feelings
in order to keep the peaceor avoid a difficult choice,
especially if we can't explainwhy something feels off.
But here's the truth, yourbody often knows before
your brain can name it.
That's your inner knowingand it's time to release

any self-doubt or need foroutside approval that keeps you
from paying attention to it.
In this guided visualization,I'll help you slow down,
turn inward, and connect withthat quiet wisdom you carry.
You don't need to do anything.
Just listen, breathe, and allowwhat comes up to guide you.
At the end of our time together,I encourage you to write.

Have your journal,notebook or favorite
app close by, my friend.
Find a comfortable position,sitting or lying down.
Feel free to fidget a bit.
Roll your shoulders.
Stretch your neck.
Release any tension you'reholding in your jaw, your
hands, your shoulders.

(01:51):
Let your eyes gently closeor lower your gaze, and
take the first of threelong, slow breaths in.
Hold it for a moment,and exhale slowly
and completely.

(02:13):
Do that again.
Inhale, deeply.
Hold and exhale.
Feel yourself settleinto this space.
One more big breath.
Hold.

(02:34):
Exhale.
Now allow your breath toreturn to its natural pattern.
while you bring yourattention to your body.
Notice the parts of you thatare touching the surface.
Feel how you are supported.

(02:58):
Feel how that surfaceholds you and go ahead and
relax into that support.
Imagine a soft, warm lightforming in the center of
your body, in your core.

(03:22):
This light is yourinner knowing.
Feel its warmth grow.
As it does, it gets brighter.

(03:44):
And its colorbecomes more vibrant.
Notice how it feelsas it expands gently
through your chest, yourbelly, your shoulders.

(04:10):
This inner knowing isdeep inside of you.
It's there to guide you.
Even when you doubt.
Even when the outside worlddoesn't want you to hear it.

(04:33):
Your inner knowingis always with you.
Without stepping back intothe moment, think of a time
when something felt off.
You just knew in your corethat something wasn't aligned.

(05:02):
You may describe it as agut feeling or intuition.
At the time, you might nothave had words for it or
been able to explain it.

(05:24):
But you knew.
As a gentle observer, what canyou identify about that feeling?
Where did it sit in your body?
What other clues can yousee from this perspective?

(05:57):
Take a deep breathof self-trust in
and exhale self-doubt.
Take another deepbreath of self-trust in.
And exhale self-doubt.

(06:22):
Repeat that one more time.
Turn your attentionback to the warm light
of your inner knowing.
Is there a message it has foryou that applies to the present?

(06:45):
Take the next fewmoments to listen.
Hear whatever arises.

(07:07):
No need to force anything.
Just listen.
Just trust.

(07:36):
Gently wiggle your fingersand toes, my friend.
Coming back closer tothe space you're in.
And flutter your eyes open.

Hold the feeling.
Trust that the warmlight of your inner
knowing is always there.
It always will be.

embrace self-trust andhear the message your inner
knowing is telling you.
