With releases from Morbid Opera, Gay Cowboys In Bondage, and Psycho Daisies, Sublapse and Suburban Relapse played a significant role in shaping the local music scene.

In this episode, Barry shares his memories of growing up in Miami, hanging out at record shops of the day, and witnessing the birth of the South Florida punk scene. He recounts seeing bands like The Eat, Charlie Pickett and The Eggs, Screaming Sneakers, and Smegma, as well as partnering with David Camp to bring Black Flag to South Florida for the first time! Barry shares stories of record collecting, including his passion for 50's blues and early 60's soul music.
