Thanks for joining me herefor this guided meditation.
As women in midlife andbeyond, it is so easy to
feel like you're the only oneexperiencing certain physical
changes, emotions, struggles.
But I am here to tell youover and over and over again

that you are not alone.
This is exactly why I'mbuilding the FLIPSIDE
OF MIDLIFE® community.
You deserve to have a placeto land where you feel
safe, seen and connected.
A kind and positive spacewhere other women understand
what you're feeling andexperiencing, even if
it's not exactly the same.

In this guided meditation,I'll help you feel a
warm sense of belonging.
Start by finding acomfortable position.
You can sit or lie down, ifthat feels more comfortable.
Feel free to fidget alittle bit, roll your
shoulders, stretch your neck.

(01:27):
Relax your jaw, your hands,your belly, and let's
start with a nice bigbreath in through your nose
and out gentlythrough your mouth.
Take two more big breathsthat feel good to you,

(01:52):
and then return to yournatural breath pattern.
If thoughts start cominginto your mind, just
let them float away.
Bring your attentionback to your breath to
help you focus again.
And imagine yourselfsitting on the floor.

(02:19):
It's so comfortable.
The room is theperfect temperature.
The room smells so nice.
It feels so good tobe in this space.

(02:44):
The door opens and several womencome into the room
and join you in a circle.
You feel their energy.
It's kind, it's supportive.

(03:07):
It's friendly.
You notice a glowinglight inside each of you.
You feel yours in your heart.

(03:28):
The light is soft at first,but starts to glow a little
bit brighter in each of you.
You notice filaments of lightextending out from each of

(03:49):
the women in the circle.
Almost like little spider webs.
These filaments reachout and connect with the
other women in the circle.
There's not a pull on thesefilaments of light, but there's
a connection between you.

(04:14):
You feel the good energyin the room coming into you
and extending out from you.
Connecting.
Sharing.
With no words at all.

(04:34):
Feel how good itfeels to be connected.
To know you're not alone,to feel supported
and to support.
Each of you makes eyecontact looking at every

(04:56):
woman in the circle.
And the light filamentsbetween you glow even brighter.
They start to fade anddissolve in the air,
but you can still feelyour connection with these

(05:17):
other women, with thisspace, in this circle.
You know that this connectiondoes not dissolve even
though those filamentsare no longer there.

(05:40):
Hold this feeling in your heart.
Take a nice big breath inand let it out.
Start to bring your attentionback to the room you're in.

(06:06):
Wiggle your fingers and toesand gently flutter
your eyes open.
If it's helpful, putyour hands on your heart.
Feel that warmth.
Sit here for a momentand know that you can revisit

this meditation anytime youwant to feel that warm sense
of connection and belonging.
