The Worship of Messiah

In the book of Luke, we are told of the decree of Caesar of Augustus for the world to be registered. As a result of this decree, Joseph took his betrothed wife Mary to the town of his family's lineage: Bethlehem. While there, they received a visit from some wisemen from the east who came to worship, and give presents to, the newborn King. On the way, these wisemen had past through the city of Jerusalem looking for the newborn King. This investigation brought great consternation to King Herod.
